Taliban cut off the heads of 17 people

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton consider the Taliban as partners in peace. It matters not to them that the Taliban is not interested in anything but lopping off the heads of infidels or anyone who doesn’t toe their line.

ABC News – Insurgents attacked a large party in a Taliban-controlled area of southern Afghanistan and beheaded 17 people, officials said on Monday.

The head of the local government initially said the victims were civilians at a celebration late Sunday involving music and dancing in the Musa Qala district of Helmand province. The official, Neyamatullah Khan, said the Taliban killed the party-goers for flouting the extreme brand of Islam embraced by the militants.

However, a provincial government official said later that those killed were caught up in a fight between two Taliban commanders over two women, who were among the dead. Daoud Ahmadi, a spokesman for the provincial government, said shooting broke out during the fight. He said it was unclear whether the music and dancing triggered the violence and whether the dead were all civilians or possibly included some fighters.

Ahmadi said all of the bodies were decapitated but it was not clear if they had been shot first.

In other violence, two American soldiers were shot and killed by one of their Afghan colleagues in the east, military officials said. Afghan officials said the killings appeared to be accidental, however NATO would not comment on the question of whether the killings were intentional or accidental.

The Taliban has controlled large parts of the district of Musa Qala, an area encompassing more than 100 villages, since 2001. They enforce the same strict interpretation of Islamic law that was imposed on all of Afghanistan during Taliban rule of Afghanistan from 1996-2001.

U.S. Marines have battled the Taliban for years in Musa Qala, but the insurgent group still wields in significant power in the area as international forces across the country draw down and hand over control to Afghan forces. Helmand province, where Musa Qala is located, is one of the areas seeing the largest reduction in U.S. troops. The U.S. started reducing forces from a peak of nearly 103,000 last year, and plans to have 68,000 troops by October.

Many Afghans and international observers have expressed concerns that the Taliban will try to re-impose strict Islamic justice as international forces withdraw. Under the Taliban, all music and film was banned as un-Islamic, and women were barred from leaving their homes without a male family member as an escort.

Video: Taliban massacre busload of Shia Muslims as they shout “Allahu Akbar!”

Obama’s “peace partners” demonstrate again what peace will look like as soon as they are in charge again.

(Graphic Video) Via Atlas Shrugs

The attack occurred back in February but for some reason the media couldn’t be bothered to report on it.

MyGilgit via GWP:

Sectarian gunmen ambushed a bus on Tuesday, killing 18 Shia Muslims in a usually peaceful region of northern Pakistan that neighbours the former Taliban stronghold of Swat, officials said.

The bus was stopped, before passengers were ordered off and shot in the mountainous district of Kohistan as it travelled from Rawalpindi to the northern city of Gilgit.

“Armed men hiding on both sides of the road attacked the bus,” local police chief Mohammad Ilyas said.

“Eighteen people have died and eight wounded,” he added. The ambush happened near the town of Harban, 130 miles (208 kilometres) north of the capital Islamabad.

Survivors said seven or eight gunmen stopped the bus, forced the passengers to get off and then opened fire, regional administration chief Khalid Omarzai told AFP by telephone, confirming the casualty numbers.

“It appears to be a sectarian attack,” local MP Abdul Sattar Khan said.

“Its a remote area. We are getting reports that the gunmen forced people to get off the bus. They checked their papers and shot them dead,” he told AFP.

The victims were Shia Muslims.

Taliban publicly execute woman with 5 bullets to the back of the head

Don’t forget that these are the savages that Barack Obama insists are his peace partners.

She was accused of adultery.

Reuters (h/t Weasel Zippers) — A man Afghan officials say is a member of the Taliban shot dead a woman accused of adultery in front of a crowd near Kabul, a video obtained by Reuters showed, a sign that the austere Islamist group dictates law even near the Afghan capital.

In the three-minute video, a turban-clad man approaches a woman kneeling in the dirt and shoots her five times at close range with an automatic rifle, to cheers of jubilation from the 150 or so men watching in a village in Parwan province.

“Allah warns us not to get close to adultery because it’s the wrong way,” another man says as the shooter gets closer to the woman. “It is the order of Allah that she be executed”.

Provincial Governor Basir Salangi said the video, obtained on Saturday, was shot a week ago in the village of Qimchok in Shinwari district, about an hour’s drive from Kabul.

