Gaza’s millionaires funding Hamas through underground smuggling

What kind of “ghetto” has 600 millionaires living the life of Riley?

Palestinian Authority employees wait in front of an ATM machine in Gaza city to receive parts of their salaries.

Jewish Press – The world often thinks of the Gaza Strip, home to 1.4 million Palestinians, as one of the poorest places on earth, where people live in misery and squalor.

But according to an investigative report published in the pan-Arab newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat, there are at least 600 millionaires living in the Gaza Strip. The newspaper report also refutes the claim that the Gaza Strip has been facing a humanitarian crisis because of an Israeli blockade.

Mohammed Dahlan, the former Palestinian Authority security commander of the Gaza Strip, further said last week that Hamas was the only party that was laying siege to the Gaza Strip; that it is Hamas, and not Israel or Egypt, that is strangling and punishing the people there.

The Palestinian millionaires, according to the report, have made their wealth thanks to the hundreds of underground tunnels along the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt.

Informed Palestinian sources revealed that every day, in addition to weapons, thousands of tons of fuel, medicine, various types of merchandise, vehicles, electrical appliances, drugs, medicine and cigarettes are smuggled into the Gaza Strip through more than 400 tunnels. A former Sudanese government official who visited the Gaza Strip lately was quoted as saying that he found basic goods that were not available in Sudan. Almost all the tunnels are controlled by the Hamas government, which has established a special commission to oversee the smuggling business, which makes the Hamas government the biggest benefactor of the smuggling industry.

Palestinians estimate that 25% of the Hamas government’s budget comes from taxes imposed on the owners of the underground tunnels.

For example, Hamas has imposed a 25% tax and a $2000 fee on every car that is smuggled into the Gaza Strip. Hamas also charges $15 dollars for each ton of cement, eight cents for a pack of cigarettes and 50 cents for each liter of fuel smuggled through the tunnels.

For Hamas, the Palestinian sources said, the tunnels are a matter of life or death.

Now, however, Hamas is facing a huge crisis as the Egyptian authorities plan to regain control over Sinai in the aftermath of the recent killing of 16 Egyptian border guards by unidentified terrorists.

The Egyptian army appears to be determined to destroy the underground tunnels out of fear that they are being used to smuggle not only goods and fuel, but also Islamist terrorists who pose a threat to Egypt’s national security.

At this stage, however, it is not clear whether Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood President, Mohamed Morsi, would allow his army to cut off one of Hamas’s main sources of income. Morsi’s policy thus far has been to embrace and strengthen Hamas at the expense of the Western-backed Palestinian Authority in the West Bank.

If the Egyptian army succeeds in its anti-terror security crackdown in Sinai, including the demolition of all the underground tunnels that keep Hamas running, it could mark the beginning of the end of the Islamist movement’s rule over the Gaza Strip. But if Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood tie the hands of their generals and prevent them from completing the mission, Hamas will become even stronger and wealthier.

IAF bombs two Gaza weapons production and storage facilities

Kaboom.

Ynet – The IDF retaliated to the recent firing of rockets at Sderot and bombed two weapons production and storage facilities in the northern Gaza Strip overnight. The IDF confirmed the report.

According to reports, Air Force jets struck a number posts belonging to Hamas’ military wing as well as Hamas government security posts. Two Palestinian officers were injured.

It was also reported that Gaza security forces evacuated all of their posts for fear of additional attacks.

On Monday, two rockets hit open areas in Sderot and Shaar Hanegev just minutes after President Shimon Peres had left the area after visiting a local school.

Several hours earlier, a rocket was fired at Sderot shortly after the new school year began. Rockets were fired at the southern city on Sunday as well, hitting two factories. No injuries were reported.

Gaza terrorists firing into Sinai, testing new, improved rockets

Israel should test some rockets into Gaza.

Israel Hayom – Palestinian terrorist groups have recently tested rockets by firing them into the Sinai Peninsula, according to Israeli officials. Officials say a large number of rockets were launched into unpopulated areas in Sinai to enhance rocket-launching capabilities.

The tests were said to have focused on improving the range and payloads of the rockets, and Bedouin residents of Sinai were said to have provided assistance for the tests using satellite navigation devices.

On July 16, Egyptian media outlets reported that Hamas’ military wing test-fired a rocket into Sinai from the neighboring Gaza Strip several weeks earlier. The rocket, according to the reports, was fired toward central Sinai from the Rafiah area in south Gaza, and was capable of reaching further distances than any other missile in Hamas’ rocket arsenal.

