Ahmadinejad: “Tumor” of Israel will soon be destroyed

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton seen nodding in approval.

TEHRAN — Israel is a “cancerous tumour” that will soon be finished off, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday told demonstrators holding an annual protest against the existence of the Jewish state.

“The Zionist regime and the Zionists are a cancerous tumour. Even if one cell of them is left in one inch of (Palestinian) land, in the future this story (of Israel’s existence) will repeat,” he said in a speech in Tehran marking Iran’s Quds Day that was broadcast on state television.

“The nations of the region will soon finish off the usurper Zionists in the Palestinian land…. A new Middle East will definitely be formed. With the grace of God and help of the nations, in the new Middle East there will be no trace of the Americans and Zionists,” he said.

[...] Ahmadinejad, in his speech, claimed that “Zionists” triggered the first and second world wars, and had “taken control over world affairs since the moment they became dominant over the US government.”

He asserted that major governments, banks and media were in thrall to a Zionist cabal whose aim was to “destroy the cultures, values and sovereignty of nations.”

Video: Syrian rebels capture 48 Iranian Revolutionary Guards

Iran claims they are just “pilgrims.” Who in their right mind would make a pilgrimage to a major war zone?

American Thinker – Initially, Iran told the world that the 48 were “religious pilgrims.” But members of the Free Syrian Army who have claimed responsibility for holding them says they’re members of the elite Revolutionary Guards.

New York Times:

“They are Iranian thugs who were in Damascus for a field reconnaissance mission,” said a rebel leader, in a video that the rebels said showed the captives sitting calmly behind armed Syrian fighters. In the video, the rebels flipped through what they said were Iranian identification cards and certificates for carrying weapons, proving, the rebels said, that the hostages were not religious pilgrims.

The identities and motives of the captives could not be independently verified, and some rebel groups have not embraced the kidnapping or the theory laid out by the fighters in the video. Col. Malik al-Kurdi, a deputy commander of the Free Syrian Army – one of several competing umbrella groups involved in the fighting – said the brigade taking responsibility for the kidnapping appeared to have been acting on its own and did not tell the Free Syrian Army about the operation.

Iranian officials said the kidnapped Iranians were pilgrims, denying that any of them were members of the Revolutionary Guards, Iran’s Arabic-language channel Al Alam reported Sunday, quoting an unnamed government spokesman. On Saturday, Iran’s foreign minister, Ali Akbar Salehi, contacted the Syrian and Turkish foreign ministries, asking them to secure the release of the 48 Iranians.

In a statement, the Iranian Embassy in Damascus said that the abducted Iranians had traveled to Syria using a “private” tour company for a pilgrimage to the Shiite shrine of Sayyida Zeinab in the southeastern suburbs of Damascus, which is a mile or two from where fierce fighting has been raging in the neighborhood of Tadamon. While the video clip of the abducted Iranians showed only men, Iranian state news media said that women and children were also among those taken by the Syrian rebels.

So which is it, Rev Guards or pilgrims? It would not be beyond the Iranians to use the cover of a religious pilgrimage to smuggle members of the Quds force into Syria — even using women and children as part of the scheme. And there have been documented instances of Iranian fighters assisting in the crackdown.

But the rebels have been wont to make wild claims, so their credbility is barely better than the Iranian government. If they are members of the Quds force, it shows that Iran is about to take a more active role in the Syrian civil war. This would be in keeping with the Iranian statement that they will not let President Assad fall.

An Iranian entry into the war would be just about as bad as it gets from the standpoint of spreading the conflict to other nations.

Israel US ambassador, Michael Oren: Iran behinds deadly cross-border attack

But don’t worry, according to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, Iran, Egypt, and Hamas are nothing to get excited about. Nothing handing Jerusalem over to the terrorists wouldn’t cure.

Times of Israel – Iran was behind Sunday’s deadly cross-border incident in the south, Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Michael Oren, said late Sunday night.

Using social networking platform Twitter, Oren called the perpetrators of the attack, which left 16 Egyptian soldiers dead, “Iranian backed terrorists” who also wished to “massacre Israeli civilians.”

After shooting the Egyptian soldiers and commandeering two Egyptian military vehicles, the gunmen attempted to cross the border into Israel, but were stopped by the army and air force. The vehicles were destroyed and all the terrorists are believed to have been killed.

In a later tweet, Oren praised the IDF for its swift response to the incident and wrote that “the thwarted attack underscores the length to which the extremist regime in Iran will attempt to kill innocent Israelis.”

Israel has blamed Iran for being behind the Burgas bombing in Bulgaria last month, which claimed the lives of five Israelis and their Bulgarian bus driver. Intelligence officials also blame Iran for planning a series of terrorist attacks against Israelis over the last two years, many times using proxies, such as Hezbollah.

Last week, Indian police concluded that Iran was behind the February bomb attack in New Delhi against Israeli Embassy workers, which seriously injured Tal Yehoshua Koren, wife of the Israeli military attaché in India.

Iran claims upgraded short-range ballistic missile with pinpoint accuracy

Courtesy of Obama Administration foot-dragging. Give the Obama Administration another 4 years and Iran will advance twice as far.

Israel Hayom – Iran claimed Saturday it has successfully test-fired an upgraded version of a short-range ballistic missile with improved accuracy, increasing the Islamic Republic’s capability to strike both land and naval targets.

