Gaza’s millionaires funding Hamas through underground smuggling

What kind of “ghetto” has 600 millionaires living the life of Riley?

Palestinian Authority employees wait in front of an ATM machine in Gaza city to receive parts of their salaries.

Jewish Press – The world often thinks of the Gaza Strip, home to 1.4 million Palestinians, as one of the poorest places on earth, where people live in misery and squalor.

But according to an investigative report published in the pan-Arab newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat, there are at least 600 millionaires living in the Gaza Strip. The newspaper report also refutes the claim that the Gaza Strip has been facing a humanitarian crisis because of an Israeli blockade.

Mohammed Dahlan, the former Palestinian Authority security commander of the Gaza Strip, further said last week that Hamas was the only party that was laying siege to the Gaza Strip; that it is Hamas, and not Israel or Egypt, that is strangling and punishing the people there.

The Palestinian millionaires, according to the report, have made their wealth thanks to the hundreds of underground tunnels along the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt.

Informed Palestinian sources revealed that every day, in addition to weapons, thousands of tons of fuel, medicine, various types of merchandise, vehicles, electrical appliances, drugs, medicine and cigarettes are smuggled into the Gaza Strip through more than 400 tunnels. A former Sudanese government official who visited the Gaza Strip lately was quoted as saying that he found basic goods that were not available in Sudan. Almost all the tunnels are controlled by the Hamas government, which has established a special commission to oversee the smuggling business, which makes the Hamas government the biggest benefactor of the smuggling industry.

Palestinians estimate that 25% of the Hamas government’s budget comes from taxes imposed on the owners of the underground tunnels.

For example, Hamas has imposed a 25% tax and a $2000 fee on every car that is smuggled into the Gaza Strip. Hamas also charges $15 dollars for each ton of cement, eight cents for a pack of cigarettes and 50 cents for each liter of fuel smuggled through the tunnels.

For Hamas, the Palestinian sources said, the tunnels are a matter of life or death.

Now, however, Hamas is facing a huge crisis as the Egyptian authorities plan to regain control over Sinai in the aftermath of the recent killing of 16 Egyptian border guards by unidentified terrorists.

The Egyptian army appears to be determined to destroy the underground tunnels out of fear that they are being used to smuggle not only goods and fuel, but also Islamist terrorists who pose a threat to Egypt’s national security.

At this stage, however, it is not clear whether Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood President, Mohamed Morsi, would allow his army to cut off one of Hamas’s main sources of income. Morsi’s policy thus far has been to embrace and strengthen Hamas at the expense of the Western-backed Palestinian Authority in the West Bank.

If the Egyptian army succeeds in its anti-terror security crackdown in Sinai, including the demolition of all the underground tunnels that keep Hamas running, it could mark the beginning of the end of the Islamist movement’s rule over the Gaza Strip. But if Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood tie the hands of their generals and prevent them from completing the mission, Hamas will become even stronger and wealthier.

IAF bombs two Gaza weapons production and storage facilities

Kaboom.

Ynet – The IDF retaliated to the recent firing of rockets at Sderot and bombed two weapons production and storage facilities in the northern Gaza Strip overnight. The IDF confirmed the report.

According to reports, Air Force jets struck a number posts belonging to Hamas’ military wing as well as Hamas government security posts. Two Palestinian officers were injured.

It was also reported that Gaza security forces evacuated all of their posts for fear of additional attacks.

On Monday, two rockets hit open areas in Sderot and Shaar Hanegev just minutes after President Shimon Peres had left the area after visiting a local school.

Several hours earlier, a rocket was fired at Sderot shortly after the new school year began. Rockets were fired at the southern city on Sunday as well, hitting two factories. No injuries were reported.

Video: Hamas MP calls for the annihilation of Jews and Americans

So what else is new?

Every day in every Arab country some Muslim leader calls for the massacring of Jews. It’s who Muslims are. It’s in the Koran. Nothing good can ever be hoped for or expected from them. The real evil is the West’s willful blindness towards these vile savages.

Aug 22, 2012 by – Hamas MP Sheik Ahmad Bahr appeared on Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV and demanded all Muslims to annihilate the Jews and Americans. He emphasized that it is the individual duty of each Muslim, whether male or female, to wage jihad.

Desperate Palestinian Christians protest forced conversion in Hamas-run Gaza

It’s not just in Gaza where Christians are under attack, it has been going on in the Fatah-controlled ‘West Bank’ for decades now. Islam is Islam no matter where it is found, and no matter who is in charge. But don’t expect to hear a peep about it from the Left. For Leftists, Islam is doing them a favor.

Haaretz (h/t Weasel Zippers) — Dozens of Gaza Christians staged a rare public protest Monday, claiming two congregants were forcibly converted to Islam and were being held against their will.

The small but noisy demonstration showed the increasingly desperate situation facing the tiny minority.

Protesters banged on a church bell and chanted, “With our spirit, with our blood we will sacrifice ourselves for you, Jesus.”

