NPR executives caught on tape being total weasels

NPR was busted in another James O’Keefe sting operation. The breaking video comes just a day after NPR Chief Executive Vivian Schiller defended taxpayer funding for public broadcasting and challenged critics to find any evidence of liberal bias in NPR’s coverage.

The video is rich in NPR snobbery and blatant anti-conservative and anti-Tea Party verbiage. To watch the video is to enter the puny, self-righteous, vindictive mind of the typical Liberal elitist.

What must be kept front and center in your mind when you watch this is that the NPR people knew exactly who they were dealing with – the Muslim Brotherhood. At least, that is who they thought they were dealing with. The NPR executives don’t bat an eye as the actors spew their anti-Semitism. After all, NPR thought this lunch date was going to bag them $5 million from the Brotherhood front group.

(Daily Caller via Weasel Zippers) — A man who appears to be a National Public Radio senior executive, Ron Schiller, has been captured on camera savaging conservatives and the Tea Party movement.

“The current Republican Party, particularly the Tea Party, is fanatically involved in people’s personal lives and very fundamental Christian — I wouldn’t even call it Christian. It’s this weird evangelical kind of move,” declared Schiller, who runs NPR’s foundation.

In a new video released Tuesday morning by conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe, Schiller and Betsy Liley, NPR’s director of institutional giving, are seen meeting with two men who, unbeknownst to the NPR executives, are posing as members of a Muslim Brotherhood front group. The men, who identified themselves as Ibrahim Kasaam and Amir Malik from the fictitious Muslim Education Action Center (MEAC) Trust, met with Schiller and Liley at Café Milano, a well-known Georgetown restaurant, and explained their desire to give to $5 million to NPR because, “the Zionist coverage is quite substantial elsewhere.”

On the tapes, Schiller wastes little time before attacking conservatives. The Republican Party, Schiller says, has been “hijacked by this group.” The man posing as Malik finishes the sentence by adding, “the radical, racist, Islamaphobic, Tea Party people.” Schiller agrees and intensifies the criticism, saying that the Tea Party people aren’t “just Islamaphobic, but really xenophobic, I mean basically they are, they believe in sort of white, middle-America gun-toting. I mean, it’s scary. They’re seriously racist, racist people.”

Schiller goes on to describe liberals as more intelligent and informed than conservatives. “In my personal opinion, liberals today might be more educated, fair and balanced than conservatives,” he said.  Keep reading…

Egypt: CBS News’ Lara Logan beaten, sexually assaulted by Democariah mob

CBS News’ Lara Logan was sexually assaulted and brutally beaten on Friday during the celebration of Mubarak’s ouster in Cairo.

This is horrible and despicable, yet nothing that doesn’t occur daily around the Muslim world. What happened to Ms. Logan, a mother of two, will be regular fare in the “new” Egypt. Not to reporters, but hundreds, maybe thousands, of faceless, nameless women without a microphone or a major corporation to comfort them.

(CBSNews) In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently in the hospital recovering.

This is a story worth investigating. Who were the women who “saved” her? Shouldn’t they be held up as heroes for the budding new democracy that promises ‘equal rights’ and all the other things we are told Egyptians are clamoring for?

Count me dubious. I don’t think they did anything but yell. Were they Muslim? Maybe they were Christian. Why shouldn’t we know? Far more realistically, it was indeed only because the 20 Mubarak soldiers interrupted the Arabs’ fun that her life was saved.

There will be no further comment from CBS News and correspondent Logan and her family respectfully request privacy at this time.

Understandable, considering the scope of the tragedy, but is it right?

Reporters believe everyone’s life is other people’s business. This is a major story, Lohan is a major public figure, a famed journalist, and the truth of the situation is not being made public. That seems somewhat hypocritical.

Worse, it only goes to further hide the truth behind the Democariah movement, the attitude of Arab Muslim men towards women, and towards the United States.

If Lara Logan is the intrepid reporter that we are told she is, and I do think she is a brave woman, then she should want to help the millions of other battered women throughout the Muslim world who regularly face the kind of attack she did.

