Video: Just how fast is Usain Bolt? – One race, every medalist ever

This is pretty interesting. Have a look.

Via Iowntheworld

Aug 6, 2012 by – Based on the athletes’ average speeds, if every Olympic medalist raced each other, Usain Bolt (the London version) would win, with a wide distribution of Olympians behind him. Below, where each sprinter would be when Bolt finishes his race.

Hilarious Video: As Jewish US Olympian Alexandra (Aly) Raisman advances, parents feel every move she makes

Oh the agony of being a parent and watching your child perform in the biggest day of her life!

You can emphasize with the parents of Jewish US Olympian Alexandra (Aly) Raisman as much as they do with their daughter. Comical and touching at the same time. I think every parent must be able to relate.

Watch:

Times of Israel – Jewish US Olympian Alexandra (Aly) Raisman, who advanced Monday to the all-around individual finals in London, chose Hava Nagila (Let’s Rejoice) as the background music for her qualifying-round routine.

Raisman’s performance to the Jewish tune was enough to overtake world champion teammate and favorite Jordyn Wieber, who was seen in tears after she failed to qualify for finals competition.

“It’s really hard,” Raisman said. “That was kind of like my first thought. I was really happy but then at the same time I feel bad just because I know how bad [Wieber] wanted it.”

Raisman’s parents have been getting some online attention of their own. The two were caught on camera cheering on daughter Aly in a manner that would put some synchronized swimmers to shame. A YouTube video of the cheering duo has garnered nearly 60,000 views since Sunday.

Here she is performing to Hava Nagila:

Fun video: Kid Farmer Lil Fred Sings “Farm It Maybe”

Very cute and well done!

(But hey, as Obama says, “You didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen!”

Gateway Pundit – Little 9 year-old Lil Fred and his brother released “Farm It Maybe” about their work on a dairy farm. It’s so good in so many ways.
From the video: Lil Fred is a 9 year old kid whose 18 year old brother Justin films and edits short comedy skits that we two brothers love making videos and making people laugh.. hope you enjoy our videos :-)

…And then Obama swooped in and shut down the farm for violating his child farm labor laws.

Aussie cutie Michelle Jenneke hurdles her way into an Internet star

Very cute. The video is conspicuously well done. Good job.

via GWP

Yahoo reported:

If her goal was to get the blood pumping, it apparently worked (and for Jenneke, too), as the 19-year-old dominated the IAAF World Junior Championship in Barcelona last weekend. Along the way, she became a viral video sensation (videos such as the one you no doubt just played — be honest — are getting clicked as fast as, well, as fast as Michelle Jenneke runs the 100-meter hurdles).

According to Bleacher Report, sports blog With Leather posted raw, live-stream footage of Jenneke’s prerace routine, then went back and edited it with an “overt celebration of Jenneke and her dancing and running presented in gratuitous slow motion, and with an awful song over it.”

Pick-me-up Video: Where the hell is Matt? 2012

Ah, the healing power of music and dance. The put-a-smile-on-your-face video of the day.

The Blaze – A video titled “Where the Hell is Matt? 2012,” uploaded onto YouTube on June 20, already has more than 1.6 million hits thanks both to the man’s previous videos, and the fact that they are so infectious.

In under five minutes, the video shows the man dancing with people from all over the world — from Vienna to Detroit, Iraq to Russia.  He can be seen imitating cheerleaders in the United States, and shaking his backside in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  (more >>>)

Feel good video of the day. The side of America that Liberals and the mainstream media detest.

Movie trailer: The Yankles

Looks cute.

Magnolia Pictures will be releasing The Yankles June 5th, 2012 on Home Video (DVD & Blu-ray).

13-year-old Orthodox Jew, Edan Pinchot, wows judges and fans on ‘America’s Got Talent’

Nice. Mazel tov!

Times of Israel – Britain’s Got Talent,” “American Idol,” “The X-Factor”… While cynics and critics might claim these shows are essentially the same, recently viewers of “America’s Got Talent” saw a rare sight in the seventh episode of the current season.