Gaza police say the two are staying with a Muslim religious official at their request, because they fear retribution from their families converting to Islam. Two mediators said the two – a 25-year-old man and a woman with three children – appeared to have embraced Islam of their free will. Forced conversions have been unheard of in Gaza before.

Since the Islamic militant Hamas seized power five years ago, Christians have felt increasingly embattled, but have mostly kept silent.

There are growing fears among Gaza Christians that their rapidly shrinking community could disappear through emigration and conversions.

Hamas terrorist Ibrahim Hamed gets 54 life sentences for murder of 46 Israelis in bombing attacks

The fiend was arrested in 2006. What the hell took so long? Why is he even still alive? Watch, a few years down the road he’ll be traded along with a thousand scumbags just like him for one Israeli citizen.

Times of Israel – A military court on Sunday sentenced convicted Hamas terrorist Ibrahim Hamed to 54 life sentences for his complicity in the murder of 46 Israelis in bombing attacks.

Last month, Hamed, the former commander of Hamas’s military wing in the West Bank during the second intifada, was convicted for his role in some of the most murderous bombings of the second intifada, among them the bombing at Jerusalem’s Café Moment in March 2002.

After the conviction was announced, Hamed’s lawyer, Saleh Hamid, said his client — who refused to testify during the trial — did not acknowledge the Israeli court’s authority over him.

Other suicide bombings planned by Hamed include the December 2001 attack on Zion Square in Jerusalem; the May 2002 attack on the Sheffield club in Rishon Lezion; the bombing at the Frank Sinatra cafeteria at the Hebrew University in June 2002; and the attack at Cafe Hillel in September 2003 in Jerusalem.

Hamed, 47, a native of the Palestinian town of Silwad near Ramallah, became a Hamas functionary in the late 1980s. In 2001 he was released from a Palestinian Authority prison and began planning the lethal series of suicide attacks. He was arrested in 2006 by Israeli authorities following a protracted manhunt. In 2003 Israel demolished his home and deported his wife and children to Jordan.

The 54 life terms — a sentence requested by the prosecution — related to the 46 murders in which he was implicated, and eight counts of attempted homicide.

Video: Hamas urges women to blow themselves up

One of the International community’s most beloved Islamic groups.

Arutz Sheva – A Hamas legislator gave a fiery speech, urging women to blow themselves up for the sake of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa mosque.

Speaking before the Global March on Jerusalem, Mushri al-Masri addressed a score of Palestinian women in Gaza in a speech broadcast on Hamas Al Aqsa television and translated by the IDF on its website.

His constant theme was to sacrifice Arab blood “for the Al Aqsa mosque,” which is on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

“The Hamas woman in Gaza, the Palestinian woman, says that our blood is a sacrifice for Al Aqsa mosque and that we will give Al Aqsa mosque blood and pave the road with body parts,” the Hamas legislator declared.

He called on Gaza women to march towards Israel as part of “one message – that the Hamas’ compass and direction are clear; they are not vague or obscure. “

“Palestine, all of Palestine and Jerusalem, all of Jerusalem – its west before its east, Palestine with every grain of its earth with every particle is the property of the Palestinian people and the rifle of Al Kassam Brigades and the willingness of the Jihad warrior to fight for the sake of Allah and sacrifice her sons,” Al Masri continued.

He called for “a struggle and a revolution that will say to this enemy, ‘You have no place on our land.’”

The Global March took place on Friday with less than 50,000 demonstrators in Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Lebanon, far less than two million promised.

Today is the 10-year anniversary of the horrific Netanya Park Hotel Passover terrorist attack

Ten years ago today was the savagely evil 2002 Israel Park Hotel bombing that killed 30 and injured 140 (20 seriously).

The victims were mostly elderly, some were Holocaust survivors. The date was March 27th, and they were there celebrating the Jewish holiday of Passover. The oldest victim was 90 and the youngest was 20 years old.

The suicide bomber was identified as Abdel-Basset Odeh, a member of the Hamas. Today, Hamas is in control of all of Gaza, and continues to terrorize Israeli citizens with thousands of rockets and other cowardly attacks. The International community, including the Obama Administration, continues to give the Islamonazis a pass, and even abet them in their war against the Jewish State.

Look what was said at the time, and ask yourself if the rhetoric has changed one iota. Same old blather about “peace”, and the absurd fantasy of a “two-state” solution.

Reactions of world leaders:

US President Bush (Mar 27):
“This callous, cold blooded killing, must stop… I call upon Mr. Arafat and the Palestinian Authority to do everything in their power to stop the terrorist killing because there are people in the Middle East who would rather kill than have peace.”(Full text)

Secy of State Powell (Mar 27):
“This is the time for Chairman Arafat to speak to his people, to tell them that they are destroying their own desire and vision for a Palestinian state living side by side in peace with Israel, behind secure and recognizable borders.”(Full text)

UN Secretary-General Annan (Mar 28):
The Secretary-General condemned suicide bombings against Israeli civilians as “morally repugnant”: “Last night’s heartless and indiscriminate attack in Netanya was an especially appalling example of this phenomenon. This is terrorism, and it greatly damages the Palestinian cause.”(Full text)

Colonel Allen West reads letter from a friend of his who was a first responder

Here is my reposting of the awesome Colonel Allen West from back in February when he read a moving letter from a good friend of his who was a first responder to the ghastly scene.