Such rare public punishment was a painful reminder to Afghan authorities of the Taliban’s 1996–2001 period in power, and it raised concern about the treatment of Afghan women 11 years into the NATO-led war against Taliban insurgents.

“When I saw this video, I closed my eyes. . . The woman was not guilty; the Taliban are guilty,” Salangi told Reuters.

When the unnamed woman, most of her body tightly wrapped in a shawl, fell sideways after being shot several times in the head, the spectators chanted: “Long live the Afghan mujahideen! (Islamist fighters)”, a name the Taliban use for themselves.

Taliban poisons 4th Afghan girls’ school, 97 girls treated, 7 in critical condition

This is at least the 4th girls’ school that the Taliban has poisoned – 400 girls in the past month. The Obama Administration is still convinced they can make peace with these monsters.

RAWA (h/t WZ) — At least 97 students of the Bashirabad girls’ high school in the northern province of Takhar were poisoned on Saturday, officials said.

Seven schoolgirls are in critical condition while the rest were discharged from hospital after treatment, Public Health Director Habibullah Rostaqi told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Education Director Abdul Wahab Zafari said most of the 8th grade and 10th grade students were victims to Saturday’s poisoning.

With the latest case, the number of poisoned school girls over the past one month had reached 400, he said.

Taliban poisons another Afghan girls’ school, 43 hospitalized

This is at least the third time.

Yet, Barack Obama is convinced that he can make a peace deal with these monsters.

“When I entered the school, I smelt an ordour. After smelling, I fell unconscious on the ground,” said Zakia, a 9th grade student of the school.

RAWA (h/t WZ)— Once again radicals opposing girls’ education on Sunday poisoned more than three dozen schoolgirls in northern Takhar province, the third incident of its kind over the past two months, officials said.

The victims, students of the Bibi Hajira High School, situated on the 5th road of Taloqan city, the provincial capital, fell sick for unknown reasons, Education Director Abdul Wahab Zafari told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The incident takes place four days after more than 120 schoolgirls and three teachers of the same school were poisoned, in the second attack in as many months, blamed on conservative radicals opposed to education for women and girls in the north, according to police and education officials.

Nearly 43 girls were brought to the Takhar Civil Hospital, Public Health Director Dr. Hafizullah confirmed to Pajhwok.

Over 120 schoolgirls and 3 teachers poisoned by Taliban, second such attack

These are the savages that the Obama Administration is seeking so desperately to hand the country over to.

(Reuters)More than 120 schoolgirls and three teachers have been poisoned in the second attack in as many months blamed on conservative radicals in the country’s north, Afghan police and education officials said on Wednesday.

The attack occurred in Takhar province where police said that radicals opposed to education of women and girls had used an unidentified toxic powder to contaminate the air in classrooms. Scores of students were left unconscious.

Afghanistan’s intelligence agency, the National Directorate of Security (NDS), says the Taliban appear intent on closing schools ahead of a 2014 withdrawal by foreign combat troops.

“A part of their Al Farooq spring offensive operation is . . . to close schools. By poisoning girls they want to create fear. They try to make families not send their children to school,” NDS spokesman Lutfullah Mashal said.

Last month, 150 schoolgirls were poisoned in Takhar province after they drank contaminated water.

Obama releases high-level Taliban in exchange for ‘promise’ to give up violence

Appeaser-in-Chief.

The Islamonazis think we’re weak and stupid as hell. They are right in both cases.

KABUL — The United States has for several years been secretly releasing high-level detainees from a military prison in Afghanistan as part of negotiations with insurgent groups, a bold effort to quell violence but one that U.S. officials acknowledge poses substantial risks.

As the United States has unsuccessfully pursued a peace deal with the Taliban, the “strategic release” program has quietly served as a live diplomatic channel, allowing American officials to use prisoners as bargaining chips in restive provinces where military power has reached its limits.

But the releases are an inherent gamble: The freed detainees are often notorious fighters who would not be released under the traditional legal system for military prisoners in Afghanistan. They must promise to give up violence — and U.S. officials warn them that if they are caught attacking American troops, they will be detained once again.

There are no absolute guarantees, however, and officials would not say whether those who have been released under the program have later returned to attack U.S. and Afghan forces once again.

