Are Americans finally waking up to the enemedia? It is the only thing that can save us.
Washington Secrets: (h/t Weasel Zippers) – Likely voters, by a five-to-one margin, believe that America’s media is in President Obama’s pocket and will treat his candidacy better than challenger Mitt Romney’s as the election nears, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll.
The startling numbers point to an even more disturbing trend for the media: Reporters just aren’t trusted to deliver the news in an unbiased fashion. The proof: Rasmussen found that when it comes to information about the presidential campaign, 48 percent of likely voters trust friends and family while just 26 percent trust reporters.
The poll of 1,000 was conducted August 9-10 before many more tuned in to the campaign when Romney chose Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate. Since then, many cable reporters and pundits have vocally assailed Ryan.
The poll found that 59 percent of likely voters believe that the media has given Obama better treatment than Romney, a view Team Obama doesn’t agree with. Just 18 percent believe the media has treated Romney better.
An important and entertaining analysis of the enemedia. The Democrat media complex truly is no better than that of Pravda under the Soviets or the propaganda mill of Nazi Germany. The motto of the mainstream media ought to be: ‘Every Day Making Goebbels Proud!’
Aug 6, 2012 by PragerUniversity – Is there a left tilt to the media’s coverage of the news? If there is, can it be proven? And if it can be proven, can the consequences be quantified in a meaningful way? Acclaimed UCLA Professor of Political Science and Economics, Tim Groseclose, has the startling answers in this new Prager University course. Whatever you do, don’t miss his final conclusion.
This is an excellent wrap-up of the recent White House mess regarding Jerusalem. It clearly demonstrates how screwed up the Obama Administration is on the status of Jerusalem, and exposes the administrations waffling and lies as the gutless, anti-Israel policy it truly is.
Behold the Obama Administration’s double-talking, back-flipping pathetic excuse for Israeli diplomacy. The Obama regime detests Israel, and has no intention of ever keeping its word on anything.
Aug 1, 2012 by MidEastTruth – Variations on a theme: Clinton and Obama on Jerusalem’s status, versus their spokespersons’ statements on the issue.
Yes, he’s that arrogant. That ridiculous. That Marxist.
According to the Commie-in-Chief, without the government Americans would never have invented, produced, innovated, or accomplished a damn thing. Only government can do that. And the bigger the government, the more successful a private enterprise.
“Look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own...If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
Yes, he is truly that brainwashed. That spiteful. That far gone.
RUSH: [...] I think it can now be said, without equivocation — without equivocation — that this man hates this country. He is trying — Barack Obama is trying — to dismantle, brick by brick, the American dream.
There’s no other way to put this.
There’s no other way to explain this.
He was indoctrinated as a child. His father was a communist. His mother was a leftist. He was sent to prep and Ivy League schools where his contempt for the country was reinforced. He moved to Chicago. It was the home of the radical-left movement. He hooks up to Ayers and Dohrn and Rashid Khalidi. He learns the ruthlessness of Cook County politics. This is what we have as a president: A radical ideologue, a ruthless politician who despises the country and the way it was founded and the way in which it became great.
“There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me — because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t — look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.
If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
Jazz Shaw writing at Hotair points out that Obama is channeling Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas’ Warren who proclaimed the same Marxist rhetoric. He writes:
The President decided to take pity on the blogosphere, it seems. As we struggle through a hot July weekend and a news cycle about as dry as the drought conditions outside, he decided to throw us a small bone as the transcript was released from some remarks he delivered last night at a fire station in Roanoke, Virginia.
The basic message here is that the President just wants to help. Times are tough and employers are having a hard time creating jobs. (::: cough ::: regulations ::: cough :::) But if you happen to be a business owner, the President wishes you the best. His help and good wishes, however, come with one small caveat… just remember that you didn’t build that business, so don’t get too cocky.
I suppose this is the part where you remind them that when you jack up their taxes, it’s really just so you can give that money back to all the other people who actually built their business. But seriously, this is straight off the pages of Elizabeth Warren’s mind bending remarks from early this year. Those came crashing down around her ears, even in some Left leaning circles, so it’s a serious puzzler as to why Barack Obama would try to pick up that ball and run with it. Rather revealing, though.
As soon as the Wisconsin recall election was over everyone in the Democrat-controlled media began with the same mantra, that Democrats were outspent 7-1. Over and over this bogus claim was made. Common sense told you it was a flat-out lie, but Democrats were hoping that, like all their other propagandistic talking points, if they repeat it loud enough and forcefully enough, millions of easily-duped Americans would believe it.
Over at Hotair they break down the numbers and demonstrate that at most Republicans barely outspent Democrats maybe 1.5 – 1.
Hotair – [...] The spending story stems from a release by the liberal Center for Public Integrity, which took based its analysis on data from the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign (ostensibly nonpartisan, but a past recipient of Soros money and the sort of group whose director told CPI the spending was “outrageous and wrong”). However, according to that data, when you combine the spending of the candidates and their supporting groups, the gap shrinks to 2-to-1.
Moreover, it is a fair bet those figures do not include all of the money spent by left-leaning groups on all candidates in the recall.
Indeed, it should be underscored that the left/media here is focused entirely on spending in the gubernatorial recall, when this election was just one of many the left attempted to turn into referenda on Gov. Walker’s public-sector collective bargaining reforms. If once considers the total amounts spent during the Days of Cheesehead Rage on state senate recall elections, Supreme Court elections and so on in 2011-12, the gap shrinks to roughly 1.5-to-1.
In short, it is not clear the left was outspent in its attempts to reverse Gov. Walker’s reforms. And the widely-repeated claim that the left was outspent by more than 7-to-1 in the most recent recall election is clearly false.
The guy lives inside a bong. Not only is the private sector “fine,” but the problem he says is not enough government jobs. This walking absurdity has got to go.
The Islamonazis are having a ball mocking us infidels and turning the courtroom into a Jihadi propaganda playground.