Defense Minister Gen. Ahmad Vahidi said the solid-fueled Fateh-110 has a range of 300 kilometers (185 miles). He claimed the weapon could strike with pin-point precision, making it the most accurate weapon of its kind in Iran’s arsenal.

“By reaching this generation of the Fateh-110, a new capability has been added to our armed forces in striking sea and land targets,” state TV quoted Vahidi as saying. “Few countries in the world possess the technology to build such missiles.”

Iran’s military leaders have said they believe future wars will be air- and sea-based and Tehran has sought to upgrade its air defense systems and naval power in anticipation of such a possibility.

Iran has also been pushing to upgrade its missiles, which already can target Israel and U.S. bases in the Middle East. The Pentagon released a report in June noting significant advances in Iranian missile technology, acknowledging that the Islamic republic has improved the accuracy and firing capabilities of its missiles.

The Fateh-110, or Conqueror, is a single-stage solid-propellant, surface-to-surface missile put into service in 2002. The earlier version of the domestically-produced missile had a range of 200 kilometers (120 miles). The weapon was developed by Iran’s Aerospace Industries Organization.

Iran also has a variety of longer-ranged missiles including a Shahab-3 variant with a range of 2,000 kilometers (1,200 miles) that can reach Israel and southern Europe. Many of its missiles could in theory carry a nuclear warhead.

Ahmadinejad calls again for the annihilation of Israel

Obama and Panetta say what we need is another decade of meaningless, futile sanctions. Any rational person would say, what we need is a bunker buster up Ahmadinejad’s ass.

Ahmadinejad said that a “horrible Zionist current” had been managing world affairs for “about 400 years … Anyone who loves freedom and justice must strive for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the way for world justice and freedom.”

The guys is certifiable, but those who continue to ignore him – the entire leadership of the free world – is more pathetic than this whack-job.

Jerusalem Post – In a speech published on his website Thursday, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the ultimate goal of world forces must be the annihilation of Israel.

Speaking to ambassadors from Islamic countries ahead of ‘Qods Day’ (‘Jerusalem Day’), an annual Iranian anti-Zionist event established in 1979 by Ayatollah Khomeini and which falls this year on August 17, Ahmadinejad said that a “horrible Zionist current” had been managing world affairs for “about 400 years.”

Repeating traditional antisemitic slurs, the Iranian president accused “Zionists” of controlling the world’s media and financial systems.

It was Zionists, he said, who were “behind the scene of the world’s main powers, media, monetary and banking centers.”

“They are the decision makers, to the extent that the presidential election hopefuls [of the USA] must go and kiss the feet of the Zionists to ensure their election victory,” he added.

Ahmadinejad added that “liberating Palestine” would solve all the world’s problems, although he did not elaborate on exactly how that might work.

“Qods Day is not merely a strategic solution for the Palestinian problem, as it is to be viewed as a key for solving the world problems,” he said.

He added: “Anyone who loves freedom and justice must strive for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the way for world justice and freedom.”

The Iranian president said that Israel reinforced “the dominance of arrogant powers in the region and across the globe” and that Arab countries in particular – he cited Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, Syria and Turkey – were affected by Israel’s “plots.”

Ahmadinejad, who has called the Holocaust a myth, has previously called for Israel’s annihilation, in a 2005 speech in which he used a Persian phrase that translates literally as “wiped off the page of time.”

NYPD says Iran or proxies involved in 9 plots against Israeli or Jewish targets around the world so far this year

Ahmadinejad will get his.

Via Weasel Zippers

LONDON (Reuters) – New York police believe Iranian Revolutionary Guards or their proxies have been involved so far this year in nine plots against Israeli or Jewish targets around the world, according to restricted police documents obtained by Reuters.

Reports prepared this week by intelligence analysts for the New York Police Department (NYPD) say three plots were foiled in January, three in February and another three since late June. Iran has repeatedly denied supporting militant attacks abroad.

The documents, labeled “Law Enforcement Sensitive,” said that this week’s suicide bomb attack in Bulgaria was the second plot to be unmasked there this year.

The reports detail two plots in Bangkok and one each in New Delhi, Tbilisi, Baku, Mombasa and Cyprus. Each plot was attributed to Iran or its Lebanese Hezbollah militant allies, said the reports, which were produced following the bombing in Burgas, Bulgaria of a bus carrying Israeli tourists.

Iran on Thursday dismissed “unfounded statements” by Israel linking Tehran to the Burgas blast, saying they were politically motivated accusations which underscored the weakness of the accusers.

Ahmadinejad gloats over Bulgaria bombing, hints at responsibility

Ahmadinejihad will get his in time.

Times of Israel – Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gloated publicly on Thursday over the deaths of Israelis in a terror bombing in Bulgaria, and hinted that Iran was responsible for the attack.

Speaking hours after Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had publicly blamed the bombing Wednesday at Bulgaria’s Burgas airport on “Hezbollah, directed by Iran,” Ahmadinejad described the attack as “a response” to Israeli “blows against Iran.”

“The bitter enemies of the Iranian people and the Islamic Revolution have recruited most of their forces in order to harm us,” he said in a speech reported by Israel’s Channel 2 TV. “They have indeed succeeded in inflicting blows upon us more than once, but have been rewarded with a far stronger response.”