Hamas sources in Gaza called the test launch a success after the rocket landed dozens of kilometers from the Gaza border. The new-model rocket, according to the reports, was developed in Gaza based on knowledge from dismantled long-range missiles smuggled into Gaza from Libya.

In June, two Grad rockets believed to have been fired from Sinai were discovered near Ovda and Mitzpe Ramon in southern Israel, after penetrating more deeply into Israel than ever before.

The rockets hit unpopulated areas, causing no injuries or damage, but the targets appeared to indicate that Sinai-based terrorist organizations, perhaps operating in conjunction with Hamas, were expanding their range.

Desperate Palestinian Christians protest forced conversion in Hamas-run Gaza

It’s not just in Gaza where Christians are under attack, it has been going on in the Fatah-controlled ‘West Bank’ for decades now. Islam is Islam no matter where it is found, and no matter who is in charge. But don’t expect to hear a peep about it from the Left. For Leftists, Islam is doing them a favor.

Haaretz (h/t Weasel Zippers) — Dozens of Gaza Christians staged a rare public protest Monday, claiming two congregants were forcibly converted to Islam and were being held against their will.

The small but noisy demonstration showed the increasingly desperate situation facing the tiny minority.

Protesters banged on a church bell and chanted, “With our spirit, with our blood we will sacrifice ourselves for you, Jesus.”

Gaza police say the two are staying with a Muslim religious official at their request, because they fear retribution from their families converting to Islam. Two mediators said the two – a 25-year-old man and a woman with three children – appeared to have embraced Islam of their free will. Forced conversions have been unheard of in Gaza before.

Since the Islamic militant Hamas seized power five years ago, Christians have felt increasingly embattled, but have mostly kept silent.

There are growing fears among Gaza Christians that their rapidly shrinking community could disappear through emigration and conversions.

Gaza terrorists let loose barrage of rockets on Israel’s Sderot, school hit

Rocket attacks from Fakestinian-occupied Gaza continue to plague Israel’s south. The Arab terrorists have fired over 150 rockets into Israel in the past several days, adversely affecting the lives of some 1 million Israeli citizens.

So far during 2012, over 300 rockets have been fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip. The only word from either the international community or the Obama Administration have been demands of “restraint” for Israel. No country in the world would put up with such harassment, only Israel is told that it must. If any other country had such a flea on its ass they’d have swatted the parasite a long time ago and been done with it.

Times of Israel – Gaza-based terrorists fired 22 rockets into southern Israel on Saturday, causing damage to a school and factory. The latest attacks bring the total number of rockets and other projectiles fired from the Strip to approximately 150 over the past six days.

The majority of the rockets launched Saturday were aimed at the southern city of Sderot, but several landed in other parts of the Eshkol, Hof Ashkelon and Shaar Hanegev Regional Councils, which border the Strip.

One of the rockets exploded in Sderot’s industrial zone, causing moderate-to-severe injuries to one man and damaging a factory.

According to Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived at the scene, the 50-year-old man was hit in the neck by shrapnel from the explosion.

Another rocket caused damage to a school in Sderot, but there were no reports of injuries. The school had been reinforced against rocket fire.

Several area residents were treated for shock.

Iron Dome shot down five of the incoming rockets, according to Israel Radio.

Six of the rockets landed around neighboring Netivot.

50 rockets fired into Israel in past 24 hours, IAF strikes 7 terrorist sites in Gaza

The rocket fire continues.

IAF aircraft attacked six terror sites in the Gaza Strip overnight, Wednesday (June 20). An additional strike was carried out this early this morning, targeting a terror sites in the northern Gaza Strip. Hits were confirmed and all aircraft returned safely to their airbases.

The sites were targeted in response to ongoing rocket fire from the Gaza Strip over the past few days, targeting civilian communities in southern Israel.

Most schools in the region surrounding the Gaza Strip will be closed, and civilians are advised to stay indoors and in protected areas.

Arutz Sheva – IAF aircraft struck a terror target in northern Gaza early Wednesday morning, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit announced in a statement.

The statement said direct hits were identified and all aircraft returned safely to their bases.

Overnight Tuesday, IAF aircraft struck six terror targets throughout Gaza.