May 5, 2012: In this photo of a sketch by courtroom artist Janet Hamlin and reviewed by the U.S. Department of Defense, Pentagon paid civilian defense lawyer Cheryl Borman, defense attorney of accused Sept. 11 co-conspirator Walid bin Attash, argues a point during the military hearing at the Guantanamo Bay U.S. Naval Base in Cuba. (AP/POOL)
Fox – The defense attorney who wore a traditional Islamic outfit during the rowdy arraignment of the accused Sept. 11 terrorists is defending her courtroom appeal that other women in the room wear more “appropriate” clothing to the proceedings — out of respect for her client’s Muslim beliefs.
Cheryl Bormann, counsel for defendant Walid bin Attash, attended the arraignment Saturday dressed in a hijab, apparently because her client insisted on it. She further requested that the court order other women to follow that example so that the defendants do not have to avert their eyes “for fear of committing a sin under their faith.”
At a press conference Sunday at Guantanamo Bay, Bormann said she dresses in a hijab at “all times” when she meets with her client “out of respect” for his beliefs. Asked why she requested other women do the same, Bormann said, “When you’re on trial for your life, you need to be focused.”
In this sketch reviewed by the U.S. Department of Defense, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed reads a document in court on Saturday.
Bormann claimed the issue came up several years ago, when a paralegal wore “very short skirts” and it became a distraction for the defendants. She said that on Saturday, “somebody” was also dressed “in a way that was not in keeping with my client’s religious beliefs.”
“If because of someone’s religious beliefs, they can’t focus when somebody in the courtroom is dressed in a particular way, I feel it is incumbent upon myself as a counsel to point that out and ask for some consideration from the prosecution,” she said. “Suffice to say it was distracting to members of the accused.”
The clothing request was just one of several unusual moments during Saturday’s lengthy and chaotic hearing.
The defendants’ behavior outraged 9/11 family members watching on closed-circuit video feeds around the United States at East Coast military bases. One viewer shouted, “C’mon, are you kidding me?” at the Fort Hamilton base in Brooklyn.
A handful of people who lost family members in the attacks and were selected by a lottery to attend the proceedings watched in the courtroom.
The court hearing for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his four co-defendants should have taken a couple of hours at most. Instead it lasted almost 13 hours, including meal and prayer breaks, as the men appeared to make a concerted effort to stall Saturday’s hearing.
They knelt in prayer, ignored the judge, wouldn’t listen to Arabic translations over their head sets and one even insisted on having the more than 20 pages detailing the charges against them read aloud, rather than deferred for later in their case as the judge wanted, which added more than two hours to the proceedings. (CNS News) – Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Johnnie Carson said Monday that “religion is not driving extremist violence” in Nigeria–just one day after a Christian church conducting an Easter service was targeted by a car bombing that left 39 dead.
Similarly, on Christmas Day, the Nigerian Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, attacked a Catholic church in that country, killing more than 40 people.
“I want to take this opportunity to stress one key point and that is that religion is not driving extremist violence either in Jos or northern Nigeria,” Assistant Secretary of State Carson said Monday at a forum on U.S. policy toward Nigeria held at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C.
“While some seek to inflame Muslim-Christian tensions, Nigeria’s ethnic and religious diversity, like our own in this country, is a source of strength, not weakness,” he added, “and there are many examples across Nigeria of communities working across religious lines to protect one another.”
On Easter Sunday a church in Kaduna, Nigeria, was targeted by a suicide bombing that killed 39 and wounded dozens. Though no organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, it is suspected that Boko Haram, the Islamic terrorist organization, was behind it. (more >>>)
PJTV demonstrates how NBC’s despicable action was no mere “mistake”.
“The media is the enemy.” – Andrew Breitbart
Pajamasmedia on Apr 9, 2012 Is it possible to manufacture racism in a TV studio? NBC has apologized for the selective editing for the Zimmerman – Travon Martin 911 call, claiming it was a mistake. PJTV shows you the very deliberate steps NBC had to take to edit the Zimmerman’s call about Trayvon Martin, steps that made Zimmerman come off as racist.
A rule of thumb when listening to Liberals. They always accuse the other side of what they themselves do.
Listen to this load of donkey dung. The guy is a pathological liar.
Obama is the Trojan horse. It is he who is “trying to impose a radical vision on the country.” It is his Marxist policies that are Darwinian. And it was his own budget that was laughed off the House floor, receiving not a single vote.
“Desperate and demagogic is how I would describe his speech in two words,” Ryan said. “Unfortunately we’ve become accustomed to this kind of rhetoric from the president. I feel like it’s Groundhog Day, except it’s April. He essentially said the same thing last year.
“His speeches are becoming more partisan and desperate by the day and his attempts to divide the nation and to distract people from his own failure to lead — I just don’t think are going to work,” he continued. “I think people are smarter than that.
“The president’s attacks on our budget are as disappointing, as revealing as his attacks on the Supreme Court,” Ryan said. “It seems that he takes anyone questioning his vision of limitless government as a personal affront and he’s lashing out. That’s hardly the kind of leadership we were expecting when he ran for office.”
Fast and furious Holder has had it out for gun owners for a long time. He failed with this plan as he did with his most recent, but he’s no doubt counting on a second Obama term, and the belief that the third try is a charm.
The delicious irony is that out of fear of what he is doing to the country, more Americans have bought more guns during his and Obama’s reign than probably in any other president’s term.

Breitbart – Breitbart.com has uncovered video from 1995 of then-U.S. Attorney Eric Holder announcing a public campaign to “really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way.”
Holder was addressing the Woman’s National Democratic Club. In his remarks, broadcast by CSPAN 2, he explained that he intended to use anti-smoking campaigns as his model to “change the hearts and minds of people in Washington, DC” about guns.
“What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we changed our attitudes about cigarettes.”