He added: “The enemy believes it can achieve its aims in a long, persistent struggle against the Iranian people, but in the end it will not. We are working to ensure that.

Ahmadinejad’s speech was interpreted in Israel as asserting that the Burgas bombing was a revenge attack for the killing of Iranian nuclear scientists, for which Iran has repeatedly blamed Israel.

7 dead, 32 injured after attack on Israeli tour bus at Bulgaria airport – 18th anniversary of Iranian-led bombing of Argentina Jewish center

Savages.

The attack occured on the 18th anniversary of the attack on a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires.

Jerusalem Post – Seven people were killed and 32 injured when a bomb exploded on an Israeli tourist bus at the airport of the Bulgarian city of Burgas on Wednesday, the 18th anniversary of the Iran-sponsored attack on the AMIA Jewish center in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Six of the victims died on the spot, and the seventh in the hospital following the attack, Bulgarian officials confirmed. Two of the victims were said to be Bulgarian — the bus driver and tour guide.

The bus was carrying 42 Israeli tourists who landed in Bulgaria at a 4:45 p.m for a vacation in Sunny Beach. Two adjacent buses were also damaged in the blast.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman spoke with his Bulgarian counterpart Nikolay Mladenov in relation to the explosion.

Mladenov was heading to the site of the blast and said that he would bring Liberman up to date when he arrives.

Liberman called for an immediate meeting at the Foreign Ministry’s situation room to discuss the issue with the relevant bodies.

The Israeli embassy in Bulgaria was also investigating the explosion.

ZAKA and MDA rescue services in Israel were preparing delegations to fly to Bulgaria.

In January, a suspicious package found on a bus carrying Israeli tourists from Turkey to Bulgaria led Israel to request boosted security for its citizens traveling in the country, according to reports in the Bulgarian press.

The Sofia News Agency Novinite quoted Dan Shenar, head of security at the Israeli Transportation Ministry, confirmed he had requested the increased security at the time.

Israel has been concerned Hezbollah would try to attack Israelis overseas in in connection with the fourth anniversary of the assassination of Hezbollah military commander Imad Mughniyeh, attributed to the Mossad.

Israel had asked Bulgaria, for example, to increase its security over Israeli tour groups in the capital city of Sofia. According to Sofia News Agency, a Hezbollah plot was earlier uncovered by local security agencies, which warned Israel.

Iran’s supreme leader tells nation to prepare for war and “the end of times”

And the cowardly West has allowed these nutjobs to get within weeks or months of a nuclear bomb.

This comes Reza Kahlili, a pseudonym for a former CIA operative in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.

WND – Iran’s supreme leader, for the first time, is telling his nation that it must prepare for war and “the end of times” as it continues to develop nuclear weapons.

State-owned media outlets, in a coordinated effort, all ran a similar story Friday highlighting Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s message on the coming of the last Islamic messiah.

Until now, the Iranian media would mostly quote clerics from seminaries on the issue of the last Islamic messiah to avoid the regime being labeled messianic. However, the wide publication of Khamenei’s statements on a need to prepare for the end of times as it confronts the West over its illicit nuclear program is alarming to Western leaders.

“The issue of Imam Mahdi is of utmost importance, and his reappearance has been clearly stated in our holy religion of Islam,” Khamenei said. We must study and remind ourselves of the end of times and Imam Mahdi’s era. … We must prepare the environment for the coming so that the great leader will come.”

Shiite theology holds that great wars must engulf the Earth, during which one-third of the world’s population will die in the fighting and another third from hunger, lawlessness and havoc. Israel is to be destroyed, and only then will the 12th imam, Mahdi, reappear and kill all the infidels, raising the flag of Islam in all corners of the world.

Under the guidance of Khamenei, several centers have been established in Iran on research and information on the coming of Mahdi, and a conference is held annually on Mahdiism.

“Today we have a duty to prepare for the coming. … If we are the soldiers of the 12th imam, then we must be ready to fight,” Khamenei said.

“With the guidance of Allah and His invisible help, we shall make the Islamic civilization proud on the world stage. … This is our destiny. … The youth, the faithful must prepare themselves for this great move.”

Referring to the Quran, Khamenei said the coming has been promised by Allah. “There will come a time when all the oppressive powers of the world will be destroyed and humanity will be enlightened in the era of Imam Mahdi.”

As reported recently, the regime has distributed the booklet “The Last Six Months” among its military forces in preparation for the coming and its confrontation with the West. The material admonishes the Revolutionary Guards and the Basij paramilitary forces that they must be prepared to do their duties during the expected war. Continue reading

Former CIA spy: Iran operating terrorist sleeper cells inside US

“You’d be shocked by how easily agents from the Revolutionary Guard come and go inside the United States every day,” Kahlili says.

And how many Hamas, Hezbollah, and al-Qaeda cells are there? one must wonder. The Obama Administration isn’t worried, so why should we be, right? After all, they insist that there is no such thing as a Muslim terrorist anymore.

Former CIA spy Reza Kahlili lived a double life until the mid-1990s, passing along Iran’s secrets to the CIA and recruiting Revolutionary Guards for the agency. In a sense, he resumed his double identity after publishing his 2010 memoir. (Reza Kahlili / July 7, 2012)

LA Times – ARLINGTON, Va. — His disguise consists of a blue surgeon’s mask, sunglasses and a baseball cap that reads “Free Iran.” A small modulator distorts his voice. He uses a pseudonym, Reza Kahlili.