The air strikes came in response to the barrage of rockets that were fired toward southern Israel by terrorists in Hamas-controlled Gaza. 45 terrorist rockets slammed into southern Israel between midnight on Tuesday and 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

At least ten additional rockets were fired by terrorists in the overnight hours Tuesday. In one case, an exploding rocket caused damage to a building. There were no physical injuries.

Most of the rockets were of the short range Qassam type but three Grad missiles were fired at Netivot. In one attack on Tuesday evening, four Border Police officers were hurt, one of them seriously.

Wednesday morning’s IAF strike marks the fifth such air strike in the last 24 hours. At least six terrorists were killed in previous strikes. An IAF strike Tuesday afternoon severely injured a man who was on a motorcycle, Gaza sources said.

Gaza zoo includes dead, fly-drawing stuffed animals in cages to avoid caring for live ones

Meet the most miserable zoo in the world. It would be comical if it weren’t so pathetic.

Of course, in the video they blame Israel for the stinking excuse for a zoo. Leave it to the Fakestinians to run the crappiest, most barbaric zoo in the world. No civilized people would operate such a filthy and cruel zoo like this today. Where are you, PETA?

If the Hamas weren’t spending the hundreds of millions of dollars it receives from the international community on rockets destined for Israeli children, they could operate a decent zoo with healthy, living animals. But, of course, killing Jewish children is far more important to them than educating and entertaining their own.

It is the Hamas who should be in the cages – behind signs that read: ‘Don’t Feed the Animals.’

KHAN YOUNIS, Gaza Strip (AP) — There is an afterlife for animals at the Khan Younis zoo in the impoverished Gaza Strip.

Animals who die in the dilapidated park return to be displayed as stuffed creatures, giving visitors the unusual zoo experience of petting a lion, tiger or crocodile. But because taxidermy in the largely isolated Palestinian territory is not advanced and expertise and materials are in short supply, the experience can be grim.

Stuffed monkey (left).

Flies swarm around some of the 10 animals that have been embalmed so far. The makeshift cages housing the exhibits — fashioned from fencing salvaged from Jewish settlements that Israel dismantled in 2005 — are littered with empty soda cans and other trash.

An emaciated-looking stuffed lion, its coat patchy and mangy, lies on an exhibit cobbled together from crates and shipping pallets. A monkey had missing limbs. A porcupine had a hole in its head.

The zoo’s 65 live animals, which include ostriches, monkeys, turtles, deer, a llama, a lion and a tiger, don’t fare much better. During a recent visit, children poked chocolate, potato chips and bread through the wire. There’s no zookeeper on the premises. Gaza has no government body that oversees zoos, and medical treatment is done by consulting over the phone with zoo veterinarians in Egypt.

Video: Hamas urges women to blow themselves up

One of the International community’s most beloved Islamic groups.

Arutz Sheva – A Hamas legislator gave a fiery speech, urging women to blow themselves up for the sake of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa mosque.

Speaking before the Global March on Jerusalem, Mushri al-Masri addressed a score of Palestinian women in Gaza in a speech broadcast on Hamas Al Aqsa television and translated by the IDF on its website.

His constant theme was to sacrifice Arab blood “for the Al Aqsa mosque,” which is on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

“The Hamas woman in Gaza, the Palestinian woman, says that our blood is a sacrifice for Al Aqsa mosque and that we will give Al Aqsa mosque blood and pave the road with body parts,” the Hamas legislator declared.

He called on Gaza women to march towards Israel as part of “one message – that the Hamas’ compass and direction are clear; they are not vague or obscure. “

“Palestine, all of Palestine and Jerusalem, all of Jerusalem – its west before its east, Palestine with every grain of its earth with every particle is the property of the Palestinian people and the rifle of Al Kassam Brigades and the willingness of the Jihad warrior to fight for the sake of Allah and sacrifice her sons,” Al Masri continued.

He called for “a struggle and a revolution that will say to this enemy, ‘You have no place on our land.’”

The Global March took place on Friday with less than 50,000 demonstrators in Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Lebanon, far less than two million promised.

Video: Terrorist says Hamas has lost control over Gaza

Gaza is nothing but one big terrorist ant farm.

(Worth watching just to get a load of the interviewer’s hair style.)

Arutz Sheva – The Popular Resistance Committees terror group adds further evidence to reports that Hamas cannot control other terrorist groups in Gaza.