Holder added that he had asked advertising agencies in the nation’s capital to assist by making anti-gun ads rather than commercials “that make me buy things that I don’t really need.” He had also approached local newspapers and television stations, he said, asking them to devote prime space and time, respectively, to his anti-gun campaign.
Local political leaders and celebrities, Holder said, including Mayor Marion Barry and Jesse Jackson, had been asked to help. In addition, he reported, he had asked the local school board to make the anti-gun message a part of “every day, every school, and every level.”
Uploaded by SDAMatt2a on Mar 16, 2012 – Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs joins Ezra Levant to discuss the hilarious case of the New York Times accepting an ad urging Catholics to leave the Church and yet essentially rejecting the same ad reworked by Pam to urge muslims to leave islam.
This is the scandal of the decade, and yet no one in the mainstream media, nor, sadly, virtually anyone on the right, including the best of the conservative blogs, wants to touch it. (Go here for the story and the damning videos released by Sheriff Arpaio and his Cold Case Possee.)
Shame on them all. WND and the Washington Times are about the only media people with the guts to expose the Obama regime’s fraud.
Why? It’s not because the allegations are false. Anyone who reads Arpaio’s report and watches the videos can’t possibly deny that Obama’s long-form birth certificate is a forgery. It can only be due to fear of ridicule, and fear that to press the matter would somehow hurt the Republicans in the elections. The latter is a false assumption, but clearly one too many conservatives embrace.
This is not about “birtherism”. This is about blatant forgery and cover-up at the highest level, and about the media’s complicity in lying to the American people. If Barack Obama is re-elected, the entire conservative media will be partly to blame. They have the goods yet choose to look the other way. Obama’s obviosly fraudulent birth certificate has been out there for years, and conservatives chose to cower instead of standing up for the TRUTH. If the right is truly serious about “vetting” Obama, this story is a gift from heaven. Writing at the American Thinker on March 2nd, Cindy Simpson had this brow-arching tidbit:
“At the press conference, WND journalist Dr. Jerome Corsi reported that he had arranged on the evening prior, a private conference between the sheriff and conservative media champion Andrew Breitbart, and Corsi wondered whether it might have been Breitbart’s last interview. As we mourn Breitbart’s passing, we hope that his colleagues continue to pursue his inspiring legacy of boldness in uncovering and reporting the truth. At CPAC, Breitbart had assured attendees: “This election, we’re going to vet [Obama].”"
If this is so, then we should be asking, “What would Breitbart do?”
Here was Sheriff Arpaio’s entire press conference, which the media dutifully pretty much ignored. Here is the Arpaio report in pdf..
Washington Times – Is President Obama’s birth certificate a forgery? Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz., believes it is. He recently held a press conference in Phoenix to discuss the findings of a new 10-page report. Mr. Arpaio’s investigators have come to a stunning conclusion: The long-form birth certificate Mr. Obama released last year is a “computer-generated forgery.”
With the exception of The Washington Times, however, no major U.S. media outlet reported this bombshell story. The liberal press corps is desperately trying to suppress any discussion of Forgerygate — potentially one of the biggest scandals in American history. The media class is betraying its fundamental mission to pursue the truth.
“Based on all of the evidence presented and investigated, I cannot in good faith report to you that these documents are authentic,” Sheriff Arpaio said. “My investigators believe that the long-form birth certificate was manufactured electronically and that it did not originate in paper format as claimed by the White House.”
The Washington Times story, written by Stephen Dinan, points out that Mr. Arpaio has called for Congress to investigate the matter. Think about this: A high-profile sheriff orders a team of former law enforcement officials to examine whether the president is truly a natural born citizen and that he has the constitutional and legal right to occupy the White House. Their official report is that Mr. Obama’s documents are shoddy and he likely engaged in deliberate fraud. And yet, most of the American press corps doesn’t believe this is an important news story? The liberal media has become rotten to the core.
Ironically, the foreign press reported widely on the story. For example, Pravda — that’s right, the former official organ of the Soviet Communist Party — did an extensive analysis of Mr. Arpaio’s findings. The article by Dianna Cotter asks the obvious question: What are U.S. journalists afraid of?
The answer is that the issue strikes at the heart of Mr. Obama’s administration: If his presidency is illegal, then all of his accomplishments — the stimulus, Obamacare, the contraceptive mandate, the government takeover of the auto sector and appointments to the Supreme Court — are illegitimate as well. The scandal would trigger a constitutional crisis.
Following Mr. Obama’s surprise news conference last year, when he unveiled the long-form certificate, the media insisted that the controversy was settled once and for all. The “birthers” supposedly had been silenced. Mr. Arpaio’s report, however, changes that. The issue has been resuscitated — except in the eyes of the mainstream media.
A prominent sheriff says he has damning evidence that Mr. Obama probably lied to the public. The international media believes it’s a big deal; many Americans agree. They want to get to the bottom of it. Yet, the liberal hacks at the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN and MSNBC can do nothing more than yawn.
Contrast this with their treatment of President George W. Bush. Throughout the Bush years it was open season: routine comparisons to Adolf Hitler, charges of being a war criminal, calls for impeachment, trumped-up scandals like the Valerie Plame affair, investigations into the partying habits of his teenage daughters, stories about Mr. Bush’s drinking as a younger man, his National Guard service and mediocre college grades — journalists left no stone unturned, no questions unanswered, no topic was beyond the pale.
Not with Mr. Obama. In fact, the opposite is true: Almost everything pertinent is not to be touched. He is the least-vetted president in modern memory. During the 2008 campaign, the liberal media deliberately propped up Mr. Obama. They suppressed vital information about his radical past and deep ties to virulent revolutionary leftists — the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Derrick Bell, Saul Alinsky and Edward Said. For all of their differences, they share one value in common: hatred for traditional America.