He lives in fear, he says, because his years as a paid spy for the CIA inside Iran have made him an assassination target of Iran’s government. He worries about his wife and children, who live with him in California.

At the same time, implausibly, he has become one of the most influential and outspoken voices in the U.S. advocating the overthrow of the Iranian government.

For the last two years, Kahlili has gone semipublic with a memoir, a blog, op-ed pieces and invitation-only speeches at think tanks. He warns that Iran operates terrorist sleeper cells inside the United States and is determined to build nuclear weapons to destroy Israel. The U.S. should respond, he argues, by supporting the opposition inside Iran.

He travels furtively between appearances, working as a Pentagon consultant and as a member of a domestic security task force.

“There’s probably nobody better on our side in explaining the mind-set of those in power in Iran,” said Peter Vincent Pry, a former CIA military analyst who directs the Task Force on National and Homeland Security. “He understands the ideological sources of Iran’s nuclear program.”

U.S. Rep. Peter T. King (R-N.Y.), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said Kahlili has convinced him of the importance of supporting the opposition and hardening sanctions against Iran.

“I thought I knew a lot about Iran until meeting with him,” King said on a New York political radio program in January. At the time, Kahlili was a guest and King was a guest-host, but the two had previously met in the congressman’s office.

“If you’re going to take this issue seriously, the one person you have to consult with and read his writings is Reza Kahlili,” King said.

In a quiet hotel lounge in Arlington, Kahlili is not wearing his disguise or using his voice modulator for a meeting with a reporter.

“You’d be shocked by how easily agents from the Revolutionary Guard come and go inside the United States every day,” Kahlili says in a near-whisper, bent over a table in a dark corner.

A soft-spoken man in his mid-50s, Kahlili is wearing jeans, a sports shirt and a black coat. He’s of average height and weight, with a smattering of facial hair.

He made certain he wasn’t followed, he says, and performed a quick security check of the hotel.

“They’d kill me if they could find me,” he says of Iranian agents. Continue reading

Iranians attack on Israeli targets in Kenya foiled

Two Iranian suspects, believed to be members of the Revolutionary Guard, lead Kenyan security forces to over 30 pounds of powerful explosive RDX.

Sayed Mansour Mousav (left) and Ahmad Abolfathi Mohammad arrive at a court in Nairobi in June, where they faced charges related to the possession of explosives.

Israel Hayom – Two Iranian nationals, who recently led authorities to a cache of explosives after their arrest, had planned to attack Israeli, U.S., British or Saudi targets inside Kenya, officials told The Associated Press on Monday.

The two are believed to be members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s Quds Force, an elite and secretive unit that acts against foreign interests, one of the officials said.

The foiled attack appeared to fit into a global pattern of alleged plots by Iranian agents. Previous plots were uncovered in the U.S. — against Saudi Arabia’s ambassador — as well as in Thailand, Azerbaijan and India.

Kenyan security forces arrested the Iranians on June 19 and were then led to 15 kilograms (33 pounds) of RDX, a powerful explosive that could have been used against multiple targets or concentrated in one large bomb. If used together, the explosives could have leveled a medium-sized hotel, officials said. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the investigation.

The two suspects — Ahmad Abolfathi Mohammad and Sayed Mansour Mousavi — appeared in a Kenyan court last week, where Mohammad said he had been interrogated by Israeli agents. Israel’s embassy declined to comment.

In Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bureau issued a statement saying that “there are no limits to the Iranian terror.”

“After Iran sent its people to assassinate — on U.S. soil — the Saudi Arabian ambassador and to perpetrate terrorist attacks in Azerbaijan, Bangkok, Tbilisi and New Delhi, its intention to perpetrate attacks on African soil has now been exposed. The international community needs to fight the greatest exporter of terrorism in the world,” the statement said.

Given the previous alleged plots against Israeli targets overseas, it appeared likely that Israeli properties in Kenya were the likely primary targets in this instance as well, said one of the two officials, a Western diplomat.

Iranian general threatens to ‘wipe Israel off map of the earth’ … again

Yeah, well take a number and get in line you Islamic turd.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard begins war games, named “Great Prophet 7,” including drills with surface-to-surface missiles aimed at models of foreign bases.

General Amir Ali Hajizadeh – Islamonazi

Israel Hayom – Iran announced missile tests on Sunday and threatened to wipe Israel “off the face of the earth” if the Jewish state attacked it, brandishing some of its starkest threats on the day Europe began enforcing an oil embargo and harsh new sanctions.

The European sanctions — including a ban on imports of Iranian oil by EU states and measures that make it difficult for other countries to trade with Iran — were enacted earlier this year but mainly came into effect on July 1.

They are designed to break Iran’s economy and force it to curb nuclear work that Western countries say is aimed at producing an atomic weapon. Reporting by Reuters has shown in recent months that the sanctions have already had a significant effect on Iran’s economy.

Israel says it could attack Iran if diplomacy fails to force Tehran to abandon its nuclear aims. The U.S. also says military force is on the table as a last resort, but U.S. officials have repeatedly encouraged the Israelis to be patient while new sanctions take effect.