A video released by the IDF shows a Hamas television interview last Saturday with “Abu Mujahed,” spokesman of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC). Abu Mujahed admits that Hamas allows his group complete freedom of action in Gaza.

[...]  Israel’s Strategic Affairs Ministry Director Yosef Kuperwasser recently told an Israeli security conference that Hamas “is not capable of implementing this responsibility.”

“It is not in control of what happens in Gaza. Islamic Jihad does what it wants, the Popular Resistance Committees do what they want, and the Fatah military wing does everything it wants,” he said.

[...]  By allowing the PRC to operate as an ostensibly independent group, Hamas is able to carry out terror attacks against Israelis while maintaining an official stance of “restraint,” said a spokesmen for the IDF, which holds Hamas accountable for all terrorist attacks from Gaza.

Terrorist barrage passes 200 rockets, 1 million Israelis living under threat

Over 200 rockets have been fired by Gaza Strip terrorists at Israel in the past 72 hours, targeting Israeli communities including the cities of Be’er Sheva, Ashdod, Ashkelon, and more adding up to 1,000,000 people. Over 100 of these rockets hit Israeli territory injuring 22 civilians and causing damage to property in the cities of Ashdod and Be’er Sheva.

Would the U.S. put up with such a thing? Would China? Russia? France? England? No one would. The Jews are the only people on earth that the world demands it embrace its own annhilation. Hey world – screw you.

Ashkelon’s Barzilai Medical Center has evacuated patients into underground bomb shelters. The children’s wards, premature baby unit, and maternity unit will all be moved to underground shelters as a precaution against a possible missile strike on the hospital. In addition oncology and dialysis patients will receive their treatments in the shelters.

A rocket hit a car in Ashdod and another fell near Gedera Monday afternoon, the latest in a series of over 30 rockets to be fired at southern Israel from Gaza since morning.

Seven people in Ashdod were treated for shock; the rocket caused damage to a building and several cars.

From the archives of unrepentant useful idiots

Here are Israel’s “sages” back in 2005 scoffing at the idea that after the forced expulsion of Jews from Gaza that there would be any threat from the terrorists. They mocked those on the right for their prediction that an expulsion would only lead to endless rocketing.

Arutz ShevaArutz Sheva now presents a video of an Israel National News (Arutz Sheva) television in 2009, when the IDF entered Gaza in the counterterrorist Cast Lead campaign against terroroists, aired a Channel Two program, in which Amit Segal viewed promising speeches in 2005 on behalf of the “Disengagement” program to exit Gaza.

A majority of MKs voted in favor of the law that resulted in the expulsion of more than 9,000 Jews from Gaza, as well as from four Jewish communities in northern Samaria, and the withdrawal of all IDF forces.

“There  is an argument according to which there will be a threat…a threat and retreat…a threat on the Negev communities,” said Meir Sheetrit, formerly of the Likud and now in the Kadima party, which was  founded by Ariel Sharon after he feared the Likud would not approve his plan.

“I have never before heard such a ridiculous argument,” MK Sheetrit proclaimed.

Meretz MK Ran Cohen stated from the Knesset podium, “The Disengagement is good for security,”

He then scoffed at the “right wing people [who] stood here and talked about Kassams flying from here to there….If we don’t go out of Gaza in two or three years, maybe after one year, the [rocket] range will reach Ashkelon.

Israel targets Islamic Jihad rocket depot

Kaboom.

on Mar 12, 2012 – More than 160 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip, and struck major population centers in southern Israel in the last 71 hours. More than 1,000,000 Israelis are under the threat of rocket fire.

In response to this terror attacks, a rocket depot used by the Islamic Jihad’s rocket launching infrastructure in Jabalya was targeted. As can be seen, ammunition exploding caused secondary explosions.

Gaza terrorists rain down over 90 rockets on Israel’s south

The world’s favorite terrorists are giving them something to cheer about.

Iron Dome intercepts 25 rockets aimed city centers; 8 injured, including 1 critically from rocket shrapnel on Friday night in rural region; Safety instructions in place for residents living within 40 km of Gaza. The cities of Be’er Sheva, Ashdod and Ashkelon, are home to some 520,000 people.

(Watch the video of the IDF blowing up the terrorist scum as they prepare to launch before the hypocrites at YouTube takes it down. The understatement of the caption “Terror squad launch thrwarted” is priceless.)