In the judges’ audition, 13 year-old Edan Pinchot played piano and sang the OneRepublic song “Good Life,” and if the audience and judge reactions are anything to go by, he sang it very well.

A teenage performance on the show is nothing out of the ordinary, not even one so well-received.  What made Edan’s appearance a novelty is that he appeared on the show as a yarmulke-wearing Orthodox Jew.

Nearly as rare as a religious Jewish boy on a popular reality show was the fact that all three judges for this round of competition are at least partially Jewish. Sharon Osbourne (wife of famous rocker and heavy metal bad boy Ozzy Osbourne) was born Sharon Rachel Levy, the daughter of a Jewish man and Catholic woman. Her two co-judges are widely seen as “high-profile” Jews, radio talk show host Howard Stern and actor/comedian Howie Mandel.

The three were unanimous in their praise of Edan’s performance, which they delivered without making reference to his obvious Jewish-ness. Sharon Osbourne told Edan that he “sang with such emotion. I just want to see more.” Stern followed up, saying “You are so talented, you are so gifted, it’s a yes from me.”  Mandel simply said, “Three yeses. We’ll see you in Las Vegas [the next round of competition].”

Video: Romney-Obama lip-synch “Call Me Maybe” duet

What the heck is this?

Business Insider – People are calling it a “Call Me Maybe” internet phenomenon and it seems two more surprising figures have just joined in—namely, President Obama and Mitt Romney.

The original song was performed by Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen, but the catchy lyrics have inspired many new parodies (including videos by Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and James Franco).

And last night, Jay Leno showed a surprising tribute video from the President and Mitt Romney—we’re just not sure they know about it.

Video: Father-daughter Bat Mitzvah medley mash-up

Well this is pretty darn cute. What a dad won’t do for his little girl.

UK Daily Mail – When Jessica and Mike Hanley took to the dance floor everyone was expecting the typical, slightly awkward Bat Mitzvah dance.

However, Mr Hanley, a professional stand-up comedian, had other ideas about celebrating his 13-year-old daughter’s journey to adulthood.

At first, the two start a slow dance to the predictable sounds of My Girl by The Temptations.

And just when everyone thought they knew what was coming next, Whitney Houston blasts out of the DJ’s decks as Jessica asks her dad, ‘Do you wanna dance?’.

Feigning initial reluctance, Mr Hanley then embarks on a five-minute-long, perfectly synchronised dance mash-up with his beloved girl.

The two move to a medley of songs including hits by Lady GaGa, Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, The Sugarhill Gang and Madonna.

Every dance step is busted out in the charming routine – including several rock-and-roll fast twirls to match his daughter’s Fifties-style jade green party dress.

The running man is busted out to a techno dance hit that was produced decades after Mr Hanley was a teenager himself.

Then there’s the near-perfect rendition of Madonna’s famous moves to Vogue.

At several points in the routine, Mr Hanley looks like he is enjoying himself more than his daughter.

But he has more practise at performing.

Mr Hanley is a successful stand-up comedian who is a regular on the club circuit.

According to his website, standupmikehanley.com, his specialty is jokes about his married life.

No doubt the interest in his dance performance (the YouTube video already has over 260,000 hits) with his daughter will provide material for years to come.

Until Jessica’s wedding day anyway, when the two will have to find something to beat this routine for the first dance.

Video: 6-year-old makes unassisted triple play

Give that boy an ice cream cone!

The Blaze – There have only been 15 unassisted triple plays in the history of Major League Baseball. In fact, there hasn’t been one in the majors since 2009. But don’t tell that to this 6-year-old, who looks to have accomplished the feat last week during a little league game.

Inspiring Video: After 15 years, disabled war vet says ‘never say never,’ becomes a new man

Need a picker-upper? Watch this eye-misting video of one man’s indomitable will.

Arthur Boorman was a disabled veteran of the Gulf War. He was told by his doctors that he would never be able to walk unassisted ever again. For some 15 years he believed them. He grew fat. He grew hopeless. And then he said, screw this. Someone believed in him, and he began to believe in himself.

Watch the video and see his transformation. A lot can happen in a year.

via rightscoop

– Arthur Boorman was a disabled veteran of the Gulf War for 15 years, and was told by his doctors that he would never be able to walk on his own, ever again.

