Video: Candidate taste test

Heh. One candidate is a glass of piss.

Sep 7, 2012 by – Candidate Obama told us in 2008 that if you have no record, you paint your opponent as someone to run from. Instead of creating jobs and uniting the country, he has pursued his policy of “divide and conquer.” He continues to paint Romney as someone to run from when he is the one who has failed to keep all of the promises he made in 2008. Obama gave us a speech with vague goals with no specific plans to get there. He asked Americans to help him do exactly what he did four years ago. If the last four years left a bad taste in your mouth, use your common sense in November.

Video: Peter Schiff at Dem convention – Hey, let’s ban corporate profits! Democrats readily agree

The Marxicrats show their true face.

Heh.

Sep 5, 2012 by – Posing as an anti-business crusader, Peter Schiff found a number of DNC delegates and attendees who support explicitly outlawing profitability. We deliberately avoided speaking with the occupy protestors camping outside in tents to get a more “mainstream” Democratic perspective!

Scott Ott’s Republican Convention news update

The inimitable Scott Ott shares his take on the Republican convention, and the Democrat-controlled media’s pathetic coverage of it.

Aug 29, 2012 by – Notwithstanding the Obama camp’s belief in the GOP war on women, Republican women took center stage during the Tampa convention. This did not prevent MSNBC from refusing to air the speeches of prominent GOP women. MSNBC even refused to air the speech of Puerto Rico’s First Lady Lucé Fortuna. Hear why on this PJ News Break with Scott Ott.

The Roach Knows – Roach race boasting 84% accuracy says Romney wins by a length

Obama heard crying, “Not fair! I was leading from behind!”

The Blaze – Here’s a little bit of election silliness for your Tuesday morning.

The results are in. Mitt Romney has won a close, but decisive victory over Barack Obama in the New Jersey Pest Management Association’s (NJPMA) 15th Presidential Cockroach Derby.

The NJPMA holds this race every four years — yes, it is a publicity stunt. However, the group claims to have an 84% accuracy rate in predicting election results.

CBS News in Philadelphia reports:

Back in 2008, Obama’s bug beat McCain’s, and in the Bush v. Gore race, the Gore roach won “by barely an antennae’s length.” Unsurprisingly, that race was mired in controversy—much like its real-life counterpart.

Unemployment rates rose in 44 U.S. states in July

Who couldn’t be excited about another 4 years of Obamanomics?

August unemployment not looking good either.

Washington Times — Unemployment rates rose in 44 U.S. states in July, the most states to show a monthly increase in more than three years and a reflection of weak hiring nationwide.

The Labor Department said Friday that unemployment rates fell in only two states and were unchanged in four.

Unemployment rates rose in nine states that are considered battlegrounds in the presidential election. That trend, if it continued, could pose a threat to President Barack Obama’s re-election bid in less than three months.

Nationwide, hiring improved in July after three months of tepid job gains. But the national unemployment rate ticked up to 8.3 percent from 8.2 percent. Monthly job gains have averaged 150,000 this year. That’s barely enough to accommodate population growth. As a result, the unemployment rate is the same as when the year began.

Still, 31 states gained jobs in July, while 19 lost them. Unemployment rates can rise in a state even when more jobs are created if more people start looking for work. People who are out of work are counted as unemployed only if they’re looking for a job.

In the most closely contested states in the presidential race, unemployment has fallen over the past year. That could help Obama in his contest with GOP candidate Mitt Romney.

But it has started to tick up in recent months. In Nevada, the rate rose to 12 percent in July from 11.6 percent the previous month. That’s the highest rate in the nation, though it’s still much lower than a year ago, when it was 13.8 percent.

And in Michigan, the rate has increased to 9 percent, from 8.5 percent two months earlier.

Unemployment also increased in Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Colorado, Wisconsin and New Hampshire.

The rate was unchanged at 7.2 percent in Ohio, the only swing state that didn’t suffer an increase. Still, that rate is down sharply from 8.9 percent a year ago.

Video: Rudy Giuliani – Joe Biden “just isn’t bright, he’s never been bright…he’s not very smart”

Rudy says what you’ve known for years:

Rudy Giuliani:

“I’ve never seen a vice president that has made as many mistakes, said as many stupid things. I mean there’s a real fear if, God forbid, if he ever had to be entrusted with the presidency, whether he really has the mental capacity to handle it.”