“Everyone agrees they are guilty of what they have done and should remain in detention. Everyone agrees that these are bad guys. But the benefits outweigh the risks,” said one U.S. official who, like others, discussed the issue on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the program.

The releases have come amid broader efforts to end the decade-long war through negotiation, which is a central feature of the Obama administration’s strategy for leaving Afghanistan. Those efforts, however, have yielded little to no progress in recent years. In part, they have been stymied by the unwillingness of the United States to release five prisoners from Guantanamo Bay — a gesture that insurgent leaders have said they see as a precondition for peace talks.  (more >>>)

Pakistan: Taliban behead kidnapped British doctor

And the Obama Administration still believes they can work with the Taliban and secure an excuse for surrender a “peace deal”.

Guardian (h/t Weasel Zippers) — The beheaded body of a kidnapped British doctor working for the International Committee of the Red Cross has been found dumped by the roadside in the south-western Pakistani city of Quetta.

Khalil Rasjed Dale, 60, was kidnapped by suspected militants on 5 January on his way home from work.

“The ICRC condemns in the strongest possible terms this barbaric act,” ICRC director-general Yves Daccord said in a statement. “All of us at the ICRC and at the British Red Cross share the grief and outrage of Khalil’s family and friends.”

Police discovered Dale’s head and body wrapped in plastic near a western bypass road on Sunday. His name was written on the white plastic bag with black marker.

Safdar Hussain, the first doctor to examine the body, said: “He was killed about 12 hours ago.”

Quetta is the capital of south-western Baluchistan, Pakistan’s biggest but poorest province, where Baluch separatist militants are fighting a protracted insurgency for more autonomy and control over the area’s natural resources. Pro-Taliban militants are also active in the province, which shares borders with Afghanistan and Iran.

Dale had worked for the ICRC and the British Red Cross in Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq before coming to Pakistan. He had been managing a health programme for Baluchistan for almost a year when he was abducted, the ICRC statement said.

Taliban launch largest coordinated attack yet, 7 locations in Afghanistan hit, including British embassy

Meanwhile, party animal U.S. Sec. of State Clinton and Surrenderer-in-Chief Obama are partying it up in Colombia.

The Taliban are demonstrating that they are as strong as ever, and that the U.S. is a paper tiger. No enemy fears the U.S. anymore. And if the skinny little Marxist gets four more years to emasculate the U.S. military, the U.S. will find itself with a lot more enemies ready to humiliate us.

(Guardian) — Kabul and several other key locations in Afghanistan were rocked by gunfire and explosions on Sunday as the Taliban-led insurgency launched its largest coordinated attack in its 11-year struggle.

The onslaught began at 2pm local time, with gun and rocket attacks on high profile buildings in Kabul, including the British embassy and several other foreign missions, parliament and Afghan government ministries. Simultaneous strikes were launched in the nearby provinces of Logar and Paktia, and on the airport in the eastern trading city of Jalalabad. Five hours later, as dusk fell in the capital, gun battles were still raging. A Taliban claim to have attacked President Hamid Karzai’s palace could not be immediately confirmed.

The attacks in Kabul resembled the audacious assault in September last year when gunmen stormed an abandoned, half-built tower from where they fired rockets on to the US Embassy, prompting a 20-hour siege by Afghan special forces.

Only this time the scale of the attack in the capital alone was even greater. At least seven sites across the heavily guarded city were attacked, raising worrying questions about the Taliban’s continued potency despite intense US efforts to degrade them on the battlefield.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahed said the attacks proved the movement’s strength. “The puppet government and its foreign backers claimed the Taliban would not be able to launch a spring offensive, but today’s attacks were the start of our spring offensive.”

In the south-west of the city gunmen managed to climb a five-storey building site from where they fired on the Afghan parliament, the Commerce Ministry and the Russian Embassy.

Some members of parliament, which is full of battle hardened former mujahideen commanders who fought a guerrilla campaign against Soviet occupying forces in the 1980s, grabbed weapons and joined parliamentary guards to try to repel the attack.

Pamir Patang, chief of staff at the neighbouring Commerce Ministry, said one of the fortified guard positions at the corner of the large ministerial compound was destroyed by a rocket propelled grenade.

“There appears to be quite a number of attackers who are well positioned inside the building and they are targeting us from there,” he said. “They used to just target the Afghan security agencies but now they seem to be deliberately targeting the country’s economic institutions as well.”