Just sayin’…

But don’t look for anyone in the state-run media to look further into this. They are so invested in how wonderful Democariah is for Egypt and the Arab world, that they will never want to besmirch the narrative they have worked so hard to foment.

After all, as Legalinsurrection points out, just two days ago Roger Cohen writing in The New York Times delivered this bowl of slobber and slop:

In the Middle East you expect the worst. But having watched Egypt’s extraordinary civic achievement in building the coalition that ousted Mubarak, having watched Tahrir Square become cooperation central, and having watched the professionalism of the Egyptian army, I’m convinced the country has what it takes to build a decent, representative society — one that gives the lie to all the stereotypes associated with that dismissive shorthand “The Arab Street. In fact, post-Tahrir, let’s retire that phrase.”

Far from ‘retiring’ the phrase, Roger, how about some honest investigative reporting into why it came to be used in the first place. Just what is it about the “the Arab Street” that sends shudders down people’s spine? Lara Lohan got a taste of the real Arab Street, ask her about it.

And then we come to this contemptible shmuck, Nir Rosen. Rosen is a huge anti-American, anti-Israel Leftist apparatchik who writes for the Washington Post and  many other state-run media outlets. He openly mocked Lohan’s nightmare via Twitter, and intimated that the woman deserved what she got because she was a “war monger”.

(h/t Daily Caller) The initial tweet by Rosen stated, “Lara Logan had to outdo Anderson. Where was her buddy McCrystal.” From this tweet he went further, writing that he would have been amused if Anderson Cooper had also been sexually assaulted.

“Yes yes its wrong what happened to her. Of course. I don’t support that. But, it would have been funny if it happened to Anderson too,” wrote Rosen.

The two comments gave way to more. Rosen called Logan a “war monger” and expressed doubt that she was actually assaulted.

“Jesus Christ, at a moment when she is going to become a martyr and glorified we should at least remember her role as a major war monger” wrote Rosen.

“Look, she was probably groped like thousands of other women, which is still wrong, but if it was worse than [sic] I’m sorry.”

Because Rosen is a man of the Left, don’t expect any Lefties to attack him for his insensitivity and civility disobedience. Few will even report it. If, however, a center-right journalist had made similar comments, he’d be excoriated by the Liberal media and forced out of employment.

Ms. Lohan was not the first reporter to be attacked, though by the sounds of the others, hers was by far the worst. There were undoubtedly far more attacks and threats made on reporters in Egypt and other Arab countries during all these protests, but we will never hear of them. Because, remember, for the state-run media, it is Tea Party people who are the only protestors that anyone must fear.

Contemptible Obama

How is Barack Hussein Obama any different than most other dictators in the world, really? He lies as much as they do. He has the same disregard for the rule of law and the will of the people as they do.

And our pathetic media, how are they any different than that of the Pravda apparatchiks in the heyday of the Soviet Union?

Really.

Obama is in contempt of not just one but two federal court orders, and he doesn’t care, and neither does the media.

If George Bush were to have even thought about not complying with a federal court order, there would have been immediate calls for his impeachment by every Democrat and media outlet in the nation.

But in the new normal, no Democrat or Democrat affiliated person or group need ever worry about any law they break, or any persons they harm.

Obama has some 40 ‘czars’ doing his bidding, a rogue’s gallery of nameless, faceless, unelected bureaucrats creating thousands of pages of regulations no American will ever know about until he stumbles into one of their thousands of booby traps. And if any American dare question Obama’s authority, or that of any of his satraps, he or she is accused of racism or hate speech, or worst of all, being uncivil.

The government routinely changes the language and rules for how things are done, and the media nods enthusiastically along. Now we have “jobs saved or created”. No other President could have gotten away with such blatant manipulation of data. The Obama Administration lies about everything.

No number that comes out of his administration is to be believed – whether it be jobs and unemployment, inflation, debt and deficit, approval or disapproval of this or that. And the media dutifully, and unquestioningly goes along with it all.