To this day, Mr. Obama’s college transcripts, undergraduate thesis and health records remain sealed. We know little about his years in Indonesia as a young boy; his overseas trips to countries like Pakistan in the 1980s; his relationship with his mother and Muslim stepfather; and his time spent as a “community organizer” in Chicago. In short, the president’s past is clouded in mystery. This is not conspiracy-mongering, but objective fact. Americans have a right to know who their commander-in-chief really is. Instead, the media wants to bury any debate or inquiry into Mr. Obama’s background.
Whether you believe Mr. Obama’s long-form birth certificate is a forgery or not, Mr. Arpaio should be applauded. He has done our nation a huge service. He is asking the press corps to look into an issue of the highest importance: Has the president committed a monstrous hoax and fraud upon the American people? In particular, the sheriff’s team has identified a supposed “person of interest” who they believe played a pivotal role in Forgerygate. The media must follow up on the story. If it is false, then Mr. Arpaio will be rightly humiliated and publicly discredited. But if — and I stress if — it is true, then the press will have unearthed a scandal that will shake this country to its very foundations. Either way, it’s time the media did their job and stop acting like Mr. Obama’s poodles.
Jeffrey T. Kuhner is a columnist at The Washington Times and president of the Edmund Burke Institute.
WND – Sheriff Joe wants Obama’s original draft card
Asks feds: What steps will be taken to investigate possible forgery?
Following up on his investigative team’s finding of probable cause that Barack Obama’s Selective Service registration form is a forgery, Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio has asked Selective Service Director Lawrence Romo in a letter to produce original documentation.
A copy of Obama’s registration form indicates the registration took place at the Makaki Station Post Office in Honolulu on July 29, 1980. Arpaio wants court-approved, forensic experts selected by his office to examine the original for its authenticity, as well as any microfilm or computer copies that may exist. (more >>>)
Daily Caller – Lord Monckton: ‘I’m no birther,’ but Obama birth certificate ‘plainly a forgery’
On Dennis Miller’s radio show Thursday Lord Christopher Monckton, a former policy adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and an activist against global warming “alarmism,” went all-in on questioning President Barack Obama’s citizenship.
Monckton, the 3rd Viscount Monckton of Brenchley, hinted about his position on the issue in April 2010 at a tea party rally on the National Mall near the White House. But on Miller’s show, he said the birth certificate issue was far more important that combatting so-called anthropogenic global warming.
“I mean, hey you got a president who has a false birth certificate on the Internet, on the White House website,” Monckton said. “It’s not even clear where he was born. You’ve got a national debt which is rising into the stratosphere. You’ve got unemployment certainly here in California at 11 percent, 50 percent in the construction industry. These are real problems. You’ve got real environmental problems — overfishing, deforestation, pollution, not so much in the west but certainly in other countries. These are real problems which ought to be addressed. You’ve got poverty. You’ve got disease. These are again serious problems in Africa for instance, that we could be helping with. But no, we’re obsessed with making the rich even richer and making the absolute bankers richer still by going for global warming and cap-and-trade and other nonsenses of this kind.”
Miller protested by saying he disagreed with the suggestion that Obama has a fraudulent birth certificate. But Monckton dug in his heels.
“I don’t know whether he is Kenyan or not,” Monckton said. “The point is that if I were you, I would want to make absolutely sure that he was born here before allowing him to be elected. And the birth certificate that he put up on that website, I don’t know where he was born. But I do know that birth certificate isn’t genuine.”
Monckton firmly asserted that the birth certificate on the White House website wasn’t real, and claimed it could be dismantled with software.
“It appears in layers on the screen in such a way you can remove quite separately each of the individual dates,” Monckton said. “You use Adobe Illustrator and each of the individual dates is in its own separate layer. This thing has been fabricated. Sheriff [Joe] Arpaio of Arizona has had a team on this for six months. And he has now gone public and said there’s something very desperately wrong with this and of course nobody is saying anything because the entire electorate has been fooled.”
“I’m no birther, don’t get me wrong,” Monckton said. “I haven’t a clue where Obama was born and I wouldn’t want to entreat into the private grief behind investigating. But the point is, is what he has done on the White House website is he has put up a document which he is plainly a forgery and I would regard that as a very serious matter.”
According to the Washington Post, the Obama White House invited 362 people to its state dinner for the United Kingdom. One familiar face will be gracing the red carpet: Andrew Sullivan of The Daily Beast.
For those who don’t remember, Andrew Sullivan is the once-conservative columnist who shifted dramatically to the left over the past few years – and reserved a special hatred in his heart for Sarah Palin and her special needs son Trig.
Early on in the campaign, Sullivan suggested that Trig was not actually Sarah Palin’s son – he was Bristol’s son, and Sarah had claimed him as her own to cover up Bristol’s pregnancy. Her oft-recounted labor drama, said Sullivan, was possibly nonsense; it was more likely that she had made it up. As Sullivan wrote in August 2008, “the noise around this story is now deafening, and the weirdness of the chronology sufficient to rise to the level of good faith questions.” Actually, the noise wasn’t deafening – it was just that Sullivan was tone-deaf.
But Sullivan didn’t drop his crusade against Palin and Trig.
In February 2010, Sullivan wrote that he believed that Palin had named her son Trig after the “medical term for Down Syndrome … Trisomy-21 or Trisomy-g. It is often shortened in medical slang to Tri-G.”
In June 2011, Sullivan continued the “Trig isn’t Sarah’s child” meme, writing:
It’s possible that Palin simply made up her drama of labor, or exaggerated it for effect, when in fact it was a routine, if rare, pregnancy, and she had mild warnings that the birth may be premature, and she gussied that up into a tall tale of her pioneer spirit, guided by her doctor, who refused to take the NYT’s calls as soon as Palin hit the big time. I think that’s the likeliest explanation, given the sheer world-historical weirdness of the alternative.
But it’s also possible that she never had that baby at all.
She has made speech after speech citing her infant son – just as her teenage daughter has been pushed into every public arena imaginable. There is nothing private about Palin’s story about her child with Down Syndrome. Nothing. To examine the details of a story already told in such detail in the public sphere as a core campaign platform is violating no one’s privacy. It is asking relevant questions of a narrative plainly and publicly provided by Palin herself. I have used no facts except those already in the public domain.