After reading the letter, Allen West gives his solemn oath that he will continue to stand as a defender of Israel, and do all he can to see to it that such barbarity does not strike again.

Video: Terrorist says Hamas has lost control over Gaza

Gaza is nothing but one big terrorist ant farm.

(Worth watching just to get a load of the interviewer’s hair style.)

Arutz Sheva – The Popular Resistance Committees terror group adds further evidence to reports that Hamas cannot control other terrorist groups in Gaza.

A video released by the IDF shows a Hamas television interview last Saturday with “Abu Mujahed,” spokesman of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC). Abu Mujahed admits that Hamas allows his group complete freedom of action in Gaza.

[...]  Israel’s Strategic Affairs Ministry Director Yosef Kuperwasser recently told an Israeli security conference that Hamas “is not capable of implementing this responsibility.”

“It is not in control of what happens in Gaza. Islamic Jihad does what it wants, the Popular Resistance Committees do what they want, and the Fatah military wing does everything it wants,” he said.

[...]  By allowing the PRC to operate as an ostensibly independent group, Hamas is able to carry out terror attacks against Israelis while maintaining an official stance of “restraint,” said a spokesmen for the IDF, which holds Hamas accountable for all terrorist attacks from Gaza.

Terrorist barrage passes 200 rockets, 1 million Israelis living under threat

Over 200 rockets have been fired by Gaza Strip terrorists at Israel in the past 72 hours, targeting Israeli communities including the cities of Be’er Sheva, Ashdod, Ashkelon, and more adding up to 1,000,000 people. Over 100 of these rockets hit Israeli territory injuring 22 civilians and causing damage to property in the cities of Ashdod and Be’er Sheva.

Would the U.S. put up with such a thing? Would China? Russia? France? England? No one would. The Jews are the only people on earth that the world demands it embrace its own annhilation. Hey world – screw you.

Ashkelon’s Barzilai Medical Center has evacuated patients into underground bomb shelters. The children’s wards, premature baby unit, and maternity unit will all be moved to underground shelters as a precaution against a possible missile strike on the hospital. In addition oncology and dialysis patients will receive their treatments in the shelters.

A rocket hit a car in Ashdod and another fell near Gedera Monday afternoon, the latest in a series of over 30 rockets to be fired at southern Israel from Gaza since morning.

Seven people in Ashdod were treated for shock; the rocket caused damage to a building and several cars.

From the archives of unrepentant useful idiots

Here are Israel’s “sages” back in 2005 scoffing at the idea that after the forced expulsion of Jews from Gaza that there would be any threat from the terrorists. They mocked those on the right for their prediction that an expulsion would only lead to endless rocketing.

Arutz ShevaArutz Sheva now presents a video of an Israel National News (Arutz Sheva) television in 2009, when the IDF entered Gaza in the counterterrorist Cast Lead campaign against terroroists, aired a Channel Two program, in which Amit Segal viewed promising speeches in 2005 on behalf of the “Disengagement” program to exit Gaza.

A majority of MKs voted in favor of the law that resulted in the expulsion of more than 9,000 Jews from Gaza, as well as from four Jewish communities in northern Samaria, and the withdrawal of all IDF forces.

“There  is an argument according to which there will be a threat…a threat and retreat…a threat on the Negev communities,” said Meir Sheetrit, formerly of the Likud and now in the Kadima party, which was  founded by Ariel Sharon after he feared the Likud would not approve his plan.

“I have never before heard such a ridiculous argument,” MK Sheetrit proclaimed.

Meretz MK Ran Cohen stated from the Knesset podium, “The Disengagement is good for security,”

He then scoffed at the “right wing people [who] stood here and talked about Kassams flying from here to there….If we don’t go out of Gaza in two or three years, maybe after one year, the [rocket] range will reach Ashkelon.

200,000 Israeli children stay home from school due to relentless terrorist rocket barrages

Name one other country in the world that is expected to put up with this.

Times of Israel – An Israeli airstrike in Gaza Sunday morning thwarted an additional  rocket attack on Israel, according to the IDF Spokesman’s Office. The attack targeted two terrorist cells attempting to fire a high-trajectory weapon towards the south, Army Radio reported.

Israel has conducted similar airstrikes on Gaza for the past two days following rocket fire from Palestinian terrorists, killing 15 of them as the deadliest Gaza violence in over a year showed no signs of abating.

Despite Egyptian efforts to mediate a cease-fire, Palestinians fired more than 120 rockets on Saturday, some striking major cities in southern Israel and seriously wounding an Israeli civilian. The military responded with more than a dozen airstrikes and the targeted killings of Palestinian terrorists from various Gaza organizations.

Israel’s lauded Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted more than 28 projectiles. Still, residents were told to stay close to home and the cities of Beersheba, Ashdod and Ashkelon called off school for Sunday, leaving roughly 200,000 children at home.