Republicans in congress had better wake the hell up and start making noise, or there will be nothing left of the country for them to govern should they even get another chance.

Should Republicans regain control, they will not be allowed by the media to use the same metrics and language as Obama. Furthermore, all those stories the media loves to run about the homeless, jobless, starving and dying in the street masses that the media uses against every Republican president or congress will come rushing back. The Republican’s Mr. Nice Guy approach never gets them anything, why they haven’t learned this by now is a mystery

CNN Poll: 56% of Democrats are deranged

Have you ever noticed that it seems no matter what idiotic poll is taken, there is always a group of around 35% that inevitably sides with lunacy? an unhealthy percentage of hard-core, damn-the-facts Liberal drones?

Yes, well, enter yet another stupid media poll. (h/t Hotair) This time, CNN discovers that, essentially, 56 percent of Democrats think that Sarah Palin was responsible for certifiably insane Jared Loughner’s shooting spree.

How did Sarah Palin pull off this assassination attempt? Why, by months ago slying inserting into her Facebook post a midterm map with crosshairs targeting vague Democrat districts, that’s how. It was just sitting there, you see, buried deep into her Facebook like a roadside bomb, waiting for someone like Jared Loughner to step on it.

Democrats insist that Palin is the stupidest person on the planet, yet they also believe she is an evil genius. That’s how the Left’s mind works. They did the same to Reagan and Bush – insufferably, brain-dead stupid, but also Machiavellian geniuses!

Worse yet, 35 percent of the public, CNN claims, now believes that Palin’s map is not only linked to the killings, but that it actually bears some of the blame for Loughner’s murderous insanity. The pot calling the kettle black. For only an absolute moron could think such a thing.

That 35 percent includes, we are meant to believe, but I sure don’t, a large number of so-called Republicans and conservatives. Supposedly, even 12% of conservatives think the map bears a “great deal” of responsibility.

Uh-huh, sure.

No true conservative would be that stupid. However, that said, there are a lot of phony Republicans on the right who like to masquerade as conservatives and hate or are embarrassed by Sarah Palin because she can beat them up.

GOP eager to Strip Democrat propaganda machine NPR of Federal Funds

According to Byron York, chief political correspondent for The Washington Examiner, the new brigade of feisty Republicans in the House may be readying to take another stab at defunding the tax-payer supported Democrat apparatchiks at NPR.

He writes:

For years, Republicans have wanted to cut off federal funding for National Public Radio. They tried and failed in the 1990s, but now, with a new GOP majority in the House, they’re ready to try again. It’s still a long shot, but they have a fighting chance.

There are two reasons House Republicans are more optimistic than before: concern over federal spending and the lingering fallout from NPR’s decision to fire commentator Juan Williams.

[...] NPR says it receives little of its $166 million annual budget from the federal government. (Most comes from corporations, foundations and individuals.) “NPR receives less than 2 percent annually, on average, from government grants,” NPR president Vivian Schiller said last November. Two percent of $166 million would be a bit more than $3 million.

“I think it’s a lot higher than that,” says Lamborn, who believes NPR’s federal take is in the tens of millions of dollars. “But if we take them at their word and it’s only 2 percent, then they really have nothing to fear. Pretty much any institution out there could do a 2 percent cut, if they were forced to, and survive — even thrive.”

York goes on to say, “That has led NPR to accuse Lamborn of interfering with freedom of the press.”

That’s rich, coming from the same people who back the nefarious Fairness Doctrine, legislation whose sole purpose is to rid conservatives from the airwaves.

With NPR having made Goebbels and Liberals proud for decades, cutting government funding to this favorite and successful propaganda machine will surely cause roars of outrage and indignation from their servile listeners. After all, Liberals believe they are entitled to special treatment at tax-payer expense. Conning government and tax-payers into funding their undoing of America is something Liberals excel in. They do it through the Departments of re-Education, less-Energy, Labor-unions, and a whole slew of other foul and needless kudzu-planting bureaucracies. The peeling back must begin somewhere, and stripping NPR may be as good a place as any.