Sullivan is a hateful bully. There are no two ways about it. Doubting the parentage of someone’s son based on sheer, nasty speculation in the face of all available evidence sinks to the reprehensible. It’s a hell of a lot worse than the absurd leftist narrative about Slut-gate. It’s White House-backed lunacy. And it’s the latest in a series. If, as we reported yesterday, Louis C.K. did indeed visit the White House, this is just the most recent example of an Administration far too comfortable with nasty bullies – and deeply hypocritical when it comes to its pursuit of so-called incivility on the other side of the aisle.
Breitbart.com has thrown another sizable log on the Obama vetting fire. Below is a clip from a 1994 HBO movie called “Space Traders”. It was part of a blaxploitation trilogy entitled, “Cosmic Slop.” The movie was based on an essay by Obama’s beloved mentor, and rabid anti-Semite (below), Derrick Bell. In the film, Ronald Reagan is a slave-trading alien who offers to save earth in exchange for black slaves.
This represents the mentality that Barack Obama marinated himself in while at Harvard. It is central to his being and philosophy: a hate-filled race-baiting Marxist who detests America.
Derrick Bell, the man whose scholarship inspired Barack Obama, was the Jeremiah Wright of academia.
And a Hollywood cult hero.
Bell was one of the chief proponents of Critical Race Theory, a radical doctrine that holds that American legal institutions—including our civil rights laws—perpetuate white supremacy.
Bell’s ideas were not only radical, but bizarre. After leaving Harvard (he resigned in 1992), he wrote a racialist, antisemitic fictional essay titled “The Space Traders,” which Ninth Circuit judge Alex Kozinski described in the New York Times with disgust:
Imagine, if you will, that space aliens land in the United States and offer ”untold treasure” in exchange for surrendering all black citizens to them. What does white America do? It votes to accept the deal by overwhelming margins. So says the law professor Derrick Bell, who poses the question in an allegorical tale he calls ”The Space Traders.”
There is opposition, however. Jews condemn the trade as genocidal and organize the Anne Frank Committee to try to stop it. Empathy from another group that has suffered oppression? Not according to Bell. Instead, Jews worry that ”in the absence of blacks, Jews could become the scapegoats.”
Such parables pass for legal scholarship these days…
Consider the ”Space Traders” story. How does one have a meaningful dialogue with Derrick Bell? Because his thesis is utterly untestable, one quickly reaches a dead end after either accepting or rejecting his assertion that white Americans would cheerfully sell all blacks to the aliens. The story is also a poke in the eye of American Jews, particularly those who risked life and limb by actively participating in the civil rights protests of the 1960′s. Bell clearly implies that this was done out of tawdry self-interest. Perhaps most galling is Bell’s insensitivity in making the symbol of Jewish hypocrisy the little girl who perished in the Holocaust — as close to a saint as Jews have. A Jewish professor who invoked the name of Rosa Parks so derisively would be bitterly condemned — and rightly so.
The essay was not too offensive for Hollywood, however—or HBO, which turned it into a TV movie, Space Traders, in 1994 as part of a “bizarre, thought-provoking” blaxploitation trilogy, Cosmic Slop.
Bell received a writing credit for the short film, which Breitbart.com now presents in full.
Carbonite CEO tied to MoveOn.org: time for conservatives to fight blacklisting?
So. Did you hear about Carbonite and Rush Limbaugh?
No, you didn’t. Not the way you will in a minute. But first?
It’s time to turn the tables.
It’s time to stand up to the bullies.
It’s time to Rally for Rush.
Rush Limbaugh has discussed at length — at length — what Sandra Fluke and her statist cronies are up to. Yes, he used the words “slut” and “prostitute” — using the ludicrous to make his point. Ms. Fluke, in one of the most pathetic, shamelessly whining stories in recent memory, demands to be paid for her sex life because it costs $3,000 for three years of birth control while she’s at law school. She demands that a Catholic university violate its fundamental right to religious liberty so she can have others pay for her sex life. So Rush asked the farcical obvious about somebody who demands that someone else pay her for her apparent, self-admitted prolific sex life. He spent two solid days relating her greed for other people’s money and a lack of personal responsibility to the oldest of principles.
Right on cue, the blacklisting crowd came out of their Stalinist caves. Having driven Lou Dobbs from CNN, cut off Beck’s windpipe at Fox, severed Pat Buchanan from MSNBC, thus emboldened they have now set their sights on Rush.
And Rush, threatened with his livelihood, has issued this statement:
For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.
I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit? In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone’s bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level.
My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.
This, but of course, was not enough to satisfy. Sandra Fluke herself raced to the Ed Schultz show on MSNBC to denounce Rush. Yes, the same Ed Schulz who not long ago called conservative radio and TV commentator Laura Ingraham a “slut.” And he wasn’t joking either. But suddenly, Ms. Fluke simply didn’t care. Why? Because this entire controversy over Rush’s words was never about the actual subject. It was really about yet another drive to blacklist yet another conservative in the media.
Big mistake. Really big mistake.
Did I mention Carbonite yet? Hold on.
IN THE DAYS AFTER the death of Andrew Breitbart, perhaps the question can be phrased this way: “What would Andrew do?” Well, first, he would suggest you go to one of his sites to learn the facts — and in this case a very interesting fact about Sandra Fluke’s view of free speech. Here’s the link at Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government where you will find this opening in a story by Charles Johnson:
As a student at Cornell and treasurer of a pro-choice organization at the school, Sandra Fluke, helped shut down a pro-life speech on Cornell’s campus by counter protesting. She argued that a pro-life organization at Cornell was about “manipulating [students'] emotions” with misleading statistics about abortion. But when it is her turn to speak on Capitol Hill, the third-year Georgetown Law Student demands she gets her say in a hearing that has nothing to do with birth control.