Jerusalem Post – Cities, towns, and farming regions in southern Israel were targeted with waves of rockets fired from Gaza throughout Friday and Saturday, setting off air raid sirens and injuring eight people.

Palestinian terrorists fired 92 rockets – Qassams and the longer-range Grads – at civilian regions. Of those, the Iron Dome anti-rocket system intercepted 25 projectiles heading directly into city centers in Ashdod, Be’ersheba and Ashkelon. 67 rockets exploded in Israeli territory. The barrage came after the IAF foiled a major terror attack, killing the secretary general of the Popular Resistance Committees, Zuhair Qaisi.

on Mar 9, 2012

Eight people were injured on Friday evening. In the Eshkol Regional Council, a 40-year-old man was seriously injured from rocket shrapnel, a second man was moderately injured by shrapnel in his stomach, and a third was lightly injured. Paramedics said the injured were foreign workers. An electric pole and a vehicle were also damaged in the same area.

The seriously injured man was airlifted to the Soroka Medical Center in Be’ersheba, and remains in critical condition.

Two people were lightly injured in a car accident that occurred during an air raid siren at the Emunim Junction between Ashdod and Ashkelon on Friday evening.

Three other people in the South were lightly injured while fleeing for cover during sirens. One civilian was treated for shock. The injured were taken to the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot and the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon for treatment. (more >>>)

Israel: Significant increase in terrorist attacks during February

Arab terrorists carried out 100 attacks against Israel in the Gaza Strip, Judea and Samaria and the Jerusalem area. 36 rockets and mortar shells were fired at Israeli communities.

And no mention of any of it in Obama’s AIPAC speech.

IDF – The rise in the number of attacks against Israel was recorded on all fronts. The increase in Gaza-based attacks, with 31 attacks in comparison with 15 in January, is also due to an increase in rocket launchings against Israel: 36 launchings compared to 9 in January.

In Judea Samaria and Jerusalem region most attacks are in the form of explosives. The increase in attacks Judea and Samaria included 42 attacks, as opposed to 27 in January, in Jerusalem 27 attacks were reported, as opposed to 14 in January.

Terrorist attacks conducted this month resulted in two injuries: one Israeli citizen on February 10 as a result of rocket launchings by terrorists from the Gaza Strip at Israeli southern civilian communities, as well as a foreign reporter on February 14 who was wounded by an explosive in Jerusalem.

In the Jerusalem and the Judea and Samaria region, most attacks executed in February (67 out of 69) were in the form of explosives.

Throughout February 2012, 36 rockets and one mortar shell were fired by Gaza Strip terrorists towards Israel southern civilian communities in 28 attacks, as compared to 9 rockets and 7 mortar shells launched during the month of January in 14 attacks.

Gaza terrorists shell Israel’s south

Must be Friday!

Ynet – Three Qassam rockets fired by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza Thursday afternoon landed in open areas within the limits of the Ashkelon Beach Regional Council. There were no reports of injury or damage.

The rocket alert system detected a fourth launch, and security forces were searching for the projectile’s landing site.

This week has seen numerous rocket attacks on Israel‘s southern region. The barrages did not result in any injuries, but the escalation prompted Israel’s UN Ambassador Ron Prosor to send a short but stern letter to Secretary Ban Ki-moon and to the members of the Security Council in which he condemned their silence on the rocket attacks emanating from the Hamas-ruled territory.

“Since I last wrote to you ten days ago, ten more rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip into Israeli communities.?” wrote Prosor. “Ten days, ten rockets, and not one condemnation.”

“The Red Alert siren in Israel’s southern towns should raise red flags in the Security Council. The Council must act, and do so immediately,” he demanded.

Prosor concluded by saying, “It is time for the Council to speak with one voice and act with one purpose against the terrorists that operate with impunity in the Gaza Strip.”

The UN has long been silent on the issue of Gaza rocket fire aimed at Israel. Messages on the matter are only issued during major rounds of conflicts between the IDF and Gaza terrorist groups, if at all.

Gaza terrorists ring in new year by sending phosphorous-containing mortar fire into Israel

Gaza sent Israel a New Year’s greeting card in the form of 2 mortars. According to the Jerusalem Post, the mortars contained phosphorous. Phosphorous is designed to ignite a fire around the impact zone. The chemical is banned by international law for use near civilians.

Hopefully, Israel will be responding shortly with a greeting card of their own.