Tom Brokaw commits “blood libel” against the entire state of Arizona

Tom Brokaw on MSNBC’S “Morning Jo’ke” insinuated that the people of Arizona are all a bunch of violent, drunken hicks who shoot and kill anyone like him who steps into one the State’s bars on a Saturday night. Broken-jaw said, “I would be nervous about going into a bar or restaurant in Arizona on a Saturday night where people can carry concealed without permits.”

Clearly, he is inciting hatred and fear of the people of Arizona. Blood libel, anyone?

Yet another example of the effete pantywaists that make up the new normal. Millions of people leave Arizona bars every year without the assistance of an ambulance, Tom. But if you’re that scared, I’m sure Sarah Palin would be happy to escort you.

Question: How is what Brokaw said that different from what got Juan Williams fired from NPR when Juan said, “When I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.“?

“Gun control is too simple a phrase to define all the complications and nuances of it, frankly. In Arizona they have a wide open system. Rasmussen: Americans not nearly as stupid as Democrats think

A new Rasmussen poll shows that only 28% of Americans are complete morons who believe that the tragic slayings in Tucson was anything but the handiwork of a random nutcase.

Even Democrats by a 48% to 37% margin agree that the killings were inspired by lunacy, and not ‘a climate of hate’, as most state-run media outlets tried so desperately to portray the story.

This bodes ill for the Democrat party, for whom more and more Americans are becoming convinced is little more than a conglomeration of socialists, Marxists, environmentalcases, and other radical, self-hating Americans, cranks, and weirdos. Moreover, the poll demonstrates that the American people see their mainstream media as nothing more than a mouthpiece of the Democrat Party, and hold them with contempt.

Nor does this poll augur happy days ahead for Pima County Sheriff Dupnik, the dupidest sheriff in the west, who volunteered himself to be the poster child for Democrat vindictiveness and hypocrisy. 2011 could prove to be a most knotty year for Sheriff Dupe-nik, as questions are raised regarding the psychopath, Jared Loughner, about ‘what Dupnik knew and when he knew it‘. Something tells me that come the next election for Pima County Sheriff, Dupnik will find himself losing the badge he did so much to disgrace.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 28% of Adults say the shooting in Arizona was the result of political anger in the country. Fifty-eight percent (58%) say instead that it was a random act of violence by an unstable person. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Sixty-eight percent (68%) of Republicans and 56% of adults not affiliated with either of the major political parties view the shooting as a random act of violence. Even Democrats by a 48% to 37% margin agree, although leading members of their party have attributed the shootings to a climate of anger they say has been generated by opponents of President Obama.

Real sheriff Arpaio vs. hack sheriff Dupnik

Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has had unprecedented approval ratings from the people of Maricopa County, Arizona, for most of the past 18 years, responded on O’Reilly to the hypocrisy of the dupidist sheriff in the west, Sheriff Clarence Dupnik of Pima County. Dupnik has accused right-wing media, and especially Rush Limbaugh, of inciting violence and being the underlining cause of pot-smoking, Marx-reading, flag-burning, leftist lunatic Loughner’s heinous and merciless rampage.

In the interview, Arpaio speaks about how he receives death threats almost daily, and how he and his men are constantly menaced by Democrats.

Yet, he points out, that Dupnik – who knew very well what the Left was doing to Arpaio – never said a word about it. Likewise, neither has anyone in the mainstream media. The media has never expressed a drop of outrage at the actions of the radicals whom they know try to terrorize Arpaio.

But, unlike Dupe-nik, Sheriff Arpaio is a mensch and shrugs it off. He understands the new normal and the hypocrisy which flourishes in it. He says it all goes with the job, and that he doesn’t care. “I’m going to continue to work hard. They can put that in their pipes and smoke it.”