Exchanges between Israel and the Palestinians have been routine since the 2009 war, but a flare-up of this intensity is rare. The Arab League called the Israeli attacks a “massacre.” The United Nations and the State Department condemned the violence and called on both sides to exercise restraint.

“This round in Gaza is far from being over,” Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said in a visit to southern Israel. “We will not allow anyone to harm the citizens of the country and we will act against anyone who attempts to launch rockets. They will pay a heavy price, and no one will have immunity.”

The latest spate of violence got under way Friday afternoon, when an Israeli airstrike on a car in Gaza City killed top militant commander Zuhair al-Qaissi and two of his underlings. It was the highest-profile killing Israel has carried out in many months, interrupting a period of relative calm on the volatile southern front.

Almost immediately, Gaza terrorists unleashed a barrage of rockets toward southern Israeli border communities.

So far, terrorists have fired more than 120 rockets since al-Qaissi’s killing, a major escalation from recent months. Palestinian militants fired some 50 rockets toward Israel in the previous three months. Continue reading

Gaza terrorists rain down over 90 rockets on Israel’s south

The world’s favorite terrorists are giving them something to cheer about.

Iron Dome intercepts 25 rockets aimed city centers; 8 injured, including 1 critically from rocket shrapnel on Friday night in rural region; Safety instructions in place for residents living within 40 km of Gaza. The cities of Be’er Sheva, Ashdod and Ashkelon, are home to some 520,000 people.

(Watch the video of the IDF blowing up the terrorist scum as they prepare to launch before the hypocrites at YouTube takes it down. The understatement of the caption “Terror squad launch thrwarted” is priceless.)

Jerusalem Post – Cities, towns, and farming regions in southern Israel were targeted with waves of rockets fired from Gaza throughout Friday and Saturday, setting off air raid sirens and injuring eight people.

Palestinian terrorists fired 92 rockets – Qassams and the longer-range Grads – at civilian regions. Of those, the Iron Dome anti-rocket system intercepted 25 projectiles heading directly into city centers in Ashdod, Be’ersheba and Ashkelon. 67 rockets exploded in Israeli territory. The barrage came after the IAF foiled a major terror attack, killing the secretary general of the Popular Resistance Committees, Zuhair Qaisi.

on Mar 9, 2012

Eight people were injured on Friday evening. In the Eshkol Regional Council, a 40-year-old man was seriously injured from rocket shrapnel, a second man was moderately injured by shrapnel in his stomach, and a third was lightly injured. Paramedics said the injured were foreign workers. An electric pole and a vehicle were also damaged in the same area.

The seriously injured man was airlifted to the Soroka Medical Center in Be’ersheba, and remains in critical condition.

Two people were lightly injured in a car accident that occurred during an air raid siren at the Emunim Junction between Ashdod and Ashkelon on Friday evening.

Three other people in the South were lightly injured while fleeing for cover during sirens. One civilian was treated for shock. The injured were taken to the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot and the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon for treatment. (more >>>)

Hamas beats 3 reporters

That’s no way to treat your best friends.

Arutz Sheva – Three reporters were attacked by Hamas security forces while covering a mass wedding in Gaza City on Thursday.

Reports identified the three as local Sky News reporter Mohammad al-Mashharawi, BBC reporter Adnan al-Dorosh and Amer Abu Omar, a Gaza-based journalist.

Witnesses told the Bethleham-based Maan News Agency that the the three were severely beaten in a nearby playground.

The Palestine News Network said that al-Mashharawi was detained by Hamas and that his location is currently unknown.

Gaza’s Ministry of Interior issued a statement shortly after the incident condemning the attack.

Officials said they would “open an investigation and punish the assailants.”

Local human rights activists say Hamas has increasingly targeted journalists in Gaza for violence over the past year.

Israel: Significant increase in terrorist attacks during February

Arab terrorists carried out 100 attacks against Israel in the Gaza Strip, Judea and Samaria and the Jerusalem area. 36 rockets and mortar shells were fired at Israeli communities.

And no mention of any of it in Obama’s AIPAC speech.

IDF – The rise in the number of attacks against Israel was recorded on all fronts. The increase in Gaza-based attacks, with 31 attacks in comparison with 15 in January, is also due to an increase in rocket launchings against Israel: 36 launchings compared to 9 in January.

In Judea Samaria and Jerusalem region most attacks are in the form of explosives. The increase in attacks Judea and Samaria included 42 attacks, as opposed to 27 in January, in Jerusalem 27 attacks were reported, as opposed to 14 in January.

Terrorist attacks conducted this month resulted in two injuries: one Israeli citizen on February 10 as a result of rocket launchings by terrorists from the Gaza Strip at Israeli southern civilian communities, as well as a foreign reporter on February 14 who was wounded by an explosive in Jerusalem.

In the Jerusalem and the Judea and Samaria region, most attacks executed in February (67 out of 69) were in the form of explosives.

