You might recall the story of the freighter “Victoria” Israeli commandos seized on it’s way to Egypt and Gaza, the one that carried 50 tons of Iranian weapons intended for Hamas. If not, I can’t blame you as the media all but ignored the incident. Below is an update on what was captured, and the threat that the confiscated C-704 missiles posed.
It is believed that the weapons which were loaded in Syria were first carried on the Iranian battleships that Egypt, the UN, and Obama allowed to pass through the Suez Canal unprotested, if you remember that story. There are no coincidences in the Middle East.
The interdiction of these arms is proof that the Gaza blockade serves a serious purpose, but don’t expect that to matter to the media if the new mega-flotilla appears on the horizon.