Sheriff Democrat Dupe-nik: the dupidest sheriff in the west

Sheriff Democrat Dupe-nik has been busy disgracing his badge, his county, his State, and the American people. Sheriff Clarence Dupnik of Pima County, Arizona, has put himself front and center with his baseless accusations about people like Rush Limbaugh while making a stink about hate speech.

Naturally, long-time journalist hack, Tom Brokaw, was one of the first out the gate to applaud Dupe-nik and offer him encouragement. As Newsbusters reports:

…Brokaw thought officials have been “timid” in their criticism of violent political speech, in the wake of Saturday’s shooting. “The Pima County Sheriff is not,” he continued. “He is speaking out, and too few others have because they’re worried about retribution.”

Call me 'the Dupe' for short.

Sheriff Democrat Dupe-nik may well be shooting himself in the foot. Some are rightly wondering, ‘what did Dupnik know, and when did he know it?’

What sheriff records of young, demented, flag-burning, Leftist and pothead, Jared Loughner, might Dupnik be aware of. After all, Dupnik admitted that Loughner had made prior death threats against some other, unnamed person. James Taranto, of The Wall Street Journal has raised his eyebrow on Hannity.

“I’d like to make one additional point on Sheriff Dupnik. I think we’re missing the point when we’re talking about his political agenda. This man and this suspect has had previous contact with the sheriff’s office. It looks to me, we don’t have many details on this, but it looks as though he slipped between the cracks. I think what we really need to look into is what happened when he had previous contact with the sheriff’s office with their negligence here. And, I think the sheriff is trying to distract from that question.”

At a site called Cholla Jumps comes this accusation:

Jared Loughner has been making death threats by phone to many people in Pima County including staff of Pima Community College, radio personalities and local bloggers. When Pima County Sheriff’s Office was informed, his deputies assured the victims that he was being well managed by the mental health system. It was also suggested that further pressing of charges would be unnecessary and probably cause more problems than it solved as Jared Loughner has a family member that works for Pima County.

Blogger Doug Ross breaks the story down. After establishing the connections, he says, “The question arises, in part because of the sheriff’s odd behavior: did the fact that one or both parents worked in local government allow them to “pull strings” to protect a troubled child?”

Hmm…

He concludes with, “Perhaps some “professional journalists” could actually “investigate” this matter if they could take time away from inventing new lies about Sarah Palin.”

Sorry, Doug, but that would mean actually having to earn their bloated salaries.

 

Jared Loughner

Meanwhile, a friend of Loughner’s, Bryce Tierney, opened up and gave an interview about his pal, confirming again that Loughner was a very troubled fellow who was obsessed with Giffords since 2007 when he met the congresswoman at a rally.

But while little useful can be said about the murders themselves, the rush to narrative of our dishonest and increasingly desperate leftist media does have to be addressed. The Left—which has been unable to discover any common feature uniting acts of Islamist violence worldwide—nonetheless instantly noticed a bridge between the Tucson shooting and its own political opponents. The Chicago Sun-Times ran a slavering editorial blaming “the right.” MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann and theWashington Post’s Eugene Robinson suggested that the killings were inspired by right-wing rhetoric. Politico’s Roger Simon did the same.

After the Ft. Hood shooting, Chris Matthews went out of his way to find reasons other than radical Islam for the shooting. And he had a representative of CAIR on his show for the express purpose of keeping people from jumping to conclusions about the Muslims.

Today, in stark contrast, Mr. Matthews assigned motive and direct cause for the Tucson shooting (on the right).

To round off the coverage, Atlas Shrug’s Pamella Geller, published her own exposé reminder of the Left’s long, filthy, and sordid love affair with hate – The Face of Hate. She includes many photos and remarks that the state-run media either forgot or entirely ignored. Usually the latter.

The final word goes to Rush Limbaugh, who, along with Sarah Palin, has been most singled out by the Leftist state-run media for attack.

 

Jared Loughner’s ‘altar’ ego – the mainstream media

I don’t know about you, but every pot-head person I know who favorites Marx and Mein Kampf, enjoys burning the American flag, and has a grisly, skull-adorned altar in the tent of his backyard – votes Democrat.