He said various foreign advisers working for the British company Adam Smith International were still stuck inside the sprawling compound and would probably not leave until the area had been secured.

Giddy Karzai: Obama to order release of 5 Gitmo terrorists to appease Taliban

We are supposed to believe that this “good-faith measure” will persuade the Taliban to let America surrender peacefully. Once gone, they can slaughter as many people as their heart desires, as far as Obama is concerned.

If Obama isn’t apologizing to terrorists, he’s appeasing them. When he’s not appeasing, he’s fighting their wars for them. One may easily conclude we have a terrorist sympathizer in the White House.

(Reuters) – Five Taliban detainees held at the U.S. Guantanamo Bay military prison have agreed to be transferred to Qatar, a move Afghanistan believes will boost a nascent peace process, President Hamid Karzai’s spokesman said on Saturday.

The transfer idea is part of U.S. efforts to bring the Taliban to the negotiating table to avoid prolonged instability in Afghanistan after foreign combat troops leave the country at the end of 2014.

“We are hopeful this will be a positive step towards peace efforts,” Karzai’s spokesman Aimal Faizi told Reuters, adding the Taliban detainees would be re-united with their families in Qatar if the transfer takes place.

It would be one of a series of good-faith measures that could set in motion the first substantial political negotiations on the conflict in Afghanistan since the Taliban government was toppled in 2001 in a U.S.-led invasion.

A year after it was unveiled, the Obama administration’s peace initiative may soon offer the United States a historic opportunity to broker an end to a war that began as the response to the September 11, 2001, al Qaeda attacks on the United States.

But the peace drive also presents risks for President Barack Obama.

He faces the potential for political fallout months before a presidential election, as his government considers backing an arrangement that would give some degree of power to the Taliban, known for their brutality and extreme interpretation of Islam.

Despite months of covert diplomacy, it remains unclear whether the prisoner transfer will go ahead.

Doubts are growing about whether the Taliban leadership is willing to weather possible opposition from junior and more hard-core members who appear to oppose negotiations.

Asked about the disclosure by Karzai’s office that the detainees were willing to be transferred, White House spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said: “The United States has not decided to transfer any Taliban officials from Guantanamo Bay.”

“We are not in a position to discuss ongoing deliberations or individual detainees, but our goal of closing Guantanamo is well established and widely understood,” she said. “In general, any decision to transfer a detainee from Guantanamo would be undertaken in accordance with U.S. law and in consultation with the Congress.”  (more >>>)

Koran suicide avenger kills 9 at Afghan airport

Maybe they need just one more White House apology. Yeah, that’ll do it.

Afghan protest

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — A suicide car bomber struck early Monday at the gates of Jalalabad airport in eastern Afghanistan, killing nine people in a large blast, officials said.

The Taliban said the attack on the airport, which serves both civilian and international military aircraft, was revenge for the burning of Muslim holy books at an American military base.

The attacker drove up to the gates of the airport shortly after dawn and detonated his explosives in a “very strong” blast, said Nangarhar provincial police spokesman Hazrad Mohammad.

Among the dead were six civilians, two airport guards and one soldier, Mohammad said. Another six people were wounded, he said.

An AP photographer saw at least four destroyed cars at the gates of the airport.

NATO forces spokesman Capt. Justin Brockhoff said that no international forces were killed in the early morning attack and that the installation was not breached by the blast.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, saying a suicide car bomber had driven up to the airport gate and detonated his explosives as international forces were changing from night to morning guard duty.

“This attack is revenge against those soldiers who burned our Quran,” Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in an email.

Taliban answers Obama’s apology with – “Kill them, beat them, take them as prisoners!”

Yet, nothing the Taliban does, says, or inspires will deter the Obama regime from “peace talks”.

Afghan, angry about the burning of Qurans, gather outside an American military base during an anti-U.S. demonstration in Mehterlam, Laghman province east of Kabul

(CNSNews.com) – In the wake of President Barack Obama sending a three-page letter to Afghan President Hamid Kharzai, apologizing for U.S. forces having mistakenly burned some Qur’ans at a U.S. air base in Afghanistan, the Taliban is calling on Muslims to kill Americans or beat them and take them as prisoners.