Throughout February 2012, 36 rockets and one mortar shell were fired by Gaza Strip terrorists towards Israel southern civilian communities in 28 attacks, as compared to 9 rockets and 7 mortar shells launched during the month of January in 14 attacks.

Sbarro terrorist that killed 15 gets talk show with Hamas

But of course!

Arutz Sheva – Hamas has decided to show its pride in terrorist Ahlam Tamimi by giving her a talk show. Tamimi now hosts the weekly program “Nassim al-Ahrar,” which focuses on terrorists imprisoned in Israel.

The show is broadcast on Al-Quds TV, and is heavily promoted by the channel.

Tamimi took part in the bombing at Sbarro restaurant in Jerusalem in which 15 people were murdered -7 of them children – in August, 2001. She has expressed pride in her role in the attack, telling a Jordanian interviewer, “I dedicated myself to the path of jihad for the sake of Allah… I would do it again.”

She was freed in 2011 as part of the mass prisoner release in exchange for captive IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.

Tamimi was released on the condition that she not return to Judea, Samaria or Gaza. Instead, she lives in Jordan, and interviews terrorists from there.

In one of her first programs, Tamimi interviewed a Hamas official who took part in coordinating the prisoner exchange. He called to free more terrorists, and stated that kidnapping Israelis is the only way to do so.

IDF strikes targets in Gaza after terrorists fire barrage of rockets into southern Israel

The heavy winter rains didn’t stop the Arab terrorists from firing more rockets into Israel over the weekend. The IAF retaliated by striking a weapons factory and a terror activity site in the northern Gaza Strip.

Arutz Sheva – Southern Israel’s residents are spending the night near shelters and protected spaces, after a barrage of rockets fired from Gaza over the weekend brought about several retaliations by the IDF.

At around 10:30 p.m. (Israel time) on Saturday night, IAF aircraft attacked a rocket production site in Gaza. The IDF Spokesperson said that the aircraft scored direct hits on their targets.

The second IAF attack occurred around 1:45 a.m., this time on a terrorist base and a weapons storehouse. In this attack, as well, direct hits were scored. All aircraft safely returned to their bases.

Over the weekend, Palestinian Authority terrorists fired at least six rockets at southern Israel.

A Grad missile exploded outside the city of Be’er Sheva shortly after the noon hour on Saturday afternoon. The missile landed in an open area. No property damage was reported and no one was physically injured.

Two short-range Qassam rockets were also fired in a separate attack on the western Negev, slamming into the Eshkol Regional Council district. Both landed in open areas. No property damage was reported, and no one was physically injured.

On Friday there were several attacks on southern Israel by Gaza terrorists that prompted the IDF to move to high alert. One rocket reached the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council district. The other exploded in the Eshkol Regional Council district.

Gaza terrorists also fired an RPG (rocket-propelled grenade) anti-tank missile at IDF soldiers patrolling near the southern border on Friday evening. None of the Israeli soldiers were wounded in the attack, and IDF forces responded with tank fire.

Video: Hamas’ leaders threaten Israel and allies with destruction

They aren’t called Islamonazis for nothin’.

on Feb 16, 2012

The Truth about Hamas: http://www.idfblog.com/hamas/
Time and time again Hamas has openly announced its goal to destroy the State of Israel and her allies. Hamas’ leaders dream of an Islamic nation to rise and take over the world.
These are but a few examples of Hamas’ violent, supremacist and misanthropic rhetoric.

Hamas: “We will NEVER recognize Israel”

“The resistance will continue until all Palestinian land, including al-Quds (Jerusalem) has been liberated and all the refugees have returned.”

Barack, Hillary, Leftists…are you deaf?

Ismail Haniyeh

Arutz Sheva – Gaza de facto Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, who is running as a candidate to replace Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal in the group’s upcoming elections, says the terrorist group will “never recognize Israel.”  Haniyeh arrived Friday in Tehran on an official visit as part of his tour of the Middle East.

Having abandoned his longtime office in Damascus as the 11-month uprising in that country rapidly escalates into a full-scale civil war, Haniyeh has been on a regionwide search to find a new home for the terrorist organization’s political bureau. At last report, it appeared that Qatar has agreed to host the group’s politburo headquarters.

Speaking to a crowd from the podium of Azadi Square in Tehran on Saturday, Haniyeh announced, “They want us to recognize the Israeli occupation and cease resistance but, as the representative of the Palestinian people and in the name of all the world’s freedom seekers… we will never recognize Israel.”

Haniyeh, whose remarks were made to commemorate Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, added, “The resistance will continue until all Palestinian land, including al-Quds (Jerusalem) has been liberated and all the refugees have returned.”

Although the stance was a simple repetition of the Hamas charter, it underscores the increased risk to the citizens of the State of Israel posed by the new Palestinian Authority “unity government” agreement signed last week by Hamas together with the Ramallah-based Fatah faction.

Hamas has long been a beneficiary of Iran’s generosity both financially and in materiel; both are committed to Israel’s annihilation.

The United States has spent several years providing military training, equipment and technical support to security forces of the Fatah-led PA government, hoping for the day a new PA state would arise in peace alongside the State of Israel.

Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood: Hamas is our role model

And the Muslim Brotherhood is Barack Obama’s role model. The Muslim Brotherhood supports Hamas and the Obama Administration supports the Muslim Brotherhood. The circle is complete.

Ismail Haniyeh

Ynet – Gaza’s Hamas premier was in Egypt Monday on his first trip outside the blockaded territory since the Islamists overran it in 2007, saying his meeting with his Islamic ideological mentors threatens Israel.

Ismail Haniyeh discussed Mideast politics with the leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, which has emerged as the biggest winner in the first parliamentary elections in post-uprising Egypt, capturing nearly half of the seats so far.

Hamas is considered an offshoot of the Brotherhood.

Brotherhood leader Mohammed Badie met Haniyeh at the group’s newly inaugurated headquarters in a Cairo suburb.

“The Brotherhood center has always embraced issues of liberation, foremost the Palestinian issue,” Badie said, according to Egypt’s state Middle East News Agency.

He added that Hamas has served as a role model to the Brotherhood in its reconciliation with the Fatah movement and in closing the recent prisoner swap deal with Israel.

The Brotherhood renounced violence in the 1970s, but it supports Hamas in its “resistance” against Israel.

Hamas is considered a terror group by Israel, the US and EU, killing hundreds of Israelis in attacks, including suicide bombings. The West insists that before it deals with Hamas, the group must renounce violence, recognize Israel and accept existing peace accords. Hamas has refused.

Haniyeh described Hamas as the “jihadi movement of the Brotherhood with a Palestinian face.” He said his visit to the Brotherhood center would confuse and frighten Israel.

Our presence with the Brotherhood threatens the Israeli entity,” Haniyeh said according to MENA.

Israel has expressed concern that a new Egyptian government under Islamist influence might cancel Egypt’s 1979 peace treaty with Israel.

Hamas’ Haniyeh reiterates that Palestinians will never give up terror or goal of destroying Israel

Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh addresses thousands in Gazastan, preaching relentless war. This is the guy Mahmoud Abbas has been kissing up to recently, in an attempt at reunification of their respective terror cults.

Rightly so, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said unequivocally on Sunday that Israel will not negotiate with the Palestinian Authority if Hamas joins the PA government, .

That, of course, won’t stop Obama, Sarkozy, Clinton, and the rest of the moronic leaders in the world from demanding Netanyahu sacrifice her security for their farcical fantasies.

It is inconceivable that the Obama Administration and Hillary Clinton’s State Department could be unaware of this video, or dozens like it. One, therefore, can only conclude that those in the West who continue to talk about peace are either too stupid and incompetent to lead, or just plain evil.

Palwatch – Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh:
“We say today, explicitly, so it cannot be explained otherwise, that the armed resistance and the armed struggle are the path and the strategic choice for liberating the Palestinian land, from the [Mediterranean] sea to the [Jordan] river, and for the expulsion of the invaders and usurpers [Israel] from the blessed land of Palestine. The Hamas movement will lead Intifada after Intifada until we liberate Palestine – all of Palestine, Allah willing. Allah Akbar and praise Allah. We say with transparency and in a clear manner, that Palestinian reconciliation – and all sides must know this – cannot come at the expense of [our] principles, at the expense of the resistance. These principles are absolute and cannot be disputed: Palestine – all of Palestine – is from the sea to the river. We won’t relinquish one inch of the land of Palestine. The involvement of Hamas at any stage with the interim objective of liberation of [only[ Gaza, the West Bank, or Jerusalem, does not replace its strategic view concerning Palestine and the land of Palestine.”

Hamas – Fatah to release their fellow terrorists as ‘show of good faith’

Obama and Hillary must be thrilled.

Abbas’s PLO and rival terrorist scum, Hamas, continue to move closer together. Neither group accepts the Jewish State, and both continue to declare their undying determination to destroy Israel no matter the cost. Neither their words or actions, however, dissuade the Obama Administration, EU, or UN from supporting them.

Arutz Sheva – Hamas and Fatah are preparing to release the lion’s share of their respective ‘political prisoners’ by the end of the year.

“By the end of the year, all political detainees will be released except those who wish to remain in custody for special reasons related to their security both in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip,” the PA-affiliated Ma’an News Agency quoted PA negotiator Munib al-Masri on Saturday.

The move comes on the heels of reconciliation talks between the rival factions in Cairo on Thursday that resulted in an announcement that Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other terror factions would be joining the PLO.

According to al-Masri, security concerns pertaining to detainees remaining in custody included both targeted killing by Israel and attacks by competing factions before the reconciliation agreement goes into effect.

Israeli security observers note the fear of potential targeted killings by Israel indicates that many of the prisoners are not political detainees, but terrorists with Israeli blood on their hands.

Following Hamas’ seizure of Gaza from the Palestinian Authority in its bloody 2007 putsch, during which Hamas terrorists threw Fatah patients out of hospital windows, both factions began arresting the other’s members – especially those affiliated with the PA and Hamas ‘security services.’