The very last person these people I know would take marching orders from is Sarah Palin.

A safe at Mr. Loughner’s home contained a form letter from Ms. Giffords’ office thanking him for attending a 2007 “Congress on your Corner” event in Tucson. The safe also held an envelope with handwritten notes, including the name of Ms. Giffords, as well as “I planned ahead,” “My assassination,” and what appeared to be Mr. Loughner’s signature, according to an FBI affidavit.

Now, we have Democrats introducing a bill this week in another attempt to rape the US Constitution. Rep. Robert Brady (D-PA) will introduce legislation this week that will criminalize inflammatory language. Gee, if it were to pass, would Obama have to resign?

The execrable Paul Krugman of the NY Slimes pointed to a map Sarah Palin posted on her Facebook page that targeted Democrat districts for action.

Krugman wrote:

…All of this goes far beyond politics as usual…you’ll search in vain for anything comparably menacing, anything that even hinted at an appeal to violence, from members of Congress, let alone senior party officials….to find anything like what we’re seeing now you have to go back to the last time a Democrat was president.

Verum Serum proves that Krugman knows even less about bloggers than he does economics, and that’s saying something. Verum found a few items. Here are two:

But don’t expect Krugman to retract his idiotic statements. Krugman never apologizes or admits he’s wrong. If he did, that’s all he would do every day.

Nor will Krugman debate anyone who disagrees with anything he says. As an economist he’s a laughing stock, and there is a line of economists as great as that at the unemployment office who would pay handsomely for the chance to debate him and his loser policies – but he ignores them all. Just like Al Gore refuses to debate his critics. This is what the Liberal elite do. These chuckleheads propose, and we are supposed to just nod along and assume they are geniuses.

Tucson tragedy: Liberal media hits 49th level of depravity – digs

Just when you think Democrats can get no lower, they always surprise you with a new level of turpitude. The heinous, cold-blooded murders carried out by 22 year-old Jared Loughner continue to be blamed on conservatives and Tea Party people. The proven falseness of the claims is being completely ignored by the Obama media machine.

Over at Gateway Pundit, there is a continual updating of the situation, and the growing record of journalistic malpractice involved in the story’s coverage.

Among the outrages was that carried out by ABC. ABC interviewed a friend of Loughner, Caitlin Parker. She was the gal who tweeted yesterday that Loughner was “far left” and “quite liberal.” ABC, purposely avoided questioning her about this.

Ed Morrissey over at Hotair.com details the blatant hypocrisy of CNN. Quoting Byron York of the Washington Examiner, they return to the slaughter at Fort Hood and recall how CNN urged viewers not to jump to any conclusions, that what occurred there might have been a terrorist act, and that Major Nidal Hasan’s religious beliefs could have played any part. Well, we know how that turned out.

Yet,

“…as York notes, the same people who insisted in November 2009 that people should not rush to judgment about the potential connection of radical Islam to the Fort Hood shooting practically broke legs trying to tie an apparent paranoid schizophrenic who hailed Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto to Sarah Palin.”

But it gets worse, much worse. The Politico, a left of center website of professional journalists, reported a discussion it held with Democrat operatives:

One veteran Democratic operative, who blames overheated rhetoric for the shooting, said President Barack Obama should carefully but forcefully do what his predecessor did.

“They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers,” said the Democrat. “Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people.”

Another Democratic strategist said the similarity is that Tucson and Oklahoma City both “take place in a climate of bitter and virulent rhetoric against the government and Democrats.”

This Democrat said that the time had come to insist that Republicans stand up when, for example, a figure such as Fox News commentator Glenn Beck says something incendiary.

Morrissey and York go on and describe a number of other hypocrisies, if not down right disinformation. It is well-worth reading, if you are interested.