The call for violence against U.S. troops in Afghanistan came as Muslims in South Asia and elsewhere prepared for Friday prayers–a potentially volatile time.

Islamist groups in Pakistan, meanwhile, drummed up protests against the burning of the Qur’ans, with some leaders appealing for jihad against the United States.

Echoing incendiary calls by the Taliban for Muslims to react violently to the mishandling of the religious texts, militant leaders charged that the incident was a deliberate plot against Muslims.

Two U.S. troops and at least seven Afghans have been killed in three days of rioting in Afghanistan.

“We should not be satisfied with mere protests and empty slogans but the military bases of the invaders, their military convoys and their troops should become a target of our courageous attacks,” spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement directed to Taliban fighters and the “zealous and faithful people of Afghanistan.”

“Kill them, beat them, take them as prisoners and teach them such a lesson that they never summon the courage to abuse the Holy Qur’an again,” he said.

Taliban behead 4 men for having satellite phones

The Obama Administration, meanwhile, is desperately trying to hold “peace” talks with these savages.

AFP (h/t Weasel Zippers) – Taliban militants have beheaded four men for allegedly spying for the government in southern Afghanistan, an official said Tuesday.

The bodies of the men were discovered in Washer district of volatile Helmand province late on Sunday.

“The four men were civilians who were beheaded by Taliban for allegedly spying for government,” provincial spokesman Daud Ahmadi told AFP.

The Taliban had found satellite phones in the men’s possession and thought they were spies, he said, adding that mobile phones do not work in that district and it is normal for people to use satellite phones.

The militants, who have in the past used beheading as a punishment on alleged spies and traitors, were not immediately available for comment.

Pakistani Taliban fighters cut breasts off breastfeeding woman, demand other women eat the pieces

Islamic savages. Also, women in camps are forced to have sex in exchange for food and non-food items.

PTI (h/t Weasel Zippers) — Pakistani Taliban fighters cut the breasts of a woman who was breastfeeding her child and asked other women to eat the pieces, in a gory incident highlighted in a report on the abuse of women in the militancy-hit tribal belt bordering Afghanistan.

The incident occurred when five militants walked into a house and saw the woman breastfeeding her child, The Express Tribune quoted the report titled ‘Impact of crisis on women and girls in FATA’ as saying.

The report, released by the human rights organisation “Khwendo Kor” (Sisters’ Home in Pashto) with financial support from the UN, is based on case studies of women from the tribal belt living in camps set up in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa for people displaced by militancy.

Women in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas are more susceptible to abuse in a post-conflict scenario, whether or not they are part of the conflict, the report says.

Another revelation is that women in camps were forced to have sex in exchange for food and non-food items. Girls and widows were at greater risk of such abuse. Continue reading

Obama blesses Taliban with U.S. sponsored Qatar headquarters

The world's newest diplomats

So, I guess this means the Taliban is no longer to be considered a bunch of merciless, 7th century cutthroats; rather, a legitimate political party worthy of the full respect of the world’s most powerful leaders.

It’s quite normal for the new normal of Barack Hussein Obama’s post-American world view. Obama will not recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, but he will gladly recognize Qatar as the Taliban’s new headquarters. America has spent a decade chasing the Taliban from cave to cave, mountain to mountain, only to put them up (at our own expense, no doubt) in a plush office in Qatar. What’s next?

The Daily Mail – Talks to end the 10-year war in Afghanistan could be on the horizon after the U.S. backed a plan to let the Taliban open political headquarters in the Middle East.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is likely to open a base in Qatar before Christmas, The Times said.

Mullah Omar

It is hoped this will help facilitate peace talks which could lead to a truce with the Taliban.

Taliban supreme leader Mullah Mohammed Omar is understood to be backing the negotiations.

When the HQ is opened in the Qatari capital Doha, it will be the first time the Islamist group has been treated like a political party since it fell from power in 2001.

The Times said the Taliban wants to make sure its members are free from harassment and arrest whilst based in the city.

The Gulf state is believed to have agreed to let the group have a base after Washington decided that it should be located away from the influence of Pakistan.

Afghan villagers stone Taliban commander to death

The only hopeful news I’ve heard in years out Afghanistan.

(NYT) (h/t Weasel Zippers) — Angry villagers stoned to death a local Taliban commander and his bodyguard in southern Afghanistan Sunday after the militants killed a 60-year-old man accused of aiding the government, Afghan officials said.