Video: Obama that I used to know – (Gotye ‘Somebody that I used to know’ parody)

2008 Obama supporters rip the Fraud-in-Chief with a parody of the popular Gotye song, ‘Somebody that I used to know’.

The Blaze – If you listen to pop radio at all — or even if you pay attention to the music that plays in the grocery store — you know that the group Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” is one of the hottest songs in the country right now. The catchy tune and eccentric music video are burning up the airwaves and the Internet. And now some 2008 Obama supporters have capitalized off of it with a scathing, yet hilarious, parody of the song that blasts the president.

The video is called “Obama That I Used to Know” and mocks everything from Obama’s high unemployment rate, to his promises of change, and even his use of drones and vow to close Guantanamo.

It includes lyrics such as, “But college ended, had to pay my rent / at least your the first gay president, but the change I got was that I moved in with my mother.”

There’s also: “Because you won and then you cut me off, but now your speeches never soar as high as unemployment.”

Video: 4 years of Obama in 40 Clint Eastwood quotes

This is clever. Well done boys.

Hilarious Video: As Jewish US Olympian Alexandra (Aly) Raisman advances, parents feel every move she makes

Oh the agony of being a parent and watching your child perform in the biggest day of her life!

You can emphasize with the parents of Jewish US Olympian Alexandra (Aly) Raisman as much as they do with their daughter. Comical and touching at the same time. I think every parent must be able to relate.

Watch:

Times of Israel – Jewish US Olympian Alexandra (Aly) Raisman, who advanced Monday to the all-around individual finals in London, chose Hava Nagila (Let’s Rejoice) as the background music for her qualifying-round routine.

Raisman’s performance to the Jewish tune was enough to overtake world champion teammate and favorite Jordyn Wieber, who was seen in tears after she failed to qualify for finals competition.

“It’s really hard,” Raisman said. “That was kind of like my first thought. I was really happy but then at the same time I feel bad just because I know how bad [Wieber] wanted it.”

Raisman’s parents have been getting some online attention of their own. The two were caught on camera cheering on daughter Aly in a manner that would put some synchronized swimmers to shame. A YouTube video of the cheering duo has garnered nearly 60,000 views since Sunday.

Here she is performing to Hava Nagila:

Obama spends more than he takes in, outspends Romney 4-1 in June

He runs his campaign like he runs the country. I bet’cha that by the end of the campaign his organization will be millions of dollars in debt.

After all that money and all those attacks, it didn’t budge his polls one iota.

Via Weasel Zippers:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Amid a heavy barrage of advertising by opposing “super” political groups, President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign spent more than it collected in June. While outraised again by Republican Mitt Romney, Obama ended the month with a hefty $97.5 million in the bank.

June was the second consecutive month in which Romney brought in more money than Obama, finance reports filed Friday show. Romney’s money advantage prompted Obama’s campaign advisers to warn earlier this month that the president could lose the election if the financial disparity continued.

Obama tried to answer the super PACs supporting Romney by spending $38.2 million on television advertising. Romney spent less than a third of that — $10.4 million — on TV time.

Romney’s campaign nearly doubled its spending in June compared with the previous month, underscoring the close proximity of the November general election in which Republicans hope to unseat Obama and, in part, dismantle the president’s signature health care overhaul.

Jerusalem neighborhoods fight blasting Islamic calls to prayer with amplified rock music

Heh. The whole world should do this.

Jul 17, 2012 by After the French Hill neighborhood of Jerusalem has decided to play very loud music, in defiance of the volume and disturbance of the sound of the muezzin at the mosque in nearby Al-Issawiya, two additional Jewish neighborhoods, Pisgat Ze’ev and Har Choma, have announced that they, too, will take up a similar approach. French Hill also decided to go with hard rock, and not Mediterranean tunes, as had originally been planned, because, as they put it, hard rock is more likely to deliver the message.

According to Yediot Jerusalem, the French Hill neighborhood has recently approached an amplification company with an order for four huge speakers to be directed at Al-Isawiya. As soon as the village muezzin will start his exceedingly loud prayer, it will be responded to with ear shattering Rock n’ Roll, letting local Arabs understand how disturbing the loud prayers have been to their Jewish neighbors.

Har Choma and Pisgat Ze’ev residents are waiting to see the results from the French Hill “pilot.” If the protest via rock blasts succeeds, the other two neighborhoods, situated on the border of the Jerusalem municipality, will follow suit.

Har Choma residents are coping with the sound of the muezzin from the villages of Umm Tuba and Sur Baher. Pisgat Ze’ev residents receive their 5 daily Muslim inspiration calls from Beit Hanina, Shuafat and Anata.

Jerusalem’s city hall has attempted to negotiated between Al-Issawiya village head Darwish Darwish and the residents of French Hill. Darwish promised to regulate the noise level, but the French Hill residents are saying nothing has changed, and the muezzin call continue to reach unbearable decibels.