Another piece to read is that of Roger Kimball at Pajamasmedia. He rightly takes the despicable Paul Krugman to task, writing:

Loughner’s pistol was probably still warm when Krugman wheeled into print in an effort to make political capital out of the tragedy.  “Assassination Attempt in Arizona” should join that rogues’ gallery of disgusting Times stories that wallow in the gutter of political innuendo and mendacity even as they preen themselves on their exhibition of holier-than-thou virtue.

This is all quite frightening, to say the least. There is a deliberate attempt coming from some of the highest places in media and the Democrat party to demonize the right. As Obama’s Rahm Emmanuel famously liked to say, “never let a crisis go to waste.”

But none of this should come as any surprise to anyone who has been observing the way Democrats and the mainstream media regularly operate.

Furthermore, as the Left bleats on and on about the tenor and tone of the right, let us recall Barack Obama’s own mellifluous voice, shall we? Here are a few choice reminders via Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit.

Sad to say, but this story is only going to get worse. However, it is vitally important that Republicans and those on the right do not summit to these attacks. No whining. No simpering. They must take the offensive and slap down each and every accusation that comes their way. The media is dying to use this story to bludgeon them, and make them cower in fear. The right has absolutely nothing to apologize for. Loughner was a crackpot and a man of the Left. The evidence for this is overwhelming.

The Left plays for keeps. Nothing, absolutely nothing is too vile for them to attempt. They want to discredit the Tea Party and the new Republican House in the eyes of the gullible. Will they succeed? No, they won’t. The only success they might have is in hardening the divide in the country that they already forged.

Liberal media blames conservatives for Democrat shot by Leftist

A horrible tragedy occurs in Tucson, AZ, and within hours, all the usual suspects like Jane Fonda, Paul Krugman, Keith Olbermann, the Leftist blogs, and the entire state-run media are blaming conservatives, the Tea Party, anyone associated with conservatives and the Tea Party, and especially, Sarah Palin.

This tragic event demonstrates, as if we needed any more evidence, that America is almost irreparably divided.

22-year-old Jared Loughner was not, and never was a conservative. There is absolutely no evidence of him being a conservative in any way.

All the evidence regarding his political and philosophical views, evidence which is flowing fast and furious now, suggests that the guy was a) a mental case, and b) a Leftist. One need go no further than to Loughner’s own YouTube page to understand this. The guy is a nut.

I’m not interested in his psychological make up. You can count on the media to spend the next week bringing out all their ‘experts’ to tell us how and why he did what he did. And they will all be wrong. They will put all of America on their couch while they are at it, and declare Americans clinically insane. They’d get that one half right.

It’s abundantly clear by the insane rampage on the Left and their rabid desire to blame the right without a shred of evidence, that it is the entire Left who is in need of psychiatric help. The kook Left was angry at Gabrielle Giffords for not voting for Nancy Pelosi as speaker. To many on the Left, she had sold them out.

The Arizona Daily Star, certainly not a right of center paper, has a good initial story on the guy. It describes a warped guy with a lot of baggage.

…The online accounts also contain bizarre discussions of a new currency and literacy, as well as threatening and despairing messages.

“WOW! I’m glad i didn’t kill myself. I’ll see you on National T.v.! This is foreshadow …. why doesn’t anyone talk to me?..” he posted on MySpace Dec. 14.

On Dec. 13, he wrote: “I don’t feel good: I’m ready to kill a police officer! I can say it.”

In a posting on YouTube, Loughner wrote repeatedly about a new currency.

“I’m thinking of creating a new currency,” he wrote. “Therefore, I’m thinking of a design for my new coins size, shape, color, material, and image to start a new money system.”

He also wrote repeatedly about literacy. In a written message on YouTube, Loughner said: “The majority of people, who reside in District-8 are illiterate – hilarious. I don’t control your English grammar structure, but you control your English grammar structure.”

In a message posted on his MySpace account, titled “Goodbye friends,” Loughner said: “Dear friends…please don’t be mad at me. The literacy rate is below 5%. I haven’t talked to one person who is literate.” It was unclear when it was posted.

In a MySpace profile, Loughner said “My favorite interest was reading, and I studied grammar. Conscience dreams were a great study in college.”