Security officers from both factions have been tied to terror attacks on Israeli civilians in Judea, Samaria, and southern Israel on numerous occasions. Just three weeks ago Israel reportedly snatched a Hamas security officer from Sinai who was planning to kidnap Israelis.

Palestinian Legislative Council speaker Salim Zanoun said the prisoner exchange was one of a series of goodwill gestures between the factions as talks for “reconstructing” the PLO and inducting Hamas and its terror allies into the organization. Continue reading

Hamas establishes rocket factories in Sinai

They think that by building weapons factories in Sinai they are immune to Israeli bombing. Think again, scumbags.

Jerusalem Post – Hamas has established forward bases and rocket production facilities in the Sinai Peninsula in an effort to protect them from Israeli air strikes, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

By establishing the facilities in Egypt, Hamas aims to protect its assets since it believes Israel will not strike targets inside Egypt due to the affect it would have on bilateral relations.

Israel has called on Cairo to increase its efforts to restore order in Sinai and to prevent attacks, but the Egyptian military has held back from dismantling the Hamas infrastructure in the peninsula.

More than a dozen Egyptian army battalions allowed into Sinai with Israel’s permission (required because of limits placed on Egyptian forces there under the peace treaty) are still operating there, although with limited success in stopping terrorist activity and arms smuggling to the Gaza Strip.

Recent arms smuggled into Gaza have included advanced weaponry stolen from Libyan military storehouses such as Russian-made shoulder-to-air missiles.

Israel’s primary concern with Sinai is that it is being used by Palestinians to launch attacks into Israel while taking advantage of the open southern border.

Hamas proudly aligns itself with the Muslim Brotherhood

As Imam-in-Chief Barack Hussein Obama and Sharia Princess Hillary Clinton are so enamored with the Muslim Brotherhood and the reunification of the PLO with Hamas, this is surely music to their ears.

Ynet (h/t Weasel Zippers) — A senior Hamas source told the London-based Arabic-language al-Hayat newspaper on Saturday that the Palestinian organization has joined the global movement of the Muslim Brotherhood.

According to the source, the move took place as early as two months ago. The expression “a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood — Palestine” has been added to Hamas’ official name — “The Islamic Resistance Movement.”

The source added that the move had nothing to do with recent changes in the Middle East following the Arab Spring.

“Following thorough discussions, which lasted more than a year and a half, we saw the need to take this step as the movement is growing and there was a need to lead it to independence instead of being dependent on the Muslim Brotherhood organization in Jordan.

“Hamas no longer belongs to any organization, but has become completely independent,” he said, adding that the group was now part of the global Muslim Brotherhood organization and was officially represented there.

Despite its official admission into the global organization, the source noted that Hamas would continue carrying the flag of armed resistance.

Hamas: Muhammad’s teachings are “the fire with which we harvest the skulls of the Jews”

These are the people and the religion that Barack Hussein Obama and the European community spend so much time flattering.

MEMRI — Following are excerpts from statements made at a rally of the Palestinian Al-Ahrar movement in Gaza, a pro-Hamas group that split from Fatah, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on November 3, 2011:

Rally organizer: Praise be to you, our Lord. You have made our killing of the Jews an act of worship, through which we come closer to you.

Allah’s prayers upon you, our beloved Prophet [Muhammad]. You have made your teachings into constitutions for us – the light with which we dissipate the darkness of the occupation, and the fire with which we harvest the skulls of the Jews.

Yes, our beloved brothers, even though the entire world moves closer to Allah through fasting, through hunger, and through tears, we are a people that moves closer to Allah through blood, through body parts, and through martyrs.

Oh sons of Palestine, oh sons of the Gaza Strip, oh mujahideen – wage Jihad, wreak destruction, blow up and harvest the heads of the Zionists. Words are useless by now. The lie of peace is gone. Only weapons are of any use – the path of [recently killed] Yousuf and Ali, the path of martyrdom and Jihad. Only our wounds talk on our behalf. We speak nothing but the language of struggle, of Jihad, or rockets, of bombs, of cannons and of martyrdom-seekers. This is the language in which we talk and negotiate with the Zionist enemy.

Hamas plans huge celebration for return of hundreds of terrorists

The Hamas Islamonazis are going to be partying all week long as they hail the victorious return of their fellow savages.

Israel exchanged 1,027 terrorists for the lone soldier, Gilad Schalit, who was kidnapped back in 2006.

280 of the terrorists are directly responsible for the deaths of 599 Israeli citizens. Some were serving 5 life sentences or more.

Since 2004, 183 Israelis have been killed in terror attacks carried out by terrorists who were released from prison.

Jerusalem Post – Hamas is planning huge celebrations in the Gaza Strip to welcome Palestinian prisoners who will be released as part of the prisoner exchange with Israel, Hamas officials said over the weekend.

On the other hand, the officials expressed fear that the Palestinian Authority security forces would try to prevent similar celebrations in the West Bank to avoid boosting Hamas’s popularity.

Hamas is planning huge celebrations in the Gaza Strip to welcome Palestinian prisoners who will be released as part of the prisoner exchange with Israel, Hamas officials said over the weekend.