Washington said the EU’s oil ban might force Tehran to give ground at the next round of nuclear talks, scheduled for this week in Istanbul.

Announcing three days of missile tests in the coming week, Revolutionary Guard General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said the exercises should be seen as a message “that the Islamic Republic of Iran is resolute in standing up to … bullying, and will respond to any possible evil decisively and strongly.”

Any attack on Iran by Israel would be answered resolutely: “If they take any action, they will hand us an excuse to wipe them off the face of the earth,” said Hajizadeh, head of the Guard’s airborne division, according to state news agency IRNA.

The missile tests, named “Great Prophet 7″, will target mock-ups of air bases in the region, Hajizadeh said, adding that its ability to strike U.S. bases in the Gulf protects Iran from U.S. support for Israel.

“U.S. bases in the region are within range of our missiles and weapons, and therefore they certainly will not cooperate with the [Israeli] regime,” he told IRNA.

Iran has repeatedly unnerved oil markets by threatening reprisals if it were to be attacked or its trade disrupted.

The threat against the Jewish state echoed words President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke in 2005, saying Israel “must be wiped off the page of time” — a phrase often translated as “wiped off the map” and cited by Israel to show how allowing Iran to get nuclear arms would be a threat to its existence.

44 US senators tell Obama that unless Iran makes 3 concessions he must halt Iranian talks

In a bipartisan move, 44 Senators have told Imam Obama that unless Iran gives 3 concessions, he should abandon ongoing negotiations over country’s nuclear program.

It’s a meaningless gesture as nothing will stop Obama from allowing Iran to go nuclear. Should that day come, G-d forbid, ‘the man who can do no wrong’ will simply blame Israeli intransigence, Republicans, the CIA, corporate greed, big oil, insurance companies, Rush Limbaugh, ATM machines, Fox News, people who cling to their guns and Bibles, typical white grandmothers, global warming, Arizona, and, of course, George Bush.

Arutz Sheva – Nearly half the U.S. Senate told President Barack Obama on Friday that unless Iran gives three specific concessions at the talks in Moscow with the group of six world powers, he should abandon the ongoing negotiations over the country’s nuclear program, The Cable reported.

“It is past time for the Iranians to take the concrete steps that would reassure the world that their nuclear program is, as they claim, exclusively peaceful,” wrote 44 senators in a bipartisan letter organized by Sens. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) and Roy Blunt (R-MO). “Absent these steps, we must conclude that Tehran is using the talks as a cover to buy time as it continues to advance toward nuclear weapons capability. We know that you share our conviction that allowing Iran to gain this capability is unacceptable.”

The senators wrote that the “absolute minimum” Iran must do immediately to justify further talks is to shut down the Fordo uranium enrichment facility near Qom, freeze all uranium enrichment above 5 percent, and ship all uranium enriched above 5 percent out of the country.

“We understand that this was the very proposal that the P5+1 advanced during the Baghdad meeting,” the senators wrote, referring to the permanent five members of the U.N. Security Council plus Germany. “Were Iran to agree to and verifiably implement these steps, this would demonstrate a level of commitment by Iran to the process and could justify continued discussions beyond the meeting in Moscow.”

Few expect the Moscow meeting to yield tangible results or unilateral actions by Iran. Continue reading

Pointless nuclear talks between IAEA and Iran break down yet again over inspections

Gee, what a surprise.

The West are willing dupes to this oldest of games. The UN is worthless, and the West not only knows it but is glad for it. The West is happy to play along as the UN gives them cover. The UN allows all the Western cowards to pretend that they are serious when in truth western leaders, who have had some fifteen years to stop Iran, could really care less.

Times of Israel – uclear talks between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency broke down again Friday after the nuclear watchdog’s inspectors failed to gain access to Parchin, a key Iranian nuclear site. The failure of the meeting lowered hopes of a breakthrough in talks between world powers and Iran scheduled to take place in Moscow later this month.

Herman Nackaerts, the IAEA’s chief inspector, said “no progress has been made… and there is no point to finishing this round of talks,” referring to his meeting with Iran’s envoy to the IAEA Ali Asghar Soltanieh. He called the talks inconclusive and “disappointing,” and said Iran was going back on previous commitments it had made to inspectors. He added that a follow-up date for another meeting had not been set.

Soltanieh, however, defended his country and said there was “no obstacle” to striking a deal with the IAEA. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reinforced the assertion that it was not Iran, but the West, that was to blame for the breakdown. He also accused the West of “wasting time” in its talks with Iran and cited a letter sent by Saeed Jalili, Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator, to EU policy chief Catherine Ashton, that conveyed a similar message, Fars News reported.

The breakdown in IAEA-Iranian talks comes approximately three weeks after the moderate success of IAEA chief Yukiya Amano, who, after flying to Iran, claimed that the Islamic republic had agreed to grant the agency’s officials access to key facilities and scientists involved in the country’s nuclear program.

Located outside Tehran, Parchin is the site where explosives for nuclear weapons are believed to have been tested. Recent satellite photos have indicated that major renovation is underway in Parchin.

High-ranking officers in Iran’s Revolutionary Guard dropping like flies under violent circumstances

Hmm…

BEIRUT, Lebanon, June 4 (UPI) — At least 10 high-ranking officers in Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps are reported to have died recently, apparently in violent circumstances.