It was a rare reversal of brutality aimed at the Taliban and, some Afghan officials believe, suggests a growing sense of security in an area where the insurgency has lost ground to NATO forces in the last two years. The stoning happened in the Nawa District of Helmand Province, a verdant agricultural area along the Helmand River Valley, now considered one of the safest places in the volatile south as a result of a heavy influx of American troops and aid dollars.

“People won’t tolerate the Taliban’s barbaric actions anymore,” said Dawoud Ahmadi, a spokesman for the governor of Helmand Province. “They will stand against them whenever they are harmed.”

The stoning occurred a day after insurgents in the northeastern province of Kunar stoned, hanged and shot two Afghan National Army soldiers returning from leave, Afghan officials said. The attacks were unrelated and happened far away from each other, but they underscored the grisly nature of the insurgency even as NATO officials say overall violence in the country is beginning to show a sustained downward trend for the first time in five years.

Team of 6 suicide bombers storm governor’s compound in Afghanistan, kill 22

If America fought in World War II the way we’ve fought every war since, we’d all be speaking either German or Japanese. We defeated the two biggest military machines the world had ever known in 6 years. After ten years in Afghanistan fighting a bunch of 7th century barbarians, we have nothing to show for it. Liberalism and its abiding political correctness destroys everything it touches, including the great U.S. military.

(AP) The Blaze — A team of six suicide bombers – some wearing explosive vests – stormed a provincial governor’s compound in eastern Afghanistan on Sunday, killing 22 people in the latest high-profile attack to target prominent Afghan government officials, authorities said.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack in the Parwan provincial capital of Charikar, some 30 miles (50 kilometers) north of Kabul. The province is home to Bagram Air Field, a sprawling base for U.S. and NATO troops.

The coordinated assault is the most recent in a string of spectacular Taliban attacks within an hour’s drive of Kabul – a worrying sign of the insurgency‘s strength near the heart of the country and its determination to target Afghanistan’s nascent leadership. (more >>>)

Taliban behead four civilians

Savages

Xinhua – (h/t Weasel Zippers) Taliban militants on Tuesday beheaded four civilians after their abduction in Farah province, 695 km west of Afghan capital Kabul, police said Wednesday.

“A group of armed Taliban rebels kidnapped four civilians in Balabluk district of Farah province on Tuesday on charges of cooperation with the government and beheaded them,” police spokesman in western region Abdul Rauf Ahmadi told Xinhua.

He stated all the four people beheaded by the Taliban were innocent civilians and had no link with the government.

Taliban kidnap, hang 8-year old son of local police commander

Every week we get more glimpses into the nightmare that Afghanistan will face upon Barack Obama’s ignominious retreat.

And just like Syria and every other country in the world where Islamic terror reigns, the UN, Western leaders, and the media will turn a blind eye to their handiwork.

Chennel 6 (h/t Gateway Pundit) - Suspected members of the Taliban on Friday hung the 8-year-old son of a local police commander in southern Afghanistan after ordering his father to surrender, according to a news report on Saturday.

The Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA) news agency reported that the young boy was kidnapped by militants in the Greshk district of Helmand province on Tuesday. They had ordered his father to surrender to the Taliban or else the boy would be executed.

“The militants had warned his father, who is a local police commander, to surrender with his police vehicle and weapons, otherwise they would kill his son,” provincial governor spokesman Daud Ahmadi told DPA. The boy was hung on Friday.

While child executions by the Taliban are not common, children often fall victim to Taliban militants when they carry out attacks. But children have also been used by the Taliban as suicide bombers.

On May 1, four civilians were killed and 12 others were injured when a 12-year-old suicide bomber blew himself up at a crowded market in eastern Afghanistan. The Taliban however have denied that they use children to carry out their attacks.

Taliban sleeper agent poisons 7 fellow policemen, then shoots them

Taliban Islamonazis

Good grief! If it seems that the Taliban has sleeper agents throughout the Afghani civil service and in the highest places of power, that is no doubt what the Taliban wants people to thing.

Last week, was the shocking assassination of Karzai’s brother by one of his own bodyguards. That was followed by another assassination, the brutal, merciless murder of 12 policemen, which they videotaped, and now this.