Well, well, well. So Sandra Fluke has a record of denying free speech to others? In addition to giving a pass to Mr. Ed on the slut business? Free speech for Sandra Fluke but not Rush Limbaugh or those pro-lifers at Cornell? Interesting, yes? Hypocritical and thuggish, definitely. She also walked out in protest of the congressional hearing where supporters of religious liberty were allowed to speak. It turns out, as reported here, that Fluke is no struggling law student — she’s already a professional far-left genderist, long deeply into the leftist scam of judging others by skin color or gender.
We all know the answer as to what Andrew Breitbart would do in this situation. He would stand up to the bullies.
So buckle in. And when you are finished reading — don’t sit there pondering. Stand up. Do something. And yes…. I will have suggestions as to exactly what you can do to Rally for Rush.
As a matter of fact, let’s start right there. Let’s start with what you can do right now. Continue reading →
The segment began with Gregory introducing this subject by playing a video clip of Limbaugh’s comments regarding Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke followed by reading the conservative talk radio host’s apology.
After his opening admonishment, Gingrich said, “There is no debate about access to contraception. There is a debate, which Cardinal George of Chicago has pointed out, is a war against the Catholic Church. You do have this weird situation where President Obama apologizes to Islamic extremists while waging war against the Catholic Church.”
“Barack Obama as President,” Gingrich continued, “in the most radical anti-religious move made by any president, is trying to coerce the Catholic Church at a time when he’s been told by the bishops they would have to give up every single hospital…they would have to give up every single university and college associated with the church, because he is asking them to violate their religious beliefs.”
Gregory continued to press the issue saying, “Do you think it was harmful that Limbaugh, as certainly an influential voice in a conservative grassroots and you well know that, was it appropriate for him to apologize? Do you think that he’s done damage to the debate that you’re now getting into?”
After saying it was appropriate for Limbaugh to apologize, Gingrich challenged Gregory asking, “Do you think the President owes an apology to all the men and women in uniform who he frankly abandoned when he apologized to religious fanatics in Afghanistan? What’s your opinion, David?”
Not surprisingly, Gregory ignored that question and continued with the contraception issue asking, “Can you appreciate the view of those that disagree with you that this is an attack on women’s rights? That’s their view, reproductive rights, access to contraception, and the extreme that it’s some sort of war on women.”
Gingrich correctly replied, “Nobody’s blocking anyone from having access to contraception. No one. The young lady who testified can get access to contraception. Nobody said she couldn’t. The question is should a Catholic institution, or for that matter, the Ohio Christian University which is a Protestant institution, which is a very pro-Life institution, which is now being told it will have to pay for abortion pills. Should a Protestant fundamentalist institution be dictated to by Washington politicians over whether or not it can have its own religious beliefs, or have we become a country where it’s okay to go to church on Sunday morning for one hour, but let’s not actually express those beliefs the rest of the week?”
Is it by chance that a gaggle of international media photographers happened to know exactly where to be for a “spontaneous” stone throwing event?
Example #9,847,583 that the media is the enemy.
Arab "spontaneous" stone throwing event
Jewish Press – Yesterday, AP published the photo below. They presented it as a story were about Palestinians throwing rocks at Israeli cars on the main highway near Hebron, this photo is particularly interesting because the photographer caught the rock right as it shattered an Israeli woman’s window.
But that isn’t the story, the story is really about what you see in the background. AP and the other photographers are the real story. The photograph is the real story.
If you look in the background of the picture you’ll see a Press photographer, and obviously there are more around because a different photographer took this picture.
Is it by chance that a gaggle of international media photographers happened to know exactly where to be for a “spontaneous” stone throwing event? From all the towns and all the roads in the entire Judea and Samaria, a group of international media photographers just happened to be just at the right time and place. Coincidence? Hard to believe.
The real story is about the international media apparently receiving advanced warning as to where to go to regularly get these photographs. There have even been cases in the International media where photographers helped stage the stone throwing for the story. And certainly when a gaggle of photographers are around, the Palestinians are happy to give them a story, making the photographers part of the story itself.
So which one is it here? We’ll probably never know.
But we do know there is obviously collusion, direct or indirect, going on between the organizers of these “spontaneous” stone throwing events and the international media which distributes their productions for them.
Another lying Leftist moron pimping for the annihilation of Israel.
Arutz Sheva – A Quebec city mayor, known for anti-Israel remarks, has gone even further and vehemently declared that Israel has not right to exist.
Huntingdon, Quebec Mayor Stéphane Gendron said on a television program that he hosts, that he enthusiastically supports a Montreal man, Amir Khadr, who called for a boycott of a store that sells Israeli clothes.
“I want to pay tribute to him for his boycott of the boutique… There were boycotts of South Africa, there were ad campaigns saying ‘there is organized apartheid, we will stop buying products made in South Africa’. It was a long process, the regime collapsed.
“Unfortunately, Israel has not yet collapsed but I support the boycott…because products made in Israel on land stolen from the Palestinians that is walled in, in an apartheid regime where they are cut off, it’s very serious. And a country like that does not deserve to exist.”
In early November, Gendron charged on television that Israel was about to “bulldoze” people in order to build homes, In his words, “In revenge for the admission of Palestine to UNESCO, [Israel] decided to build 2,000 homes in areas that do not belong to them, the occupied territories, so they are going to bulldoze people, kill people, they will give them five minutes to get out and then they’ll run people down with bulldozers. And Canada supports this.”
Honest Reporting Canada said that after the episode, complaints were filed with the “V Television” management, which aired the program, and that it replied, “In order to avoid repeating a similar occurrence in the future, we have reiterated the need for the program to adhere to the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council’s guidelines.”
Gendron was not reprimanded.