But only two of the deaths have been made public, raising suspicions the officers may have been assassinated by Iran’s enemies.

The unusually large number of deaths among senior IRGC commanders followed a disclosure by Israel’s military chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz, in April that covert Special Forces operations against “enemy countries” were becoming more intense.

There doesn’t appear to be any solid evidence the Israelis were involved in the deaths of the Revolutionary Guard chiefs.

But Gantz told the Yediot Ahronot daily, “You almost won’t find a point in time where something isn’t happening somewhere in the world. I’m escalating all those special operations.”

He didn’t say which countries were being targeted. But in recent years Israel has been mounting clandestine operations against Iran and its contentious nuclear program, which Israeli leaders see as an existential threat.

Intelligence Online, a Paris Web site that specializes in global intelligence and security issues, identified the two officers whose deaths were acknowledged by the Tehran regime as Gen. Gholam Reza Qassemi, former commander of the 92nd Armored Division, and Gen. Mohammad Ali Mousavi, leader of a commando regiment in the southwestern city of Ahwaz, a key oil center.

Intelligence Online said there was speculation some of the deaths could have resulted from turf wars within the increasingly powerful IRGC over control of sections of the vast economic empire the IRGC has built up in recent years.

The IRGC is reported to operate widespread illegal economic networks, including smuggling, that have made it one of the most crucial economic forces in the country.

This, on top of its growing political power, has raised suggestions both inside and outside Iran that the IRGC, formed by the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini to protect the 1979 Islamic Revolution, may seek to take control at some point.

Intelligence Online said the Gen. Ahmed Mansouri, one of the representatives of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei within the IRGC leadership, also died recently, supposedly from a heart attack.

It also said two senior colonels, Najaf Ali Khirallahi and Nassif Pour, were killed in car accidents.

Intelligence Online said other senior IRGC officials, identified as Wafa Ghafarian, 52; Abbas Mehri, 53; Ahmed Siafzadeh, 55; Mansour Tourqan, 50; and Ahmed Soudaker, 51, also passed away recently, with no official explanation.

“Khamenei has not publicly expressed his condolences, which are usually widely reported in the Iranian press,” the Web site observed.

Flame on – most sophisticated cyber-weapon yet unleashed on Iran

Another, much more powerful virus is tormenting Iran and other Islamonazi regimes.

Flame can gather data files, remotely change settings on computers, turn on PC microphones to record conversations, take screen shots and log instant messaging chats.

Israeli strategic Affairs Minister Moshe (Bogie) Ya’alon said, ”Those who view Iran as a significant threat are likely employing various means, including this one, to attack it.” Speaking to Army Radio, Ya’alon added cryptically, ”Israel has been blessed with elite technology, and these tools that we pride ourselves in open up all sorts of options for us.”

Arutz Sheva – Iranian security experts report a virus far more dangerous than the Stuxnet worm has struck the country’s computer systems.

Dubbed the “Flame,” the virus is one that has struck not only Iran, however, but a number of other enemies of Israel as well.

The Kaspersky Internet security firm is calling the “Flame” data-stealing virus the “most sophisticated cyber-weapon yet unleashed” and hinted it may have been created by the makers of the Stuxnet worm.

Kaspersky called the virus a “cyber-espionage worm” designed to collect and delete sensitive information, primarily in Middle Eastern countries.

The “Flame” has struck at least 600 specific computer systems in Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and the Palestinian Authority, Kaspersky malware expert Vitaly Kamluk told the BBC. He added that the virus has probably been operating discreetly for at least two years.

“This virus is stronger than its predecessor,” he said. “It is one that could only have been created by a state or other large entity.”

Problems in Iran’s computer systems are also continuing to surface in connection with the 2010 “Stuxnet” virus. The malware successfully disabled the computers that operated Iran’s uranium enrichment facility. More than 16,000 of the Natanz facility’s centrifuges were destroyed as a result of the cyber attack.

U.S. study: Iran has enough uranium for 5 nuclear bombs

That the Islamonazi regime has been allowed to progress to this point is the single greatest example of the world’s collective moral cowardice.

HaaretzIran has significantly stepped up its output of low-enriched uranium and total production in the last five years would be enough for at least five nuclear weapons if refined much further, a U.S. security institute said.

The Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), a think-tank which tracks Iran’s nuclear programme closely, based the analysis on data in the latest report by the UN International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) which was issued on Friday.

Progress in Iran’s nuclear activities is closely watched by the West and Israel as it could determine how long it could take Tehran to build atomic bombs, if it decided to do so. Iran denies any plan to and says its aims are entirely peaceful.

During talks in Baghdad this week, six world powers failed to convince Iran to scale back its uranium enrichment program.

They will meet again in Moscow next month to try to defuse a decade-old standoff that has raised fears of a new war in the Middle East that coulddisrupt oil supplies.

Friday’s report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a Vienna-based UN body, showed Iran was pressing ahead with its uraniumn enrichment work in defiance of UN resolutions calling on it to suspend the activity.

It said Iran had produced almost 6.2 tonnes of uranium enriched to a level of 3.5 percent since it began the work in 2007 – some of which has subsequently been further processed into higher-grade material.

This is nearly 750 kg more than in the previous IAEA report issued in February, and ISIS said Iran’s monthly production had risen by roughly a third.