Arutz Sheva – Gaza terrorists resumed 11 years of aerial attacks on Israel late Sunday morning, firing two mortars shells on the western Negev. No one was injured, and no damage was reported.

The IDF reported on Twitter, “2 rockets fired from #Gaza just landed in Eshkol Regional Council, home to 11,000 Israelis.”

The Popular Resistance Committees terrorist organization, which was involved in the kidnapping of soldier Gilad Shalit in June 2006, claimed responsibility for the attacks. The IDF holds the de facto Hamas government in Gaza as responsible for all terrorist actions.

If the past policy continues, the IDF will launch a counterterrorist strike within the next 24 hours on terrorist rocket launching squads, weapons manufacturing factories and warehouses or tunnels used by terrorists to smuggle weapons and to infiltrate into Gaza Belt communities.

The IDF on Saturday shot and wounded one terrorist who had approached the security fence, which is off limits.

On Friday, an Air Force strike eliminated a senior terrorist after the IDF identified a terrorist squad moments before firing rockets at Israeli civilians.

IAF foils Gaza rocket attack seconds before launching

The IAF reported success in an air raid that killed an Army of Islam terrorist and wounded five others as he prepared to launch rockets.

Enjoy your 72 Helen Thomas look-alikes, creeps.

Arutz Sheva – The IAF launched an air strike on a terror cell in northern Gaza early Friday morning as it prepared to launch rockets at Israeli targets.

The IDF spokesperson’s officer reported a direct hit.

According to the IDF the terror cell was the same one that has been launching missiles at Gaza-area communities over the past week.

The information office for the Ezzedeen al-Qassam Brigades confirmed the IDF had launched an airstrike on northern Gaza, saying it killed Muaman Abu Daf of the Army of Islam.

The Army of Islam is a loose affiliation of Al Qaeda affiliated terror cells whose numbers are dominated by radical Salafi volunteers from neighboring Egypt.

Hamas said five other Gaza residents were wounded in the attack.

On Thursday the IAF carried out air raids in central and northern Gaza targeting a “terror activity site” and “terror tunnels.”

The Palestinian Authority affiliated Maan News Agency later reported the target in central Gaza was a training site for the Islamic Jihad terror group’s al-Quds Brigades.

The raid on the Islamic Jihad site comes afar Tuesday’s dual targeted killings of Islamic Jihad terrorists Rami Daoud Kafarneh and Hazam Muhammad Saadi Alshaker.

Both men had carried out rocket and mortar attacks in the preceding days and were reported by Israel’s security services to be planning attacks along Israel’s border with Egypt in the Sinai.

IDF nails terrorists in Gaza

Buh-bye.

Jerusalem Post – The Israel Air Force, working with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), launched two missile attacks against terrorist groups in Gaza Tuesday night, killing at least three and, according Palestinian reports, injuring at least 11. Several hours later, Palestinians fired a Kassam rocket from inside Gaza but it exploded inside the Strip.

Hamas identified the man killed in the earlier strike as Abdullah Telbani, an operative of World Jihad’s Saraya Al-Quds wing in his 20s. Two other Palestinians were also injured in the attack when the explosion ripped through their tuk tuk, a motorized rickshaw, according to medics in the Strip. They were taken to Amal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.

The IDF Spokesman’s Unit confirmed a second strike targeting terrorists planning to infiltrate into Israel.

One of the terrorists targeted was Rami Douad Jabber Kafarna, a Jebaliya resident born in 1984 who was active in the armed wing of Hamas and took part in firing high-trajectory weapons at Israel, the IDF said.

Another target was Hazam Mohammed Sa’adi Al-Shakar, an Islamic Jihad militant from Beit Hanoun born 1985 who had been a Hamas activist and hid munitions in Gaza.

The IDF confirmed directly hitting their target, but the fate of the men remains unclear; Palestinian sources did not report any additional deaths.

In a statement, the IDF Spokesman said, “The IDF will not tolerate attempts to harm Israeli citizens or IDF soldiers and will continue to operate strongly and decisively against anyone who uses terrorism against Israel,” adding that it holds Hamas responsible for all terrorist activity coming out of Gaza.

Army radio reported that the defense establishment was preparing for rockets in response to the attack.

Palestinians fired two short-range rockets into Israel on Sunday and Monday, causing no damage. No Gaza factions claimed responsibility for those attacks.