This story is particularly gruesome, as the victims no doubt believed that the man was a friend and comrade. Horrible. But, this is what we’re up against. All of these radical Islamists think the same way, and nothing, absolutely nothing, is beyond the pale for them. Unfortunately, it seems that few if any Western leaders either understand this enemy and the ideology that motivates them, or care to.

ADN Kronos reported, via ROP / GWP- A policeman in southern Afghanistan has killed seven of his colleagues by first giving them poison before shooting them dead.

The attack happened in Lashkargah, which is the capital of Helmand province, according to news reports.

The policemen were reportedly having lunch in their barracks when they were killed.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident, saying the killing was carried out by an agent working with the insurgency.

Afghanistan: Karzai’s brother assassinated at home by own bodyguard

Hmm…

According to most accounts right now, Ahmed Wali Karzai was killed by one of his own bodyguards. The man was then killed by other security guards. The Taliban has taken credit for the assassination, calling it one of their top achievements in 10 years of war. It is being suggested that the bodyguard was a sleeper agent of the Taliban.

The Obama Administration is in negotiations with the Taliban, looking for a way to cut and run. Unwilling to wage all out war on the terrorists, Obama wants to abandon the Afghan people to the mercy of the blood-thirsty terrorists.

Washington Post - The half-brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzai was assassinated by one of his security guards inside his house in Kandahar on Tuesday morning, witnesses and Afghan officials said, a political killing that will reverberate widely through the country and could destabilize a key region in the U.S. military’s campaign against the Taliban.

Ahmed Wali Karzai–head of Kandahar’s provincial council and widely considered the most powerful man in southern Afghanistan–had been meeting with tribal elders and politicians in his heavily fortified home in downtown Kandahar city when a security guard walked into his meeting room and requested a private discussion, according to two people at the house at the time.

Karzai and the guard left for another room, and shortly afterwards three gunshots rang out.

Agha Lalai Destegeri, the deputy provincial council chief, who had been meeting with Karzai Tuesday morning, said he heard the gunfire and rushed in to find Karzai shot in the head, chest and hand.

Karzai’s other guards entered the room and shot and killed the gunman. His entourage drove the bleeding Karzai a short distance across town to Mirwais Hospital but he did not survive, Destegeri and other Afghan officials said.

“He was the number-one man in Kandahar,” said Mir Wali Khan, a former parliament member from Helmand province who was at Karzai’s house at the time of the shooting. “We expect now the security of Kandahar will get worse, and the fighting among the tribes will grow stronger and stronger.” (more >>>)

Taliban training 5-year old Uyghurs boys to be Al Qaeda ‘martyrs’

Islam is anti-life. It knows only hate. If it were otherwise, there would be a half a billion ‘moderate’ Muslims doing everything possible to stop the ‘radicals’.

But they do absolutely nothing, which is tacit agreement. They do nothing because they don’t see their brothers as radicals in the least. They truly believe that unending jihad against the ‘infidel’ is what is demanded of them. It’s in the Koran.

(Daily Mail) — Baby-faced children aim AK-47 rifles as they train for war on British troops. They are being taught about combat even if they can barely hold the lethal weapons.

Shocking video shows toddlers as young as five being trained as ‘martyrs’ at a secret al-Qaeda camp. They are learning how to blow up buildings and mount roadside bomb attacks.

Footage shows children cheering as a toy police car is blown to pieces by a bomb after a youngster presses a button on a mobile phone.

The anxious youngsters — some dressed in camouflage uniform — are made to stand in line before being handed the rifles.

Militants are training hundreds of them to become killers in the camp based in North Waziristan before being sent across the border to face western troops.

The children come from families within the Turkic ethnic group of Uyghur people — Chinese Muslims who have fled and settled in Pakistan Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.

Bad as it sounds, no one should be surprised. After all, the Palestinians have been doing the same thing for twenty years. As I’ve said time and again, what begins with the Palestinian Islamonazis never ends with them. Hijackings, car bombs, suicide bombers, and using children, the handicapped, and even animals to wage terror are all Palestinian contributions to the world.

Kabul 5-star hotel reduced to 1 star after Taliban attack

It seems the Taliban didn’t get the message that Nakba-in-Chief Obama has announced that he is retreating from Afghanistan. It also appears that his negotiations with the Taliban have fared no better than they did with Iran.