During the Second Lebanon War in 2006, Gendron called Israelis “modern-day Nazis” but later said he was referring to the government and not all Israeli citizens. He stood by his comparison to the Nazi regime. (more >>>)
Can there be any doubt left that the media is the enemy? The Occupiers owe everything to the 1% media. The total number of protestors across the country was what, maybe fifty thousand people? And half of those were supplied by unions and college students skipping class. Another quarter were homeless hippies. The rest – hardcore Marxists, socialists, and anarchists. This, according to Democrats “is the best of America”.
Obama’s Marxist class warfare speeches, the occupy movement, the fawning media coverage of both: it’s all deliberate, all planned. The cheery on the top of this garbage heap was Obama’s 99% anti-American, Marxist claptrap speech he delivered in Osawatomie, Kansas on Tuesday.
Will TIME make the Occupiers the #1 story next year after these same people set the streets of America on fire?
On Sept. 17, a couple hundred protesters demonstrating against the excesses of corporate execs and the pervasive influence of high finance in U.S. politics set up camp in Lower Manhattan’s Zuccotti Park and refused to leave. It was an unlikely occupation, one without leaders, agendas or even a clear sense of goals, but it soon was echoed in myriad cities across the U.S. and the world. To some, Occupy Wall Street is the left-wing iteration of the Tea Party, directing their rage not at big government but at the big banks that gutted the world economy and took billions in bailouts from the U.S. government while awarding themselves hefty bonuses.
But many in the movement see their cause as part of a more global zeitgeist, in keeping with the anti-austerity demonstrations in Europe and the leaderless uprisings of the Arab Spring. The Occupy movement has remained leaderless, amorphous and spontaneous — demonstrators carry signs advocating everything from financial reform to healthcare reform to a ban on fracking — it’s still unclear what sort of real lasting political effect the movement can have. But the sheer persistence of the occupations, galvanized by incidents of heavy-handed policing in New York and California that shocked the nation, have given the protesters’ appeals for economic justice a weight that may play a real role in the upcoming presidential election.
The Arabs, making Goebbels Proud 24/7, 365. Yes, reason #13578 why we call them Islamonazis.
Anti-Semitic books like Mein Kampf and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion have been perennial bestsellers in the Arab world for decades, so it’s not surprising that the book is prominently displayed.
(Oh, and keep in mind that Obama’s ambassador to Belgium, Howard Gutman, just finished lecturing a roomful of Jews that Israel was to blame for Muslim anti-Semitism. Dumbass.)
It’s easy to blame Virgin’s Richard Branson, but according to Wikipedia:
During the early to mid 2000s Virgin Group decided to sell off most of its Virgin Megastores to various companies, including the Lagardere Group. By 2001 the Virgin Megastores worldwide were split between the Virgin Group and the Lagardère Group. The Virgin Group kept the UK, Ireland, USA and Japan outlets while the Lagardère Group obtained the shops in France and travel retail locations globally including Australia, China, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Greece, Egypt and Lebanon.
French, then? Oui, oui. Now that makes even more sense!

Sweden has lost its collective mind. This is the same country where Jews have had to flee the city of Malmo. There are only about 18,000 Jews in all of Sweden. Some 3000 live in the south, and about 700 in Malmo. But that is far, far too many for Sweden, especially for Malmo.
But Sweden isn’t content with ridding itself of Jews, they want to get rid of Israel, too. The government-funded magazine calls for the boycott of the State of Israel, which it falsely accuses of ethnic cleansing of Arabs in Judea and Samaria, racist legislation, racial segregation, and the establishment and maintenance of an apartheid administration in the territories. All absolute lies, but for Sweden and their government-controlled media, lying has become a way of life.
Anti-Israel protest in Stockholm
Arutz Sheva – Swedish “humanitarian” funding paid for the publication of an anti-Israel booklet produced in Sweden, for local consumption, that accuses Israel of ethnic cleansing in Judea and Samaria.
Funded at a cost of NIS 390,000 (approximately $104,600) under the category of “humanitarian aid,” the slick booklet was created by a Swedish pro-Palestinian Authority solidarity group.
In its pages the brochure calls for the boycott of the State of Israel, which it accuses of ethnic cleansing of Arabs in Judea and Samaria, racist legislation, racial segregation, and the establishment and maintenance of an apartheid administration in the territories.
Funded by a Swedish foreign aid society and the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) organization, the brochure was roundly condemned by both the government of the State of Israel, and the Swedish Jewish community.
Israel’s ambassador to Sweden, Benny Dagan, met with legislative members of the Sweden-Israel Friendship Association, and urged them to pressure the government to cut funding to agencies that promote anti-Israel activities.
“The fact that this kind of hate propaganda is being financed by Swedish government foreign aid funds is simply outrageous,” Israel Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor told Arutz Sheva in an interview Sunday.
“There is little we can do about it. It is a domestic publication, produced by Swedish taxpayer money. But it is for the Swedish taxpayers to say whether this is a proper use of their money, whether it should be spent on hunger in Africa and similar issues, or used to fund hate literature instead.”
The print version of the publication, produced only in Swedish, is offered to the public free of charge. If one orders more than three copies, however, one is charged for the postage, according to the website. Sweden is a member of the European Union, which has been accused of funding numerous anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian Authority efforts in Judea and Samaria over the years.
The ultimate evidence that Herman Cain is now recognized as a legitimate contender and a threat to Liberals has arrived. It began with the Goebbels media challenging Cain’s ‘authenticity’ as a black man. Only black Democrats can be authentically black, don’t we know.
But, as the absurdity inherent in those charges couldn’t slow down the Cain Train, the Liberal hitmen at Politico have taken their calumny to the next level, using the same tactics the racist Left used against Clarence Thomas in the early 1990s – charging sexual harassment. The Cain campaign, of course, condemns the malicious smear.
In a statement to The Associated Press Sunday night, Cain‘s campaign said that the POLITICO report isn’t true and represents unfair attacks.
Cain spokesman J.D. Gordon said the political press was “dredging up thinly sourced allegations” from Cain’s tenure leading the trade group in the 1990s. Gordon said the report includes “unsubstantiated personal attacks” and said the press is “casting aspersions on his character and spreading rumors that never stood up to the facts.”