He lists among his favorite books “Mein Kampf” and “The Communist Manifesto”. But he also includes a broad variety of other titles, including: “Animal Farm,” “Brave New World,” “To Kill a Mockingbird,” and “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”.

In another YouTube message, Loughner said: “I know who’s listening: Government Officials, and the People. Nearly all the people, who don’t know this accurate information of a new currency, aren’t aware of mind control and brainwash methods. If I have my civil rights, then this message wouldn’t have happen.”

“In conclusion, my ambition – is for informing literate dreamers about a new currency; in a few days, you know I’m conscience dreaming! Thank you!”

In a YouTube video dated Dec. 15, titled “Introduction: Jared Loughner” the accused gunman describes himself as a U.S. military recruit who had applied to join the Army. The Army, however, said it rejected Lougher as a recruit in 2008.

In the video, Loughner makes a rambling mention of “MEPS in Phoenix” a reference to the Military Entrance Processing Station in the state capital that all Arizona recruits from every branch of service pass through before leaving for basic training.

“Every United States military recruit at MEPS in Phoenix is receiving one mini bible before the tests,” it said. “Jared Loughner is a United States military recruit at MEPS in Phoenix. Therefore, Jared Loughner is receiving one mini bible before the tests.

“I didn’t write a belief on my Army application and the recruiter wrote on the application: None.”

First Sgt. Brian Homme, who oversees Army recruiting in Tucson, said Loughner applied to enlist in December 2008 and was sent to Phoenix to take a test and physical. But “he was found to be unqualified so he never joined the Army,” Homme said.

He declined to say why Loughner was rejected, citing confidentiality laws.

Good grief, what kind of guy lists Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto as their favorite books? To say you’ve read them is one thing, but single them out as favorites?

So, we have his YouTube account, his web postings, the word of people who knew him, and his history, and nothing about him being a conservative or a member of the Tea Party. These tweets are from someone who knew Jared Loughner.

What he comes off as, is a Leftist of the punk-anarchist-pseudo-intellectual sort. But, again, I’ll leave his fevered brain to others to diagnose.

It is the media, and the Liberal Left where the real lunacy lies. We have so-called mainstream, establishment Democrats running to the mike and tapping away at their keyboards accusing conservatives of a vile crime before they knew a single fact in the case. This is what is most disturbing.

The Left is behind most all the non-Islamic violence going on in the world. Just glance across the pond to Europe, where armies of Jared Loughner-types have been rampaging in the streets for the past year. The American Left is no different.

As America wrestles with this latest trauma, may we not forget the other victims of this lunatic’s hand. Real people with real lives were demolished in an instant by a deranged 22 year-old looking for attention, or G-d knows what.

Lockstep Lib media freaks out over Republican’s threat to repeal Obamacare

Newsbusters put together a collage of Liberal state-run media faux journalists upset that Republicans are working to get rid of socialist Obamacare.

They are really indignant that the newly-elected Republicans – who won in a rout – actually plan to do what voters asked them to do.

Indignant, but mostly scared poopless that the Tea Party-fueled Republican congress is going to make their Democrat masters look like the miserable socialists-slash-Marxists that they truly are. It’s going to be a fun two years.

In the new normal, no one can be so disgraced that some news outlet won’t try to help him or her resuscitate his career. Disgraced Eliot Spitzer gets a TV show on CNN, and despicable Leftist, Helen Thomas, gets a new gig writing columns for The Falls Church News-Press.

Predictably, the NY Slimes refers to her belly flop into the anti-Semitic mud as “a stumble”, and are rooting for her to deliver more journalistic professionalism, like her telling Jews “to get the hell out of Palestine” and “go back to Europe.”

Helen Thomas is 90 years-old. And since it seems that old Leftist hate-mongers never die, she may well outlive her foes and reclaim her prized, front-row seat at the White House press meetings in the end. In the new normal, hating Israel and coddling Palestinians will always be seen as a resume enhancer.