This total amount of 3.5 percent low enriched uranium hexafluoride, if further enriched to weapon grade, is enough to make over five nuclear weapons,” ISIS said in its analysis.

It added, however, that some of Iran’s higher-grade uranium had been converted into reactor fuel and would not be available for nuclear weapons, at least not quickly.

Friday’s IAEA report also said environmental samples taken in February at Iran’s Fordow facility – buried deep beneath rock and soil to protect it from air strikes – showed the presence of particles with enrichment levels of up to 27 percent.

Iran’s permanent representative to the body played down the findings, saying some western media sought to turn a technical issue into a political one.

Iranian Chief of Staff: Iranian nation committed to “the full annihilation of Israel”

Meanwhile, the Obama Administration, Europe, and the United Nations are committed to helping the Iranian Islamonazis achieve their evil goal by doing next to nothing to stop them from acquiring nuclear weapons. The West has had 20 years to stop them, and have just kicked the can down the road. Now there is no more road left.

Hassan Firouzabadi and Ahmadinejad

Arutz ShevaChief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi said that threats and sanctions will not deter the Islamic Republic from “its revolutionary causes and ideals,” and stressed that the regime will remain committed to the full annihilation of the Jewish state, the Fars News Agency (FNA) reported on Monday.

Addressing a defense-related gathering in Tehran on Sunday, General Firouzabadi asserted that nations must confront “the threats and dangers posed by the Zionist regime of Israel,” the news agency reported.

He highlighted the emphasis placed by Iran’s supreme leader on the necessity of supporting “the oppressed Palestinian nation and its causes.”

“The Iranian nation is standing for its cause that is the full annihilation of Israel,” Firouzabadi said.

FNA noted that, “The top military official reminded the gatherers [sic] that the Iranian Supreme Leader considers defending Palestine as a full religion duty and believes that any kind of governance and rule by anyone other than the Palestinians is an instance of usurpation.”

Earlier this year, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei stressed Iran’s direct involvement in the “Palestinian” and Lebanese confrontations with Israel.

“Wherever Iran interfered, it announces it in a very straightforward manner. For instance, we interfered in confrontations against Israel, which resulted in the (Lebanese) victory in the 330 day war and (Palestinians’ victory in) the 22 day (Gaza) war,” Khamenei said, addressing a crowd of worshippers at Tehran University in February.

“In the future too, we will support and help everyone who opposes the Zionist regime,” he said,

“The Zionist regime is a real cancerous tumor that should be cut and will be cut, God willing,” he added.

Ahmadinejad calls Israel an annoying “mosquito”

One day the little ‘mosquito’ is going to kick your fly-encased arse.

Israeli mosquitoes

Times of Israel – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad compared to Israel to an annoying insect Saturday, saying the Jewish state offered no challenge to Tehran’s nuclear program.

“Israel is nothing more than a mosquito which cannot see the broad horizon of the Iranian nation,” Ahmadinejad said in a speech in the northern Khorassan Razavi province, according to Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency.

Ahmadinejad also said Israel’s attempts to impede the progress of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program had failed.

Israel has long portrayed Iran’s nuclear program as a threat to its existence, and has reportedly been seeking world support for a military strike on the program should talks and sanctions on Tehran fail.

Much of the West believes Iran’s nuclear activity includes enriching uranium for military applications, but Iran claims its program is for peaceful purposes only. Continue reading

Video: Iran vs. Israel – No Fear

Another important video from the folks at LandofIsrael.com. Recently they posted a different Iran-retated video, called ‘Back to the Future.’ If you missed that one, click here.

Apr 19, 2012 by – If everybody knows that Iran poses an imminent existential threat to the world, why is no one stopping them?

What would a nuclear armed Iran mean for America, Israel, and the world?

Should Israel wait for the possibility that the international community will come to our defense or should we take our fate into our own hands and take action now?

Iran reverse-engineering top secret drone that Obama gladly surrendered to them

Remember that story back in December of last year where Iran announced it had captured a U.S. drone? The one that Barack Obama couldn’t be bothered to retrieve or destroy because…well, nobody knows because no one in the Democrat-controlled media would ask him. But he rejected three plans to recover or destroy it. Well, Iran is saying they are reverse-engineering it and exporting the retrieved data.

Lamest, most incompetent president, ever. He loves to brag than he personally took out Osama bin Laden, but the guy didn’t have the cajones to order an air attack to take out a drone in the middle of nowhere that contained millions of dollars worth of vital intelligence and engineering.

AP – Iran claimed Sunday that it had reverse-engineered an American spy drone captured by its armed forces last year and has begun building a copy.

Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, chief of the aerospace division of the powerful Revolutionary Guards, related what he said were details of the aircraft’s operational history to prove his claim that Tehran’s military experts had extracted data from the U.S. RQ-170 Sentinel captured in December in eastern Iran, state television reported.

Among the drone’s past missions, he said, was surveillance of the compound in northwest Pakistan in which Osama Bin Laden lived and was killed.

Tehran has flaunted the capture of the Sentinel, a top-secret surveillance drone with stealth technology, as a victory for Iran and a defeat for the United States in a complicated intelligence and technological battle.

U.S. officials have acknowledged losing the drone. They have said Iran will find it hard to exploit any data and technology aboard it because of measures taken to limit the intelligence value of drones operating over hostile territory.

