Progressive jackass Adam M. Smith fired for bullying Chick-Fil-A employee

The guy is a smug, self-righteous prick, but I don’t think he should have been fired over it. In America you have the freedom to make an ass out of yourself. This is the inevitable result of Progressives’s incessant cramming of political correctness down America’s throat. It has left the entire nation on edge and walking on egg shells.

A short while ago Adam’s employer Vante released this statement. (via Gateway Pundit)

Adam Smith was fired.

The following is a statement from Vante:

Vante regrets the unfortunate events that transpired yesterday in Tucson between our former CFO/Treasurer Adam Smith and an employee at Chick-fil-A. Effective immediately, Mr. Smith is no longer an employee of our company.

The actions of Mr. Smith do not reflect our corporate values in any manner. Vante is an equal opportunity company with a diverse workforce, which holds diverse opinions. We respect the right of our employees and all Americans to hold and express their personal opinions, however, we also expect our company officers to behave in a manner commensurate with their position and in a respectful fashion that conveys these values of civility with others.

We hope that the general population does not hold Mr. Smith’s actions against Vante and its employees.

Update: I’m in good company with my lack of enthusiasm for the creep’s firing:

  1. Interesting that “mr.” smith is getting nothing but praises for his attack on a worker at chick fil a, over on the HuffPost. As they spew their vile lies, and hatred, and singing the praise for mr. smith. Interesting how the liberals can be the most vile, hatefilled, not tolerant group, and attacking a person who has NOTHING what so ever to do with the initial statements. “Get a life mr. smith”, oooopsie I guess you now have a whole lot of life, or should I say time, for being a MORON, misguided liberal MORON might I add.

  2. If that young lady reacted in a bad to Mr.Smith she could of been fired too.In my veiw he wasn’t thinking of her either. He did it to himself,he has no right to push his veiws on someone else.

  3. please tell me what right he had to be an idiot (much like yourself)? What right? Freedom of Speech? Wrong. Freedom of speech is a right extended by the govt to the citizen, not from your employer to you. We like to throw out the “Freedom of Speech,” every time someone tells us to shut up, but you don’t have protection from your company…unless you work for the govt. The fact that he was easily recognizable and so was his company could have cost his business several thousands of dollars in lost business, so doesn’t the company have the right to exercise damage control to limit his affect?

  4. The reality is that when you are an Executive in a company, the contracts typically have a conduct clause and this would definitely not be representative of the values and beliefs of Vante, this private company. It is like a baseball professional’s contract where if he is arrested, that could be cause for termination. He is a punk ass bitch who harassed a young girl just trying to make money at an entry level job in a fast food place. She was respectful and professional, and while I disagree with the position on gay marriage with Dan Cathy, I do not think he hates nor promotes hate. He simply disagrees on one element and obviously this clown Adam Smith was looking for a fight. Well, he can now look for that fight in the unemployment line.

  5. She shows alot more professionalism than the ex CFO of Vante. THAT says alot about ChickFilA. Now if gheys could do have as such.

  6. This Adam Smith guy is your typical liberal asczewhole that doesn’t care how many innocent people are hurt by their over-the-top need to make their pathetic little points, I hope he’s now a hero of all the gay activists that have really stepped in a big pile of do-do with this one.

  7. I strongly disagree with your opinion that Smith did not deserve to be fired and I am glad that Vante executives also have the courage to stand up for their principles. We all make choices every day and we should also remember that sometimes choice comes with consequences.