Israel has also said it is on alert for attempts by Gazan gunmen to slip into neighboring Egypt and attack it from there.

Hamas’ Haniyeh reiterates that Palestinians will never give up terror or goal of destroying Israel

Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh addresses thousands in Gazastan, preaching relentless war. This is the guy Mahmoud Abbas has been kissing up to recently, in an attempt at reunification of their respective terror cults.

Rightly so, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said unequivocally on Sunday that Israel will not negotiate with the Palestinian Authority if Hamas joins the PA government, .

That, of course, won’t stop Obama, Sarkozy, Clinton, and the rest of the moronic leaders in the world from demanding Netanyahu sacrifice her security for their farcical fantasies.

It is inconceivable that the Obama Administration and Hillary Clinton’s State Department could be unaware of this video, or dozens like it. One, therefore, can only conclude that those in the West who continue to talk about peace are either too stupid and incompetent to lead, or just plain evil.

Palwatch – Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh:
“We say today, explicitly, so it cannot be explained otherwise, that the armed resistance and the armed struggle are the path and the strategic choice for liberating the Palestinian land, from the [Mediterranean] sea to the [Jordan] river, and for the expulsion of the invaders and usurpers [Israel] from the blessed land of Palestine. The Hamas movement will lead Intifada after Intifada until we liberate Palestine – all of Palestine, Allah willing. Allah Akbar and praise Allah. We say with transparency and in a clear manner, that Palestinian reconciliation – and all sides must know this – cannot come at the expense of [our] principles, at the expense of the resistance. These principles are absolute and cannot be disputed: Palestine – all of Palestine – is from the sea to the river. We won’t relinquish one inch of the land of Palestine. The involvement of Hamas at any stage with the interim objective of liberation of [only[ Gaza, the West Bank, or Jerusalem, does not replace its strategic view concerning Palestine and the land of Palestine.”

Video: IAF targets Hamas weapons facility in Gaza

The IAF struck at a Hamas weapons depot this weekend. In this new video you can see the weapons facility hit by the IAF, followed by numerous secondary explosions, indicating a major storage facility. The video proves, as if any more proof were necessary, that Hamas purposely situates its terrorist activities in civilian areas in order to use their people as human shields.

IDF – Video footage recorded by the Israel Air Force of an air strike it carried out on a weapons facility in the Gaza Strip over the weekend proves that the Hamas terrorist organization stored weapons in the heart of a residential neighborhood in northern Gaza.

In the footage, one can see the initial explosion caused by the IAF strike, followed by a series of secondary explosions that indicate the presence of a large amount of weaponry in the area.

The IDF emphasizes that Hamas chooses to operate in the midst of the civilian population, using it as a human shield.

Early on Sunday morning (December 11), the IAF targeted a terror site in northern Gaza. Directs hits were confirmed. Additional explosions were caused as a result of weapons and rockets stored near the attacked site.

The site was targeted in response to rocket fire from the Gaza into Israel. Over the weekend, around 20 rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel.

Hamas establishes rocket factories in Sinai

They think that by building weapons factories in Sinai they are immune to Israeli bombing. Think again, scumbags.

Jerusalem Post – Hamas has established forward bases and rocket production facilities in the Sinai Peninsula in an effort to protect them from Israeli air strikes, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

By establishing the facilities in Egypt, Hamas aims to protect its assets since it believes Israel will not strike targets inside Egypt due to the affect it would have on bilateral relations.

Israel has called on Cairo to increase its efforts to restore order in Sinai and to prevent attacks, but the Egyptian military has held back from dismantling the Hamas infrastructure in the peninsula.

More than a dozen Egyptian army battalions allowed into Sinai with Israel’s permission (required because of limits placed on Egyptian forces there under the peace treaty) are still operating there, although with limited success in stopping terrorist activity and arms smuggling to the Gaza Strip.

Recent arms smuggled into Gaza have included advanced weaponry stolen from Libyan military storehouses such as Russian-made shoulder-to-air missiles.

Israel’s primary concern with Sinai is that it is being used by Palestinians to launch attacks into Israel while taking advantage of the open southern border.

Gaza terrorists fire 17 rockets into Israel in 24 hours.

Israel’s “peace partners” demonstrate how interested they are in peace. Only Israel is expected to take such attacks.

Jerusalem Post – Terrorists fired four rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israel Saturday morning, Army Radio reported. Two rockets exploded in an open area of the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council after two earlier rockets were fired into the Eshkol Regional Council area .