On the other hand, the officials expressed fear that the Palestinian Authority security forces would try to prevent similar celebrations in the West Bank to avoid boosting Hamas’s popularity.

The celebrations in the Gaza Strip will include “military marches” by hundreds of gunmen belonging to Hamas’s armed wing, Izzadin Kassam, and the Popular Resistance Committees, one of the groups that took part in the kidnapping of IDF soldier Gilad Schalit.

During the major rally, which will be held in Gaza City, Palestinian gunmen are expected to participate in a show that re-enacts the abduction of Schalit in June 2006.

Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh will be the key speaker at the event, which has been called “Fulfilling the Pledge to the Free [prisoners].”

The released prisoners will enter the Gaza Strip via the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, said a senior Hamas official.

From there, the inmates will be taken by bus to Gaza City, where tens of thousands of Hamas supporters and their families will be waiting for them, the official added.

“This is going to be one of the largest rallies in the Gaza Strip ever,” he said. “People here are so excited that they have already begun decorating the streets and houses with large banners welcoming the released heroes.”

Large tents will also be set up outside the houses of the prisoners to receive well-wishers for five hours a day for the next week.

Kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Schalit coming home, exchanged for 1000 terrorists

After more than 5 years as a Hamas hostage, the young Israeli soldier, Gilad Schalit, now 25, who was kidnapped in June of 1996, may finally be coming home.

Reports are that Israel will swap 1000 Arab terrorists for Schalit. So far there are no details on how many of the terrorists have blood on their hands. The news will come as a big relief to Israelis, but the high ransom, and the near certainty that other Israelis will die at the hands of the released terrorists may temper the celebration. Since 2000, at least 182 Israelis were killed by terrorists released in past deals.

The released terrorists will all be welcomed as returning heroes by the Arabs, and their release will encourage even more attacks and attempted kidnappings.

UPDATE: The Jerusalem Post reports the swap details:

…In return for Schalit, Israel will release 1,000 prisoners, some 400 of them prisoners serving long sentences for some of the worst terrorist atrocities in the country’s history.

In the first stage, 450 prisoners will be released. Of those, Israel agreed to release 96 prisoners to the West Bank and 14 to east Jerusalem. Another 203 from the West Bank will be deported to Gaza and overseas. Further, 131 prisoners from Gaza will be released back to Gaza.

Schalit will then be sent to Israel, and another 550 prisoners – including women and minors – will be released.

Six Israeli Arabs will be released to their homes.

Jailed terrorists Marwan Barghouti , Ibraim Hamed , Ahmed Sa’adat and Abdullah Barghouti will not be released as part of the deal.

Reuters – Israel and Gaza’s Hamas Islamist rulers have agreed to swap hundreds of Palestinian prisoners for the lone Israeli captive soldier Gilad Shalit, resolving one of the most emotive and intractable issues between them.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in Jerusalem that the deal was “finally summarized and both sides signed.”

In the Gaza Strip, Hamas confirmed that it only remained to conclude technical arrangements for the exchange in the coming days.

The breakthrough pact, after many false dawns in years of secret efforts to free Shalit since he was captured in 2006, has no direct bearing on Middle East peace negotiations.

But it was virtually certain to improve the climate for restarting talks that have been stalled for over a year.

A source involved in the talks said the long elusive pact had been mediated by Egypt, playing a role which is likely to strengthen Israel’s ties with Cairo, which have suffered since the fall of Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak in the Egyptian revolution this year.

Abu Ubeida, a spokesman for Hamas’ armed wing, told Reuters the agreement in principle was sealed.

“We are in the process of completing the technical arrangements to complete the deal within days,” he said.

The agreement calls for the release of 1,000 Palestinians in two stages, the first involving 450 to be swapped for Shalit, with the remaining 550 to be freed later. (more >>>)

Sudanese Islamist delegation in Gaza calls for all-out jihad on Israel

Hamas extended an invitation to fellow Islamonazis from Sudan, the same Sudan which has been daily murdering Christians in that country.

This week the United Nations will vote to give the Fakestinians their own state, of which Hamas and their ilk would eventually rule as they already do in Gaza. Have a look at what blind, seething fanatical Islamic hate looks like.

MEMRI – Director of Sudanese Ministry of International Cooperation Ahmad Malek Ahmad: The way to achieve change is through fighting, through Jihad. There is no other way. Today, on Jerusalem Day, we saw the banners of the various mujahideen factions raised… You could see these banners raised by the men, whose cries ripped through the skies: “The Koran is our constitution, the Prophet Muhammad is our master, Jihad is our path, and death for the sake of Allah is our loftiest aspiration.” I wish I could have kissed all these banners.

[…]

We’ve come here, along with the mujahid Hajj Majed, commander of the mujahideen in Sudan. He has come from Kurdufan, along with 5,000 mujahideen, in order to fight the enemy who incited against us – the Jews. Allah willing, we will be victorious. This is Hajj Majed, and he yearns to meet his death here.

Allah Akbar.