Ann Coulter came to Herman Cain’s defense, pointing out the racism and hypocrisy of the Left.
Daily Caller – Politico dropped a bombshell story Sunday evening, charging that GOP presidential front-runner Herman Cain was accused of sexual harassment by two unnamed females in the late 1990s when he was CEO of the National Restaurant Association.
During an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Geraldo at Large” just an hour later, Ann Coulter likened the allegations to those Clarence Thomas faced in the early 1990s during his Supreme Court confirmation process. “Liberals are terrified of Herman Cain,” she said. “He is a strong, conservative black man … They are terrified of strong, conservative black men.
“It’s outrageous the way liberals treat a black conservative,” she told Geraldo. “This is another high-tech lynching. … Nothing liberals fear more than a black conservative. Ask Allen West. Ask Michael Steele. Ask Clarence Thomas. And even what the allegations are here, I mean, just shows you how the civil-rights juggernaut has gone off the rails. The idea of civil rights laws to begin with ironically was to protect blacks from Democrats from the South who won’t protect them. Now it’s you know, white women from Scarsdale who say, ‘Oh, I don’t like that he called me honey.’”
Coulter also questioned some of the details of the report and if they merited the definition of harassment.
“It’s not groping, it’s not touching or demanding sex,” Coulter said. “It’s that he had remarks that they found inappropriate. One is he had inappropriate gestures that were not overtly sexual. Well, what were they then? This isn’t dropping your pants and saying ‘kiss it.’ [Bill Clinton] This is an outrageous attack on a black conservative who is doing extremely well and will be our vice-presidential candidate.”
Politico typically buries the defense of Cain on page four of their article.
It’s interesting that his supporters use their real names (unlike his accusers). Ron Magruder, Denise Marie Fugo and Joseph Fassler, the chair, vice chair and immediate past chairman of the National Restaurant Association board of directors at the time of Cain’s departure, said they hadn’t heard about any complaints regarding Cain making unwanted advances.
“I have never heard that. It would be news to me,” said Fugo, who runs a Cleveland, Ohio, catering company, adding such behavior would be totally out of character for the Cain she knew. “He’s very gracious.”
The support goes on, but we all know that will never make the front of the news. As Glenn Reynolds points out, another black man ran for president and mainstream media has surfaced almost nothing about him after all these years. We don’t even know something so trivial as his college grades, although Rick Perry’s emerged seemingly minutes after he declared his candidacy.
They also gave him a pass on spending twenty years in the church of a virulent racist. No one in the media asked him a serious question about it, nor did they ask him in any depth about his friendship with a unrepentant Weatherman. That’s just cute.
But never fear, when it comes to a black conservative, Politico is on the case. Never mind that what really happened is of course just as unknown to them as it is to us. That’s not the point. A man like Cain cannot be allowed in the White House. Why… why…. he might just…. harass an intern!
This will surely be picked up by the Liberal comedians and late-night talk show creeps. They will further the smears under the guise of comedy, none of which they would ever dare to use with a Democrat.
Hopefully, Herman will stand tall and throw it back in their faces.
Over at Hotair, both Ed Morrissey and Jazz Shaw weigh in on the controvery in their usual thoughtful fashion.
I think, however, they are a little too generous in their regard for the story. Even according to the original Politico story, Cain didn’t do or say anything worse than what might have offended the unnamed women’s feminist sensibilities. To my mind, this is a hit job, pure and simple. Politics is ugly, ugly business, and this race will prove uglier than most.
It’s a tactic right out of Saul Alinsky’s handbook, Rules for Radicals – ‘Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.’
There are few charges worse for Republicans than sexual harrassment, and the Left knows it. For a Democrat, such charges are résumé enhancers, as Rush might say. But, for Republicans it’s nasty stuff. It’s the accussation alone, not the facts or the truth, that the state-run Goebbels media will run with.
I agree with Professor Jacobson at Legalinsurrection who says conservatives must not allow themselves to be bullied, that they should stand with Herman Cain, and not fold up like timid ninnies as they did with Sarah Palin and so many others. Okay, he said it better, so here it is.
[...] How should we react? The instinct to defend a conservative is a good instinct. We’ve seen too many times, with Sarah Palin and recently with Rick Perry, how the MSM will give every benefit of the doubt to those who make accusations. We must fight against the use of mere accusations as evidence of actual misconduct.
If supporters of other candidates — particularly bloggers — gloat over Cain’s problems, post it in the comments and when I get back I’ll take a pixelated 2″ x 4″ to their heads, because piling on a fellow conservative is inexcusable. It’s the principle I’ve been following for the past three years when Republicans piled on and took cheap shots at Palin, and it’s a principle I’ll apply to Cain.
With the recent trade of captive IDF soldier Gilad Shalit for 1000 terrorists, international media has jumped at the opportunity to draw similarities and correlations…
Liberals are so shameless. Watch a CNN cow try to drag Herman Cain into a controversy over whether Mitt Romney, a Mormon, is a Christian.
Herman says, “I’m not running for ‘Theologian-in-Chief’,” and refuses to take the bait. But porky keeps it up, with a veiled threat, telling Herman that his answer “will beg the question that you dodged the question, which is, is Mitt Romney not a Christian?” Yes, it’s for just such eloquence that CNN pays the heifer the big bucks.
The same witch asked the same question of Michelle Bachmann. Not only that, after Bachmann also refused to bite, the ogress handed Bachmann the same threat.
Oh, these desperate Democrats. They know they are stuck with that embarrassment in the White House, and so they will do anything to distract from his failures.
Do you think this moose would dare ask Barack Obama if Reverend Wright is a real Christian? How about, is Louis Farrakhan a real Muslim? Never.
I’d have loved to hear one of them retort, “I know this, Mitt Romney is a hundred times the Christian than Barack Hussein Obama will ever be.”