NY Post - A standoff at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul ended tonight after some five hours of violence which saw as many as half a dozen suicide bombers storming the building and setting off explosions amid heavy gunfire.

Two NATO helicopters circling the luxury hotel identified three insurgents on the rooftop and an exchange of fire took place, FOX News Channel reported, citing International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) spokesman Tim James.

Explosions were seen on the roof and the trio were killed. All three insurgents were wearing suicide vests and it was not immediately clear if they were killed by their vests or by gunfire from the helicopters.

An interior ministry spokesman told AFP that six suicide bombers in total had been killed by security forces.

“The operation has just ended, all of them [the attackers] have been killed,” Siddiq Siddiqi said. “We believe at this stage it was six suicide bombers.”

An interior ministry spokesman told AFP that six suicide bombers in total had been killed by security forces.

“The operation has just ended, all of them [the attackers] have been killed,” Siddiq Siddiqi said. “We believe at this stage it was six suicide bombers.” (more >>>)

Muslim husband-wife team detonate themselves in Pakistan, kill 10

The couple that blows up together stays together!

Yes, this is the same Taliban with whom White flag waver-in-Chief Obama is negotiating ‘peace talks’.

AP (h/t Gateway Pundit) - The Pakistani Taliban said Sunday the group had sent a husband and wife suicide squad to carry out an attack on a police station in northwestern Pakistan that killed 10 people, a rare instance of militants using a woman as a bomber.

The pair entered the police station in Kolachi on Saturday and said they were there to lodge a complaint, said Imtiaz Shah, a senior police official. Once inside, the two attacked with grenades and machine guns, triggering a five-hour standoff with police.

Both attackers, including the woman wearing an all-covering robe known as a burqa, eventually blew themselves up. They killed eight police officers and two civilians, said Mohammad Hussain, another police official.

“This shows how much we hate Pakistani security institutions,” Pakistani Taliban spokesman Ahsanullah Ahsan told The Associated Press by telephone from an undisclosed location.

Ahsan claimed it was the first time the militant group had used a female suicide bomber.

However, Pakistani officials said a female suicide bomber wearing a burqa attacked a World Food Program food distribution center in northwestern Pakistan late last year, killing 45 people.

Florida imams arrested for supporting Taliban

As America’s Nakba-in-Chief, Barack Hussein Obama, prepares for his big ‘Muslims are the coolest’ speech next week, a.k.a. Cairo Vomit-inducer part II, will B. Hussein be mentioning these fine, outstanding imams and their friends?

“The defendants sought to aid the Pakistani Taliban’s fight against the Pakistani government and its perceived allies, including the United States, by supporting acts of murder, kidnapping, and maiming in Pakistan and elsewhere,” said the indictment released by the U.S. attorney’s office in Miami.

Or how about these fun-loving Muslims who were just picked up in New York for conspiring to blow up a few synagogues?

Miami (CNN) — Two South Florida imams and a third family member were arrested Saturday on charges of providing support to the Pakistani Taliban, the Justice Department said.

In addition, three others in Pakistan were also indicted on the same charges.

FBI agents arrested Hafiz Khan and his son Izhar Khan in South Florida, the department said. They are expected to make their initial court appearance in federal court on Monday.

Another of Hafiz Khan’s sons, Irfan Khan, was arrested in Los Angeles and will appear in court there.

Also charged are three Pakistani residents: Ali Rehman, Alam Zeb, and Amina Khan. Amina Khan is Hafiz Khan’s daughter, and Zeb is his grandson.

The four-count indictment alleges that all six defendants conspired to provide material support to a conspiracy to kill, injure and kidnap people abroad, and that they provided support to the Pakistani Taliban.

Hafiz Khan is the imam at Flagler Mosque in Miami. Izhar Khan, is an imam at the Jamaat Al-Mu’mineen Mosque in Margate, Florida.

“Despite being an imam, or spiritual leader, Hafiz Khan was by no means a man of peace. Instead, as today’s charges show, he acted with others to support terrorists to further acts of murder, kidnapping and maiming,” U.S. Attorney Wilfredo A. Ferrer said. “But for law enforcement intervention, these defendants would have continued to transfer funds to Pakistan to finance the Pakistani Taliban, including its purchase of guns.”