Hajizadeh told state television that the captured surveillance drone is a “national asset” for Iran and that he could not reveal full technical details.

US Professors attend Occupy Wall Street Conference in Tehran

America’s Marxist academics visited their Iranian pals in Tehran. Just another example of the Unholy Alliance between the radical Left and radical Islam.

The professors interviewed on Press TV include Alex Vitale of Brooklyn College, Heather Gautney of Fordham University, and John Hammond of City University of New York.

Obama gives Iran nuclear green light if they just promise to be nice

Of course, there is no evidence that such a ploy has ever worked. It didn’t work with North Korea or Pakistan, and it will be an even bigger fail with the Islamonazi regime of Iran.

Times of Israel – US President Barack Obama would be willing to accept a civilian Iranian nuclear program and has told the Iranian leadership as much, according to an analysis by Washington Post columnist David Ignatius published Friday.

According to Ignatius, Obama will give Iran a green light to go ahead with its nuclear pursuits in the event that the Islamic republic guarantees that its ultimate objective is not to acquire a nuclear bomb – a message reportedly conveyed from Obama to Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who met with Obama in Seoul over a week ago.

YNet News reported:

US President Barack Obama has signaled Tehran that the Washington would accept an civilian nuclear program in Iran if Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei can back up his recent claim that his nation “will never pursue nuclear weapons,” the Washington Post reported Friday.

According to the report, the verbal message was sent through Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who met with Khamenei last week. A few days prior to leaving for the trip, Erdogan held a two-hour meeting with Obama on the sidelines of the nuclear security summit in Seoul, in which they discussed what the Turkish leader would tell Khamenei about the nuclear issue.

Washington Post columnist David Ignatius wrote that Obama advised Tehran, via Edrogan, that time is running out for a peaceful agreement. Obama didn’t specify whether Iran would be allowed to enrich uranium domestically. The issue evidently is to be discussed during the talks between the Islamic Republic and the West, which are slated start on April 13 at a venue yet to be decided.

Intelligence report: Iranian special-ops division planning attacks on Jewish, Israeli targets in Turkey

Hmm… Are they truly that stupid?

Probably.

Maybe they sent their fearsome female ninja warriors along with them.

Revolutionary Guard soldiers

Israel HayomIntelligence agencies are searching for members of an Iranian network of assassins that have been ordered to attack Jewish, Israeli and Western targets in Turkey, Sky News reported on Sunday.

Sources told the news network that Unit 400, a secret Iranian special-ops division of the Revolutionary Guard’s elite Quds Force, is believed to be preparing an attack that is already in its advanced stages and is meant to be carried out in the near future.

Intelligence sources told Sky News that in recent months Unit 400 has been developing “a standing operating procedure for carrying out an attack in Turkey against Western targets as well as Israeli and Jewish [ones].” The source added that intelligence assessments have shown “these procedures are in a very advanced stage, and that the intention is to act on the plans very soon.”

The sources also told Sky News that in the wake of growing threats of possible military action against Iran’s nuclear program, Unit 400 has been instructed to carry out “more frequent and more daring terror attacks around the world as a demonstration of ‘Iran’s asymmetric power.’”

Unit 400 falls under the direct command of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who reportedly controls the Quds Force through his close associate Qassem Suleiman.

“He runs the whole thing – directly,” a source told Sky News, adding that President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad “makes all the noise and gets the attention” but that Khamenei “is in charge of what is going on especially when it comes to international operations.”

The report also quoted an unnamed study by a foreign intelligence agency, which said Unit 400 “plans and carries out terror attacks on external targets, and provides material support to foreign militia groups, at the direct behest of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.”

The intelligence sources who spoke to Sky News said a senior officer in Unit 400 is a key Iranian agent who “has been working up plans for potential attacks in European countries.” Continue reading

Officials: Iran helping Assad to put down protests

Well, duh.

Jerusalem Post – Iran is providing a broad array of assistance to Syrian President Bashar Assad to help him suppress anti-government protests, from high-tech surveillance technology to guns and ammunition, US and European security officials say.

Tehran’s technical assistance to Assad’s security forces includes electronic surveillance systems, technology designed to disrupt efforts by protesters to communicate via social media, and Iranian-made drone aircraft for overhead surveillance, the officials said. They discussed intelligence matters on condition of anonymity.

Iran has also provided lethal materiel that can be used for riot control, they said.

“Over the past year, Iran has provided security assistance to Damascus to help shore up Assad. Tehran during the last couple of months has been aiding the Syrian regime with lethal assistance – including rifles, ammunition, and other military equipment – to help it put down the opposition,” a US official said.

“Iran has provided Damascus (with) monitoring tools to help the regime suppress the opposition. It has also shared techniques on Internet surveillance and disruption,” the official continued.

He added that Iran had also provided Assad’s government with “unarmed drones that Damascus is using along with its own technology to monitor opposition forces.”

Iranian security officials have also traveled to Damascus to advise Assad’s entourage how to counter dissent, the official said. Some Iranian officials have stayed on in Syria to advise Assad’s forces, he added.

Iran’s multi-pronged security aid to Syria appears to have helped Assad’s government in its increasingly violent campaign to hold on to power in the face of a year-long protest movement. The United Nations estimates 8,000 civilians have died in the conflict.  (more >>>)