He stumbled upon an article about Diamond Dallas Page doing Yoga and decided to give it a try — he couldn’t do traditional, higher impact exercise, so he tried DDP YOGA and sent an email to Dallas telling him his story.

Dallas was so moved by his story, he began emailing and speaking on the phone with Arthur throughout his journey – he encouraged Arthur to keep going and to believe that anything was possible. Even though doctors told him walking would never happen, Arthur was persistent. He fell many times, but kept going.

Arthur was getting stronger rapidly, and he was losing weight at an incredible rate! Because of DDP’s specialized workout, he gained tremendous balance and flexibility — which gave him hope that maybe someday, he’d be able to walk again.

His story is proof, that we cannot place limits on what we are capable of doing, because we often do not know our own potential. Niether Arthur, nor Dallas knew what he would go on to accomplish, but this video speaks for itself. In less than a year, Arthur completely transformed his life. If only he had known what he was capable of, 15 years earlier.

Do not waste any time thinking you are stuck – you can take control over your life, and change it faster than you might think.

Hopefully this story can inspire you to follow your dreams – whatever they may be. Anything is Possible!

Blind Iraq War veteran throws ceremonial first pitch (better than Obama) at Pirates game

Wounded Warrior Jeremy Feldbusch throws better blind, than our girly-man president ever has. Not only that, Mr. Feldbusch’s story, which,  is honest and inspiring and filled with good, is much more interesting than that of the Wrecking Ball-in-Chief’s.

Video: 86-year-old gymnast Johanna Quass wows competition

This granny has been eating her Wheaties!

UK Daily Mail – Meet Johanna Quaas, the lycra-donning granny whose muscular physique puts Madonna to shame.

At 86 Quass, of Halle, Saxony, would be forgiven for wanting to put her feet up, which she does – over her head that is.

And her gymnastic prowess is not the only trophy in her cabinet, she was once a member of the East German handball champion team, too.

The octogenarian showed off her skills at the 2012 Cottbus World Cup in Germany, where she wowed the crowd with her moves, performing an impressive parallel bar and floor demonstration.

Ultra flexible Quaas was a late starter, beginning her gymnastics training at the age of 30. But that hasn’t held her back.

More than fifty years on she still steals the show from her younger rivals, as a multiple time senior champion of artistic gymnastics in Germany.

As she performs routines with the balance, strength and flexibility of a 20-year-old, this geriatric granny could easily be a quarter of her age – were it not for her tell-tale curly bob of snow-white hair and specs balanced on her nose.

Passover music video: The Fountainheads – Breakin’ Free

Nice.

Times of Israel – The Fountainheads latest video “Breakin’ Free” was released on YouTube on Monday, showcasing the spirited music/theater group’s take on the Passover holiday.

The Ein Prat Fountainheads is a young Israeli musical ensemble formed around the Ein Prat Academy for Leadership, a pluralistic Beit Midrash located near Jerusalem.

Incorporating elements of theater into original performances and video releases delivering up-beat, family friendly songs about Jewish themes, the Fountainheads have quickly grown in popularity and expect to make their next US tour in May. Their Rosh Hashana video from last year has garnered almost two million views on YouTube.

‘Nuclear Duck’ remix starring Benjamin Netanyahu

He can sing, too.

on Mar 6, 2012 – A remix i made for Bibi Netanyahu “Nuclear Duck ” speech on AIPAC.

Times of Israel -The Prime Minister’s Office has apparently embraced the YouTube spoof video of Netanyahu’s AIPAC speech on Monday night.

Posted on Netanyahu’s official Facebook page together with a helpful Hebrew translation, just in case there was any doubt over the meaning, the video had received some 2,000 likes and 300 comments by Thursday evening. It was posted on Wednesday afternoon.

The video features Netanyahu’s duck soundbite — he compared the Iranian nuclear program to a duck — set to the music of the appropriately named dance duo “Duck Sauce.”

Clips of the daffy duck cartoon are also cleverly interspersed throughout to add to the speech’s comic value.