The latest attacks bring the total number of rockets fired in the past 24 hours to 17. No injuries or damages were reported.

Responding to a series of rockets fired into Israel on Friday, the Israel Air Force struck targets associated with terrorist activity in the Gaza Strip earlier Saturday morning, the IDF Spokesman’s Office said in a statement.

The IAF reported direct hits on its targets, reiterating in the statement that it holds Hamas responsible for all terror activity emanating from Gaza and it will continue to respond forcefully to attacks on Israeli citizens.

Thirteen rockets were fired into Israel on Friday, according to Army Radio. No injuries or damages were reported.

According to Army Radio, defense officials believe that Hamas and Islamic Jihad are not behind the attacks from Gaza. Instead, smaller terrorist groups are likely firing rockets at southern communities in Israel.  (more >>>)

IAF targets terror sites in Gaza in response to rocket barrage

Here we go again.

IDF – IAF aircraft targeted two terror activity sites in the northern and southern Gaza Strip in response to rockets fired at Israeli communities last night (December 9).

Directs hits were confirmed. Additional explosions were caused as a result of weapons and rockets stored near the attacked terror activity sites. The terror site was located near civilian population. The IDF holds the Hamas terrorist organization for operating from within civilian population and using it as a “human shield.”

Overall, six rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip at Israeli civilian populations, including Sdeot Negev Regional Council (population of 8,200), the Eshkol Regional Council, and the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. No damage or injuries were caused as a result of the rocket fire. Continue reading

IAF surgical strike, strikes terrorist ‘mastermind’ from the planet

The IAF sent 2 Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorists to their 72 Helen Thomas look-a-like virgins. One of the terrorists was a senior operative, responsible for numerous terrorists attacks.

Isam Subahi Isamil Batash, born in 1968, from the city of Gaza was a senior operative in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades. Batash was involved in numerous previous terror attacks in which terrorists from the Gaza Strip infiltrated Israel via Sinai. One such attack was the suicide bombing in Eilat (January 2007), in which three Israeli civilians were killed. In recent years, a number of Batash’s attempted attacks were thwarted.

The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades is part of Fatah, which is “peace-loving” Mahmoud Abbas’s Islamonazi party.

Arutz Sheva – At least two Palestinian Authority Arab terrorists are dead in Gaza following a targeted, surgical air strike on a vehicle by fighter pilots of the Israeli Air Force.

One of the two dead was a senior operative who had coordinated numerous attacks against Israeli civilians.

Both were members of a terrorist cell belonging to the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades organization, according to the IDF, who added the cell had been planning to infiltrate Israel’s border to carry out another attack.

A Gaza Health Ministry official was quoted by the Bethlehem-based Ma’an news agency as saying that five bystanders were also wounded in the blast, but the report has not been confirmed.

The IDF subsequently issued a statement saying that the operation had been a joint Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet)-IDF operation conducted by IAF aircraft . The two terrorists, joined by a third operative from an allied terror group, had been targeted while they were in a vehicle at a public garden near Gaza City.

“The cell was planning western border attacks against Israeli civilians and security forces,” explained the IDF spokesperson. Continue reading

Iran training Gaza terrorists in operation of sophisticated anti-tank missiles

“If there is a rifle over the fireplace in the first act, you can be sure it will be fired in the third.”

- Anton Chekhov, Russian playwright

Jerusalem Post – A select group of Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip have undergone extensive military training recently in Iran, turning them into expert operators of sophisticated anti-tank missiles, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

The IDF believes that Hamas and Islamic Jihad have obtained several hundred advanced Russian-made antitank missiles – such as the Kornet and the Fagot – which have a range of more than 4 kilometers and are capable of penetrating armored personnel carriers and some IDF tanks.

Terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip had a small number of these missiles ahead of Operation Cast Lead – Israel’s offensive against Hamas in 2009 – but only used them in a handful of known instances.

“They were not trained well then, and as a result, the missiles were not effective,” a senior IDF officer explained this week. “Since then, the groups have significantly increased the stockpile and have also sent specific terrorists to Iran for extensive training where they became anti-tank missile experts.

The level of expertise was demonstrated earlier this year when Hamas fired a Kornet anti-tank missile at a school bus near Nahal Oz, which killed 16-year-old Daniel Viflic. (more >>>)
